Matt.10:10 10μὴ πήραν εἰς ὁδὸν μηδὲ δύο χιτῶνας μηδὲ ὑποδήματα μηδὲ ῥάβδον. ἄξιος γὰρ ἐργάτης τῆς τροφῆς αὐτοῦ. 10 Don’t carry a traveler’s bag with {RPT} a change of clothes and sandals or even a walking stick . Don’t hesitate to accept hospitality , because those who work deserve to be fed {RPT} .
Matt.10:11 11εἰς ἣν δ᾽ ἂν πόλιν κώμην εἰσέλθητε, ἐξετάσατε τίς ἐν αὐτῇ ἄξιός ἐστιν κἀκεῖ μείνατε ἕως ἂν ἐξέλθητε. 11 Whenever {RPT} you enter a city or village , search for a {NEQ} {RPT} worthy person and stay in his home until you leave town .
Matt.10:13 13καὶ ἐὰν μὲν οἰκία ἀξία, ἐλθάτω εἰρήνη ὑμῶν ἐπ᾽ αὐτήν· ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ἀξία, εἰρήνη ὑμῶν ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς ἐπιστραφήτω. 13 {NEQ} If it turns out to be a worthy home , let your {NEQ} blessing stand {RPT} ; if {NEQ} it is not {RPT} , take back the blessing {RPT} {RPT} .
Matt.10:37 37 φιλῶν πατέρα μητέρα ὑπὲρ ἐμέ, οὐκ ἔστιν μου ἄξιος· καὶ φιλῶν υἱὸν θυγατέρα ὑπὲρ ἐμέ, οὐκ ἔστιν μου ἄξιος. 37 If you love your father or mother more than you love me , you are not worthy of being mine ; or if you love your son or daughter more than me , you are not worthy of being mine .

Luke.7:4 4οἱ δὲ παραγενόμενοι πρὸς τὸν Ἰησοῦν παρεκάλουν αὐτὸν σπουδαίως. λέγοντες ὅτι, ̓Άξιός ἐστιν παρέξῃ τοῦτο, 4 So they earnestly begged {NEQ} Jesus to help the man {RPT} . If anyone deserves your help , he does , they said ,
Luke.10:7 7ἐν αὐτῇ δὲ τῇ οἰκίᾳ μένετε, ἐσθίοντες καὶ πίνοντες τὰ παρ᾽ αὐτῶν. ἄξιος γὰρ ἐργάτης τοῦ μισθοῦ αὐτοῦ. μὴ μεταβαίνετε ἐξ οἰκίας εἰς οἰκίαν. 7 Don’t move around from home to home . {NEQ} Stay in one {NEQ} place , eating and drinking what they provide . Don’t hesitate to accept hospitality , because those who work deserve their {NEQ} pay .
Luke.12:48 48 δὲ μὴ γνούς, ποιήσας δὲ ἄξια πληγῶν, δαρήσεται ὀλίγας. παντὶ δὲ ἐδόθη πολύ, πολὺ ζητηθήσεται παρ᾽ αὐτοῦ· καὶ παρέθεντο πολύ, περισσότερον αἰτήσουσιν αὐτόν. 48   But someone who does not know , and then does something wrong , will be punished only lightly . When someone has been given much , much will be required in return {RPT} ; and when someone has been entrusted with much , even more will be required {RPT} .
Luke.15:19 19οὐκέτι εἰμὶ ἄξιος κληθῆναι υἱός σου. ποίησόν με ὡς ἕνα τῶν μισθίων σου. 19 and I am no longer worthy of being called your son . Please take me on as a {NEQ} hired servant {RPT} .
Luke.15:21 21εἶπεν δὲ υἱὸς αὐτῷ, Πάτερ, ἥμαρτον εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ ἐνώπιόν σου, οὐκέτι εἰμὶ ἄξιος κληθῆναι υἱός σου. 21 {NEQ} His son said to him , Father , I have sinned against both {NEQ} heaven and {NEQ} you , and I am no longer worthy of being called your son .  * 
Luke.23:15 15ἀλλ᾽ οὐδὲ Ἡρῴδης, ἀνέπεμψεν γὰρ αὐτὸν πρὸς ἡμᾶς· καὶ ἰδοὺ οὐδὲν ἄξιον θανάτου ἐστὶν πεπραγμένον αὐτῷ. 15 Herod came to the same conclusion and sent him back to us . {NEQ} {NEQ} Nothing this man has done calls for the death penalty .
Luke.23:41 41καὶ ἡμεῖς μὲν δικαίως ἄξια γὰρ ὧν ἐπράξαμεν ἀπολαμβάνομεν, οὗτος δὲ οὐδὲν ἄτοπον ἔπραξεν. 41 {NEQ} We {NEQ} deserve to die for {NEQ} our crimes , but this man hasn’t done anything wrong .
John.1:27 27ὀπίσω μου ἐρχόμενος, οὗ οὐκ εἰμὶ ἐγὼ ἄξιος ἵνα λύσω αὐτοῦ τὸν ἱμάντα τοῦ ὑποδήματος. 27 Though his ministry follows mine , {RPT} I’m not even worthy to be his slave and untie the straps of his sandal .
Acts.13:25 25ὡς δὲ ἐπλήρου Ἰωάνης τὸν δρόμον, ἔλεγεν, Τί ἐμὲ ὑπονοεῖτε εἶναι; οὐκ εἰμὶ ἐγώ· ἀλλ᾽ ἰδοὺ ἔρχεται μετ᾽ ἐμέ— οὗ οὐκ εἰμὶ ἄξιος τὸ ὑπόδημα τῶν ποδῶν λῦσαι. 25 As {NEQ} John was finishing his ministry he asked , Do you think I am the Messiah ? No , I am not ! But he is coming soon and {RPT} I’m not even worthy to be his slave and untie the sandals on his feet .
Acts.13:46 46παρρησιασάμενοί τε Παῦλος καὶ Βαρνάβας εἶπαν, Ὑμῖν ἦν ἀναγκαῖον πρῶτον λαληθῆναι τὸν λόγον τοῦ θεοῦ. ἐπειδὴ ἀπωθεῖσθε αὐτὸν καὶ οὐκ ἀξίους κρίνετε ἑαυτοὺς τῆς αἰωνίου ζωῆς, ἰδοὺ στρεφόμεθα εἰς τὰ ἔθνη. 46 Then {NEQ} Paul and {NEQ} Barnabas spoke out boldly and declared , It was necessary that we first preach the word of {NEQ} God to you Jews . But since you have rejected it and judged yourselves unworthy of eternal {NEQ} life , {NEQ} we will offer it to the Gentiles .
Acts.23:29 29ὃν εὗρον ἐγκαλούμενον περὶ ζητημάτων τοῦ νόμου αὐτῶν— μηδὲν δὲ ἄξιον θανάτου δεσμῶν ἔχοντα ἔγκλημα. 29 {RPT} I soon discovered the charge was something regarding their religious {NEQ} law {NEQ} certainly {RPT} {RPT} nothing worthy of imprisonment or death .
Acts.25:11 11εἰ μὲν οὖν ἀδικῶ καὶ ἄξιον θανάτου πέπραχά τι, οὐ παραιτοῦμαι τὸ ἀποθανεῖν· εἰ δὲ οὐδὲν ἔστιν ὧν οὗτοι κατηγοροῦσίν μου, οὐδείς με δύναται αὐτοῖς χαρίσασθαι· Καίσαρα ἐπικαλοῦμαι. 11 If {NEQ} {NEQ} I have done something worthy of death , I don’t refuse {NEQ} to die . But if I am innocent , no one has a right to turn me over to these men to kill me . I appeal to Caesar !
Acts.25:25 25ἐγὼ δὲ κατελαβόμην μηδὲν ἄξιον αὐτὸν θανάτου πεπραχέναι· αὐτοῦ δέ, τούτου ἐπικαλεσαμένου τὸν Σεβαστόν, ἔκρινα πέμπειν. 25 But in my opinion he has done nothing deserving death . However , since he appealed his case to the emperor , I have decided to send him to Rome .
Acts.26:20 20ἀλλὰ τοῖς ἐν Δαμασκῷ πρῶτόν τε, καὶ Ἱεροσολύμοις πᾶσάν τε τὴν χώραν τῆς Ἰουδαίας, καὶ τοῖς ἔθνεσιν, ἀπήγγελλον μετανοεῖν καὶ ἐπιστρέφειν ἐπὶ τὸν θεόν— ἄξια τῆς μετανοίας ἔργα πράσσοντας. 20 {NEQ} I preached first to those in Damascus {NEQ} , then in Jerusalem and throughout all {NEQ} Judea , and also to the Gentiles , that all must repent of their sins and turn to {NEQ} God and {NEQ} prove they have changed by the good things they do .
Acts.26:31 31καὶ ἀναχωρήσαντες, ἐλάλουν πρὸς ἀλλήλους λέγοντες ὅτι, Οὐδὲν θανάτου δεσμῶν ἄξιόν τι πράσσει ἄνθρωπος οὗτος. 31 {NEQ} As they went out , they talked it over and agreed , This {NEQ} man hasn’t done anything to deserve death or imprisonment .
Rom.1:32 32οἵτινες τὸ δικαίωμα τοῦ θεοῦ ἐπιγνόντες ὅτι οἱ τὰ τοιαῦτα πράσσοντες ἄξιοι θανάτου εἰσίν, οὐ μόνον αὐτὰ ποιοῦσιν· ἀλλά, καί, συνευδοκοῦσιν τοῖς πράσσουσιν. 32 They know {NEQ} God’s {NEQ} justice requires that those who do {NEQ} these things deserve to die , yet they do them anyway . Worse yet , they encourage others to do them , too .
Rom.8:18 18λογίζομαι γὰρ ὅτι οὐκ ἄξια τὰ παθήματα τοῦ νῦν καιροῦ πρὸς τὴν μέλλουσαν δόξαν ἀποκαλυφθῆναι εἰς ἡμᾶς. 18 {RPT} Yet {NEQ} what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later .
1Cor.16:4 4ἐὰν δὲ ἄξιον τοῦ κἀμὲ πορεύεσθαι, σὺν ἐμοὶ πορεύσονται. 4 And if it seems appropriate for me {NEQ} to go along , they can travel with me .
2Thes.1:3 3εὐχαριστεῖν ὀφείλομεν τῷ θεῷ πάντοτε περὶ ὑμῶν, ἀδελφοί, καθὼς ἄξιόν ἐστιν, ὅτι ὑπεραυξάνει πίστις ὑμῶν καὶ πλεονάζει ἀγάπη ἑνὸς ἑκάστου πάντων ὑμῶν εἰς ἀλλήλους· 3 Dear brothers and sisters ,  *  we can’t help but {NEQ} thank {NEQ} God for you , because your {NEQ} faith is flourishing and your {NEQ} love for one another is growing .

1Tim.6:1 1ὅσοι εἰσὶν ὑπὸ ζυγὸν δοῦλοι τοὺς ἰδίους δεσπότας πάσης τιμῆς ἀξίους ἡγείσθωσαν ἵνα μὴ τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ διδασκαλία βλασφημῆται. 6:1 All slaves should show full respect for their masters so they will not bring shame on the name of {NEQ} God and his teaching .
Heb.11:38 38ὧν οὐκ ἦν ἄξιος κόσμος, ἐπὶ ἐρημίαις πλανώμενοι καὶ ὄρεσι, καὶ σπηλαίοις καὶ ταῖς ὀπαῖς τῆς γῆς. 38 They were too good for this world , wandering over deserts and mountains , hiding {NEQ} in caves and {NEQ} holes in the ground .
Rev.3:4 4ἀλλὰ ἔχεις ὀλίγα ὀνόματα ἐν Σάρδεσιν οὐκ ἐμόλυναν τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτῶν. καὶ περιπατήσουσιν μετ᾽ ἐμοῦ ἐν λευκοῖς, ὅτι ἄξιοί εἰσιν. 4 Yet there are some in the church in Sardis who have not soiled their {NEQ} clothes with evil . {NEQ} They will walk with me in white , for they are worthy .
Rev.4:11 11̓Άξιος εἶ, κύριος καὶ θεὸς ἡμῶν, λαβεῖν τὴν δόξαν καὶ τὴν τιμὴν καὶ τὴν δύναμιν. ὅτι σὺ ἔκτισας τὰ πάντα, καὶ διὰ τὸ θέλημά σου ἦσαν καὶ ἐκτίσθησαν. 11 You are worthy , O {NEQ} Lord {NEQ} our {NEQ} God , to receive {RPT} glory and {RPT} honor and {RPT} power . For you created all things , and they exist because you {NEQ} created what you pleased .
Rev.5:2 2καὶ εἶδον ἄγγελον ἰσχυρόν, κηρύσσοντα ἐν φωνῇ μεγάλῃ· Τίς ἄξιος ἀνοῖξαι τὸ βιβλίον καὶ λῦσαι τὰς σφραγῖδας αὐτοῦ; 2 And I saw a strong angel , who shouted with a loud voice : Who is worthy to break the seals on this scroll and open it ?
Rev.5:4 4καὶ ἔκλαιον πολύ ὅτι οὐδεὶς ἄξιος εὑρέθη ἀνοῖξαι τὸ βιβλίον οὔτε βλέπειν αὐτό. 4 Then I began to weep bitterly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll and read it .
Rev.5:9 9καὶ ᾄδουσιν ᾠδὴν καινὴν λέγοντες· ̓Άξιος εἶ λαβεῖν τὸ βιβλίον καὶ ἀνοῖξαι τὰς σφραγῖδας αὐτοῦ. ὅτι ἐσφάγης, καὶ ἠγόρασας τῷ θεῷ ἐν τῷ αἵματί σου ἐκ πάσης φυλῆς καὶ γλώσσης καὶ λαοῦ καὶ ἔθνους. 9 And they sang a new song with these words : You are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals and open it . For you were slaughtered , and your {NEQ} blood has ransomed people {NEQ} for God from every tribe and language and people and nation .
Rev.5:12 12λέγοντες φωνῇ μεγάλῃ· ̓Άξιόν ἐστιν τὸ ἀρνίον, τὸ ἐσφαγμένον· λαβεῖν τὴν δύναμιν καὶ πλοῦτον καὶ σοφίαν καὶ ἰσχὺν καὶ τιμὴν καὶ δόξαν καὶ εὐλογίαν. 12 And they sang in a mighty chorus : Worthy is the Lamb who was slaughtered to receive {NEQ} power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing .
Rev.16:6 6ὅτι αἷμα ἁγίων καὶ προφητῶν ἐξέχεαν, καὶ αἷμα αὐτοῖς δέδωκας πεῖν· ἄξιοί εἰσιν. 6 Since they shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets , {NEQ} you have given them blood to drink . It is their just reward .
