Matt.7:17 17οὕτω πᾶν δένδρον ἀγαθὸν καρποὺς καλοὺς ποιεῖ, τὸ δὲ σαπρὸν δένδρον καρποὺς πονηροὺς ποιεῖ. 17 {NEQ} A good tree produces good fruit , and a bad tree produces bad fruit .
Matt.7:18 18οὐ δύναται δένδρον ἀγαθὸν καρποὺς πονηροὺς ποιεῖν, οὐδὲ δένδρον σαπρὸν καρποὺς καλοὺς ποιεῖν. 18 A good tree can’t produce bad fruit , and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit .
Matt.12:35 35ὁ ἀγαθὸς ἄνθρωπος ἐκ τοῦ ἀγαθοῦ θησαυροῦ ἐκβάλλει ἀγαθά, καὶ ὁ πονηρὸς ἄνθρωπος ἐκ τοῦ πονηροῦ θησαυροῦ ἐκβάλλει πονηρά. 35 A good person produces good things from {RPT} the treasury of a good heart , and an evil person produces evil things from {RPT} the treasury of an evil heart .

She was always doing kind things for others and helping the poor .
Acts.11:24 24ὅτι ἦν ἀνὴρ ἀγαθός, καὶ πλήρης πνεύματος ἁγίου καὶ πίστεως. καὶ προσετέθη ὄχλος ἱκανὸς τῷ κυρίῳ. 24 {NEQ} Barnabas was a good man , {NEQ} full of the Holy Spirit and strong in faith . And many people were brought to the Lord .
Acts.23:1 1ἀτενίσας δὲ ὁ Παῦλος τῷ συνεδρίῳ, εἶπεν· ̓Άνδρες ἀδελφοί, ἐγὼ πάσῃ συνειδήσει ἀγαθῇ πεπολίτευμαι τῷ θεῷ ἄχρι ταύτης τῆς ἡμέρας. 23:1 {NEQ} Gazing intently at the high council ,  *  {NEQ} Paul began : “ Brothers , I have always lived before {NEQ} God with a clear conscience ! ”
Rom.2:7 7τοῖς μὲν καθ᾽ ὑπομονὴν ἔργου ἀγαθοῦ, δόξαν καὶ τιμὴν καὶ ἀφθαρσίαν ζητοῦσιν ζωὴν αἰώνιον· 7 He will give eternal life to those who {NEQ} keep on doing good , seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers .
Rom.7:12 12ὥστε, ὁ μὲν νόμος ἅγιος, καὶ ἡ ἐντολὴ ἁγία καὶ δικαία καὶ ἀγαθή. 12 But still , the {NEQ} law itself is holy , and its commands are holy and right and good .
Rom.7:19 19οὐ γὰρ ὃ θέλω ποιῶ ἀγαθόν· ἀλλὰ ὃ οὐ θέλω κακόν, τοῦτο πράσσω. 19 {NEQ} I want to do what is good , but I don’t . I don’t want to do what is wrong , but I do it anyway .
Rom.9:11 11μήπω γὰρ γεννηθέντων, μηδὲ πραξάντων τι ἀγαθὸν ἢ φαῦλον, (ἵνα ἡ κατ᾽ ἐκλογὴν πρόθεσις τοῦ θεοῦ μένῃ· 11 But before they were born , before they had done anything good or bad , she received a message from God . ( This message shows that {NEQ} God chooses people according to his own purposes ;
Rom.12:2 2καὶ μὴ συσχηματίζεσθε τῷ αἰῶνι τούτῳ, ἀλλὰ μεταμορφοῦσθε τῇ ἀνακαινώσει τοῦ νοός· εἰς τὸ δοκιμάζειν ὑμᾶς τί τὸ θέλημα τοῦ θεοῦ, τὸ ἀγαθὸν καὶ εὐάρεστον καὶ τέλειον. 2 {NEQ} Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this {NEQ} world , but let God transform you into a new person by {NEQ} changing the way you think . Then you will learn to know {NEQ} God’s {NEQ} will for you , which is {NEQ} good and pleasing and perfect .
Rom.13:3 3οἱ γὰρ ἄρχοντες οὐκ εἰσὶν φόβος τῷ ἀγαθῷ ἔργῳ, ἀλλὰ τῷ κακῷ. θέλεις δὲ μὴ φοβεῖσθαι τὴν ἐξουσίαν; τὸ ἀγαθὸν ποίει καὶ ἕξεις ἔπαινον ἐξ αὐτῆς. 3 For the authorities do not strike fear in people who are doing right , but in those who are doing wrong . {NEQ} Would you like to live without fear of the authorities ? Do what is right , and {RPT} they will honor you .
2Cor.5:10 10τοὺς γὰρ πάντας ἡμᾶς φανερωθῆναι δεῖ ἔμπροσθεν τοῦ βήματος τοῦ Χριστοῦ· ἵνα κομίσηται ἕκαστος τὰ διὰ τοῦ σώματος πρὸς ἃ ἔπραξεν εἴτε ἀγαθὸν εἴτε φαῦλον. 10 For we must {NEQ} all stand before {RPT} Christ to be judged . {NEQ} We will each receive whatever we deserve for the {RPT} good or evil {NEQ} {RPT} we have done in this earthly body .
2Cor.9:8 8δυνατεῖ δὲ ὁ θεὸς πᾶσαν χάριν περισσεῦσαι εἰς ὑμᾶς· ἵνα ἐν παντὶ πάντοτε πᾶσαν αὐτάρκειαν ἔχοντες περισσεύητε εἰς πᾶν ἔργον ἀγαθόν· 8 And {NEQ} God will generously provide all you need . Then you will {NEQ} {RPT} always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others .
Eph.2:10 10αὐτοῦ γάρ ἐσμεν ποίημα· κτισθέντες ἐν Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ, ἐπὶ ἔργοις ἀγαθοῖς οἷς προητοίμασεν ὁ θεὸς ἵνα ἐν αὐτοῖς περιπατήσωμεν. 10 For we are God’s masterpiece . He has created us anew in Christ Jesus , {RPT} so we can {NEQ} {RPT} do the good things he {RPT} planned for us long ago .
Eph.4:29 29πᾶς λόγος σαπρὸς ἐκ τοῦ στόματος ὑμῶν μὴ ἐκπορευέσθω· ἀλλὰ εἴ τις ἀγαθὸς πρὸς οἰκοδομὴν τῆς χρείας, ἵνα δῷ χάριν τοῖς ἀκούουσιν. 29 Don’t use foul or abusive language {RPT} . {NEQ} {NEQ} Let everything you say be good and helpful , so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them .
Eph.6:8 8εἰδότες ὅτι ἕκαστος ἐάν τι ποιήσῃ ἀγαθόν, τοῦτο κομίσεται παρὰ κυρίου εἴτε δοῦλος εἴτε ἐλεύθερος. 8 Remember that the Lord will reward each one of us for the good {NEQ} {NEQ} we do , whether we are slaves or free .
Phil.1:6 6πεποιθὼς αὐτὸ τοῦτο, ὅτι ὁ ἐναρξάμενος ἐν ὑμῖν ἔργον ἀγαθόν, ἐπιτελέσει ἄχρι ἡμέρας Χριστοῦ Ἰησοῦ· 6 And I am certain that God , {NEQ} who began the good work within you , will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns .

1Tim.1:19 19ἔχων πίστιν, καὶ ἀγαθὴν συνείδησιν· ἥν τινες ἀπωσάμενοι, περὶ τὴν πίστιν ἐναυάγησαν· 19 Cling to your faith in Christ , and keep your conscience clear . For some people have deliberately violated their consciences ; as a result , their faith has been shipwrecked .
1Tim.2:10 10ἀλλ᾽ ὃ πρέπει γυναιξὶν ἐπαγγελλομέναις θεοσέβειαν δι᾽ ἔργων ἀγαθῶν. 10 For women who claim to be devoted to God should make themselves attractive by the good things they do .
1Tim.5:10 10ἐν ἔργοις καλοῖς μαρτυρουμένη· εἰ ἐτεκνοτρόφησεν; εἰ ἐξενοδόχησεν; εἰ ἁγίων πόδας ἔνιψεν; εἰ θλιβομένοις ἐπήρκεσεν; εἰ παντὶ ἔργῳ ἀγαθῷ ἐπηκολούθησεν; 10 She must be well respected by everyone because of the good she has done . {RPT} Has she brought up her children well ? {RPT} Has she been kind to strangers and {RPT} served other believers humbly ?  *  {RPT} Has she helped those who are in trouble ? {RPT} Has she always been ready to do good ?
2Tim.2:21 21ἐὰν οὖν τις ἐκκαθάρῃ ἑαυτὸν ἀπὸ τούτων, ἔσται σκεῦος εἰς τιμὴν ἡγιασμένον· εὔχρηστον τῷ δεσπότῃ, εἰς πᾶν ἔργον ἀγαθὸν ἡτοιμασμένον. 21 If you keep yourself pure {RPT} , you will be a special utensil for honorable use . Your life will be clean , and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work .
2Tim.3:17 17ἵνα ἄρτιος ᾖ ὁ τοῦ θεοῦ ἄνθρωπος πρὸς πᾶν ἔργον ἀγαθὸν ἐξηρτισμένος. 17 {NEQ} God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work .
Titus.1:16 16θεὸν ὁμολογοῦσιν εἰδέναι, τοῖς δὲ ἔργοις ἀρνοῦνται. βδελυκτοὶ ὄντες καὶ ἀπειθεῖς, καὶ πρὸς πᾶν ἔργον ἀγαθὸν ἀδόκιμοι. 16 Such people claim they know God , but they deny him by the way they live . They are detestable and disobedient , {NEQ} worthless for doing anything good .
Titus.2:5 5σώφρονας, ἁγνάς, οἰκουργούς, ἀγαθάς, ὑποτασσομένας τοῖς ἰδίοις ἀνδράσιν· ἵνα μὴ ὁ λόγος τοῦ θεοῦ βλασφημῆται. 5 to live wisely and be pure , to work in their homes ,  *  to do good , and to be submissive to {NEQ} their husbands . Then they will not bring shame on the word of {NEQ} God .
Titus.2:10 10μὴ νοσφιζομένους, ἀλλὰ πᾶσαν πίστιν ἐνδεικνυμένους ἀγαθήν· ἵνα τὴν διδασκαλίαν τὴν τοῦ σωτῆρος ἡμῶν θεοῦ κοσμῶσιν ἐν πᾶσιν. 10 or steal , but must show themselves to be entirely trustworthy and good . Then they will make the {RPT} teaching about God our {NEQ} Savior attractive in every way .
Titus.3:1 1ὑπομίμνησκε αὐτοὺς ἀρχαῖς ἐξουσίαις ὑποτάσσεσθαι· πειθαρχεῖν, πρὸς πᾶν ἔργον ἀγαθὸν ἑτοίμους εἶναι· 3:1 Remind the believers to submit to the government and its officers . They should be obedient , always ready to do what is good .
Heb.13:21 21καταρτίσαι ὑμᾶς ἐν παντὶ ἀγαθῷ εἰς τὸ ποιῆσαι τὸ θέλημα αὐτοῦ· ποιῶν ἐν ὑμῖν τὸ εὐάρεστον ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ, διὰ Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ, ᾧ ἡ δόξα εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων· ἀμήν. 21 may he equip you with all you need for doing his {NEQ} will . Jas.3:17 17ἡ δὲ ἄνωθεν σοφία πρῶτον μὲν ἁγνή ἐστιν· ἔπειτα εἰρηνική, ἐπιεικής, εὐπειθής· μεστὴ ἐλέους καὶ καρπῶν ἀγαθῶν· ἀδιάκριτος, ἀνυπόκριτος. 17 But the wisdom from above is first of all pure . It is also peace loving , gentle at all times , and willing to yield to others . It is full of mercy and good deeds . It shows no favoritism and is always sincere .
1Pet.2:18 18οἱ οἰκέται ὑποτασσόμενοι ἐν παντὶ φόβῳ τοῖς δεσπόταις· οὐ μόνον τοῖς ἀγαθοῖς καὶ ἐπιεικέσιν, ἀλλὰ καὶ τοῖς σκολιοῖς. 18 You who are slaves must accept the authority of your masters with all respect .  *  Do what they tell you — not only if they are kind and reasonable , but even if they are cruel .
1Pet.3:10 10ὁ, γάρ, Θέλων ζωὴν ἀγαπᾶν καὶ ἰδεῖν ἡμέρας ἀγαθάς, παυσάτω τὴν γλῶσσαν ἀπὸ κακοῦ, καὶ χείλη τοῦ μὴ λαλῆσαι δόλον. 10 For the Scriptures say , “ If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days , keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies .
1Pet.3:16 16ἀλλὰ μετὰ πραΰτητος καὶ φόβου· συνείδησιν ἔχοντες ἀγαθήν· ἵνα ἐν ᾧ καταλαλεῖσθε, καταισχυνθῶσιν οἱ ἐπηρεάζοντες ὑμῶν τὴν ἀγαθὴν ἐν Χριστῷ ἀναστροφήν. 16 But do this in a gentle and respectful way .  *  Keep your conscience clear . Then if people speak against you , they will be ashamed when they see what a good life you live because you belong to Christ .
1Pet.3:21 21ὃ καὶ ὑμᾶς ἀντίτυπον νῦν σῴζει βάπτισμα, οὐ σαρκὸς ἀπόθεσις ῥύπου, ἀλλὰ συνειδήσεως ἀγαθῆς ἐπερώτημα εἰς θεόν· δι᾽ ἀναστάσεως Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ· 21 And that water is a picture of baptism , which now saves you , not by removing dirt from your body , but as a response to God from  *  a clean conscience . It is effective because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ .
