The door is locked for the night , and my family and I are all in {NEQ} bed . I can’t help you . ’

Acts.5:34 34ἀναστὰς δέ τις ἐν τῷ συνεδρίῳ, Φαρισαῖος ὀνόματι Γαμαλιήλ, νομοδιδάσκαλος τίμιος παντὶ τῷ λαῷ, ἐκέλευσεν ἔξω βραχὺ τοὺς ἀνθρώπους ποιῆσαι. 34 But one member , a Pharisee named Gamaliel , who was an expert in religious law and respected by all the people , stood up and ordered that the men be sent outside the council chamber for a while .
Acts.5:36 36πρὸ γὰρ τούτων τῶν ἡμερῶν ἀνέστη Θευδᾶς, λέγων εἶναί τινα ἑαυτόν· ᾧ προσεκλίθη ἀνδρῶν ἀριθμὸς ὡς τετρακοσίων, ὃς ἀνῃρέθη, καὶ πάντες ὅσοι ἐπείθοντο αὐτῷ διελύθησαν· καὶ ἐγένοντο εἰς οὐδέν. 36 {NEQ} Some time ago there was that fellow Theudas , who pretended to be someone great . About 400 others joined him , but he was killed , and all his followers went their various ways . The whole movement came to nothing .
Acts.5:37 37μετὰ τοῦτον, ἀνέστη Ἰούδας ὁ Γαλιλαῖος, ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις τῆς ἀπογραφῆς. καὶ ἀπέστησε λαὸν ὀπίσω αὐτοῦ, κἀκεῖνος ἀπώλετο, καί, πάντες ὅσοι ἐπείθοντο αὐτῷ διεσκορπίσθησαν. 37 After him , at the time of the census , there was Judas of {NEQ} Galilee . {NEQ} He got people to follow him , but he was killed , too , and all his followers were scattered .
Acts.6:9 9ἀνέστησαν δέ τινες τῶν ἐκ τῆς συναγωγῆς, τῆς λεγομένης Λιβερτίνων, καὶ Κυρηναίων, καὶ Ἀλεξανδρέων, καὶ τῶν ἀπὸ Κιλικίας, καὶ Ἀσίας, συζητοῦντες τῷ Στεφάνῳ· 9 But one day some men from the Synagogue of Freed Slaves , as it was {NEQ} called , started to debate with {NEQ} him . They were Jews from {NEQ} Cyrene , {NEQ} Alexandria , {NEQ} Cilicia , and the province of Asia .
Acts.7:18 18ἄχρι οὗ ἀνέστη βασιλεὺς ἕτερος ἐπ᾽ Αἴγυπτον ὃς οὐκ ᾔδει τὸν Ἰωσήφ. 18 But then a new king came to the throne of Egypt who knew nothing about {NEQ} Joseph .
Acts.7:37 37οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ Μωυσῆς ὁ εἴπας τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραήλ, Προφήτην ὑμῖν ἀναστήσει ὁ θεὸς ἐκ τῶν ἀδελφῶν ὑμῶν ὡς ἐμέ. 37 “ {NEQ} Moses himself {NEQ} {NEQ} told the people of Israel , ‘ {NEQ} God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from among your {NEQ} own people . ’  * 
Acts.8:26 26ἄγγελος δὲ κυρίου ἐλάλησεν πρὸς Φίλιππον λέγων, Ἀνάστηθι καὶ πορεύου κατὰ μεσημβρίαν ἐπὶ τὴν ὁδὸν τὴν καταβαίνουσαν ἀπὸ Ἰερουσαλὴμ εἰς Γάζαν αὕτη ἐστὶν ἔρημος. 26 As for Philip , an angel of the Lord said to him , “ Go south  *  down the {NEQ} desert road that runs from Jerusalem to Gaza {RPT} . ”
Acts.8:27 27καὶ ἀναστὰς ἐπορεύθη, καὶ ἰδοὺ ἀνὴρ Αἰθίοψ, εὐνοῦχος δυνάστης Κανδάκης βασιλίσσης Αἰθιόπων ὃς ἦν ἐπὶ πάσης τῆς γάζης αὐτῆς· ὃς ἐληλύθει προσκυνήσων εἰς Ἰερουσαλήμ, 27 So he started out , and he met {RPT} the treasurer {RPT} of Ethiopia , a eunuch of great authority under the Kandake , the queen of Ethiopia . The eunuch had gone to Jerusalem to worship ,
Acts.9:6 6ἀλλὰ ἀνάστηθι καὶ εἴσελθε εἰς τὴν πόλιν, καὶ λαληθήσεταί σοι ὅ τί σε δεῖ ποιεῖν. 6 Now get up and go into {RPT} the city , and you will be told what you must do . ”
Acts.9:11 11ὁ δὲ κύριος πρὸς αὐτόν, Ἀναστὰς πορεύθητι ἐπὶ τὴν ῥύμην τὴν καλουμένην Εὐθεῖαν, καὶ ζήτησον ἐν οἰκίᾳ Ἰούδα Σαῦλον ὀνόματι Ταρσέα· ἰδοὺ γὰρ προσεύχεται. 11 {NEQ} The Lord said {NEQ} {RPT} , “ Go over to {NEQ} Straight {NEQ} Street , to the house of Judas . When you get there , ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul . {NEQ} He is praying to me right now .
Acts.9:18 18καὶ εὐθέως ἀπέπεσαν αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ τῶν ὀφθαλμῶν ὡς λεπίδες, ἀνέβλεψέν τε· καὶ ἀναστὰς ἐβαπτίσθη. 18 Instantly something like scales fell from Saul’s {NEQ} eyes , and he regained his sight . Then he got up and was baptized .
Acts.9:34 34καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ ὁ Πέτρος, Αἰνέα, ἰᾶταί σε Ἰησοῦς Χριστός· ἀνάστηθι καὶ στρῶσον σεαυτῷ. καὶ εὐθέως ἀνέστη. 34 {NEQ} {NEQ} Peter said to him , “ Aeneas , Jesus Christ heals you ! Get up , and roll up your sleeping mat ! ” And he was healed instantly .
Acts.9:39 39ἀναστὰς δὲ Πέτρος συνῆλθεν αὐτοῖς· ὃν παραγενόμενον, ἀνήγαγον εἰς τὸ ὑπερῷον. καὶ παρέστησαν αὐτῷ πᾶσαι αἱ χῆραι κλαίουσαι καὶ ἐπιδεικνύμεναι χιτῶνας καὶ ἱμάτια ὅσα ἐποίει μετ᾽ αὐτῶν οὖσα ἡ Δορκάς. 39 So Peter returned with them ; {RPT} and as soon as he arrived , they took him to the upstairs room . {NEQ} The room was filled with {RPT} {NEQ} widows who were weeping and showing him the coats and other clothes {NEQ} Dorcas {RPT} had made for them .
Acts.9:40 40ἐκβαλὼν δὲ ἔξω πάντας ὁ Πέτρος· καὶ θεὶς τὰ γόνατα προσηύξατο. καὶ ἐπιστρέψας πρὸς τὸ σῶμα εἶπεν, Ταβειθά, ἀνάστηθι. ἡ δὲ ἤνοιξεν τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς αὐτῆς· καὶ ἰδοῦσα τὸν Πέτρον, ἀνεκάθισεν. 40 But {NEQ} Peter {NEQ} asked them all to leave the room ; then he knelt and prayed . {NEQ} Turning to the body he said , “ Get up , Tabitha . ” And she opened her {NEQ} eyes ! {NEQ} When she saw {NEQ} Peter , she sat up !
Acts.9:41 41δοὺς δὲ αὐτῇ χεῖρα ἀνέστησεν αὐτήν· φωνήσας δὲ τοὺς ἁγίους καὶ τὰς χήρας, παρέστησεν αὐτὴν ζῶσαν. 41 {NEQ} He gave her his hand and helped her up . Then he called in the widows and all the believers , and he presented her to them alive .
Acts.10:13 13καὶ ἐγένετο φωνὴ πρὸς αὐτόν, Ἀναστάς, Πέτρε· θῦσον καὶ φάγε. 13 Then a voice said to him , “ Get up , Peter ; kill and eat them . ”
Acts.10:20 20ἀλλὰ ἀναστάς, κατάβηθι, καὶ πορεύου σὺν αὐτοῖς μηδὲν διακρινόμενος· ὅτι ἐγὼ ἀπέσταλκα αὐτούς. 20 {NEQ} Get up , go downstairs , and go with them without hesitation . Don’t worry , for I have sent them . ”
Acts.10:23 23εἰσκαλεσάμενος οὖν αὐτοὺς ἐξένισεν. τῇ δὲ ἐπαύριον ἀναστὰς ἐξῆλθεν σὺν αὐτοῖς, καί τινες τῶν ἀδελφῶν τῶν ἀπὸ Ἰόππης συνῆλθαν αὐτῷ. 23 So Peter invited the men to stay for the night . {NEQ} The next day he went with them , {NEQ} accompanied by {RPT} some of the {RPT} brothers from Joppa .
Acts.10:26 26ὁ δὲ Πέτρος ἤγειρεν αὐτὸν λέγων, Ἀνάστηθι· καὶ ἐγὼ αὐτὸς ἄνθρωπός εἰμι. 26 But {NEQ} Peter pulled him up and said , “ Stand up ! I’m a human being just like you ! ”
Acts.10:41 41οὐ παντὶ τῷ λαῷ, ἀλλὰ μάρτυσι τοῖς προκεχειροτονημένοις ὑπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ. ἡμῖν οἵτινες συνεφάγομεν καὶ συνεπίομεν αὐτῷ μετὰ τὸ ἀναστῆναι αὐτὸν ἐκ νεκρῶν. 41 not to the general public ,  *  but to us whom {NEQ} God had chosen in advance to be his witnesses . We were those who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead .
Acts.11:7 7ἤκουσα δὲ καὶ φωνῆς λεγούσης μοι, Ἀναστάς, Πέτρε· θῦσον καὶ φάγε. 7 {NEQ} And I heard a voice say {RPT} , ‘ Get up , Peter ; kill and eat them . ’
Acts.11:28 28ἀναστὰς δὲ εἷς ἐξ αὐτῶν ὀνόματι ̔Άγαβος ἐσήμαινεν διὰ τοῦ πνεύματος λιμὸν μεγάλην μέλλειν ἔσεσθαι ἐφ᾽ ὅλην τὴν οἰκουμένην· (ἥτις ἐγένετο ἐπὶ Κλαυδίου.) 28 {NEQ} One of them named Agabus stood up in one of the meetings and predicted by the Spirit that a great famine was coming upon the entire Roman world . ( This was fulfilled during the reign of Claudius . )
Acts.12:7 7καὶ ἰδού, ἄγγελος κυρίου ἐπέστη, καὶ φῶς ἔλαμψεν ἐν τῷ οἰκήματι. πατάξας δὲ τὴν πλευρὰν τοῦ Πέτρου ἤγειρεν αὐτὸν λέγων, Ἀνάστα· ἐν τάχει. καὶ ἐξέπεσαν αὐτοῦ αἱ ἁλύσεις ἐκ τῶν χειρῶν. 7 Suddenly , {NEQ} there was a bright light in the cell , and an angel of the Lord stood before Peter . {NEQ} The angel struck him on the side to awaken him and said , “ Quick ! Get up ! ” And the chains fell off {RPT} his {NEQ} wrists .
Acts.13:16 16ἀναστὰς δὲ Παῦλος, καὶ κατασείσας τῇ χειρὶ εἶπεν, ̓Άνδρες Ἰσραηλεῖται, καὶ οἱ φοβούμενοι τὸν θεόν, ἀκούσατε. 16 So Paul stood , {NEQ} lifted his hand to quiet them , and started speaking . “ Men of Israel , ” he said , “ and you God-fearing Gentiles , listen to me .
Acts.13:33 33ὅτι ταύτην ὁ θεὸς ἐκπεπλήρωκεν τοῖς τέκνοις ἡμῶν ἀναστήσας Ἰησοῦν. ὡς καὶ ἐν τῷ ψαλμῷ γέγραπται τῷ δευτέρῳ· Υἱός μου εἶ σύ. ἐγὼ σήμερον γεγέννηκά σε. 33 {NEQ} and {NEQ} God has now fulfilled it for us , their descendants , by raising Jesus . This is what the second {RPT} psalm says about Jesus : ‘ You are my Son . Today I have become your Father .  *  ’
Acts.13:34 34ὅτι δὲ ἀνέστησεν αὐτὸν ἐκ νεκρῶν, μηκέτι μέλλοντα ὑποστρέφειν εἰς διαφθοράν. οὕτως εἴρηκεν ὅτι, Δώσω ὑμῖν τὰ ὅσια Δαυεὶδ τὰ πιστά. 34 For {NEQ} God had promised to raise him from the dead , not leaving him to rot in the grave . {NEQ} He said , ‘ I will give you the sacred blessings I {RPT} promised to David . ’  * 
Acts.14:10 10εἶπεν μεγάλῃ φωνῇ, Ἀνάστηθι ἐπὶ τοὺς πόδας σου ὀρθός· καὶ ἥλατο καὶ περιεπάτει. 10   So Paul called to him in a loud voice , “ Stand up {RPT} ! ” And the man jumped to his feet and started walking .
Acts.14:20 20κυκλωσάντων δὲ τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτόν, ἀναστὰς εἰσῆλθεν εἰς τὴν πόλιν. καὶ τῇ ἐπαύριον ἐξῆλθεν σὺν τῷ Βαρνάβᾳ εἰς Δέρβην. 20 But as the believers  *  gathered around him , he got up and went back into the town . {NEQ} The next day he left with {NEQ} Barnabas for Derbe .
Acts.15:7 7πολλῆς δὲ ζητήσεως γενομένης, ἀναστὰς Πέτρος εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς· ̓Άνδρες ἀδελφοί, ὑμεῖς ἐπίστασθε ὅτι ἀφ᾽ ἡμερῶν ἀρχαίων ἐν ὑμῖν ἐξελέξατο ὁ θεὸς διὰ τοῦ στόματός μου ἀκοῦσαι τὰ ἔθνη τὸν λόγον τοῦ εὐαγγελίου καὶ πιστεῦσαι. 7 At the meeting , after a long discussion , Peter stood and addressed them as follows : “ Brothers , you all know that {NEQ} God chose me from among you some time ago to preach to the Gentiles so that they could hear the Good News and believe .
Acts.17:3 3διανοίγων καὶ παρατιθέμενος ὅτι τὸν Χριστὸν ἔδει παθεῖν καὶ ἀναστῆναι ἐκ νεκρῶν. καὶ ὅτι, Οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ Χριστὸς ὁ Ἰησοῦς ὃν ἐγὼ καταγγέλλω ὑμῖν. 3 He explained the prophecies and proved that the Messiah must suffer and rise from the dead . {NEQ} He said , “ This {NEQ} Jesus {RPT} {RPT} I’m telling you about is the Messiah . ”
Acts.17:31 31καθότι ἔστησεν ἡμέραν ἐν ᾗ μέλλει κρίνειν τὴν οἰκουμένην ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ ἐν ἀνδρὶ ᾧ ὥρισεν, πίστιν παρασχὼν πᾶσιν ἀναστήσας αὐτὸν ἐκ νεκρῶν. 31 For he has set a day for {RPT} judging the world with justice by the man {RPT} he has appointed , and he proved to everyone who this is by raising him from the dead . ”
Acts.22:10 10εἶπον δέ, Τί ποιήσω, κύριε; ὁ δὲ κύριος εἶπεν πρός με, Ἀναστὰς πορεύου εἰς Δαμασκόν, κἀκεῖ σοι λαληθήσεται περὶ πάντων ὧν τέτακταί σοι ποιῆσαι. 10 “ {NEQ} I asked , ‘ What should I do , Lord ? ’ “ And the Lord told me , ‘ Get up and go into Damascus , and there you will be told everything {RPT} you are to do . ’
Acts.22:16 16καὶ νῦν τί μέλλεις; ἀναστὰς βάπτισαι· καὶ ἀπόλουσαι τὰς ἁμαρτίας σου ἐπικαλεσάμενος τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ. 16 {NEQ} {NEQ} What are you waiting for ? Get up and be baptized . {NEQ} Have your {NEQ} sins washed away by calling on the name of the Lord . ’
Acts.23:9 9ἐγένετο δὲ κραυγὴ μεγάλη. καὶ ἀναστάντες τινὲς τῶν γραμματέων τοῦ μέρους τῶν Φαρισαίων διεμάχοντο. λέγοντες, Οὐδὲν κακὸν εὑρίσκομεν ἐν τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ τούτῳ. εἰ δὲ πνεῦμα ἐλάλησεν αὐτῷ ἢ ἄγγελος. 9 So there was a great uproar . Some of the teachers of religious law who were {NEQ} Pharisees {NEQ} jumped up and began to argue forcefully . “ We see nothing wrong with {NEQ} him , ” they shouted . “ Perhaps a spirit or an angel spoke to him . ”
Acts.26:16 16ἀλλὰ ἀνάστηθι καὶ στῆθι ἐπὶ τοὺς πόδας σου· εἰς τοῦτο γὰρ ὤφθην σοι προχειρίσασθαί σε ὑπηρέτην καὶ μάρτυρα· ὧν τε εἶδές με ὧν τε ὀφθήσομαί σοι· 16 Now get to your {NEQ} feet ! For I have appeared to you to appoint you as my servant and witness . {NEQ} You are to tell the world what you have seen {RPT} and what I will show you in the future .
Acts.26:30 30ἀνέστη τε ὁ βασιλεύς, καὶ ὁ ἡγεμών, ἥ τε Βερνίκη, καὶ οἱ συνκαθήμενοι αὐτοῖς. 30 Then the king , {NEQ} the governor , Bernice , {NEQ} {NEQ} and all the others stood and left .
1Cor.10:7 7μηδὲ εἰδωλολάτραι γίνεσθε καθώς τινες αὐτῶν. ὥσπερ γέγραπται, Ἐκάθισεν ὁ λαὸς φαγεῖν καὶ πεῖν, καὶ ἀνέστησαν παίζειν. 7 or worship idols as some of them did . As the Scriptures say , “ The people celebrated with feasting and drinking , and they indulged in pagan revelry . ”  * 
Eph.5:14 14πᾶν γὰρ τὸ φανερούμενον φῶς ἐστίν. διὸ λέγει, ̓Έγειρε, ὁ καθεύδων, καὶ ἀνάστα ἐκ τῶν νεκρῶν, καὶ ἐπιφαύσει σοι ὁ Χριστός. 14 for the light makes everything visible . This is why it is said , “ Awake , O {NEQ} sleeper , {NEQ} rise up from the dead , and {NEQ} Christ will give you light . ”
1Thes.4:14 14εἰ γὰρ πιστεύομεν ὅτι Ἰησοῦς ἀπέθανεν καὶ ἀνέστη, οὕτως καὶ ὁ θεὸς τοὺς κοιμηθέντας διὰ τοῦ Ἰησοῦ ἄξει σὺν αὐτῷ. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again , we also believe that when {NEQ} Jesus returns , {NEQ} God will bring back with him the believers who have died .
