Rom.8:23 23οὐ μόνον δέ, ἀλλὰ καὶ αὐτοὶ τὴν ἀπαρχὴν τοῦ πνεύματος ἔχοντες, ἡμεῖς καὶ αὐτοὶ ἐν ἑαυτοῖς στενάζομεν υἱοθεσίαν ἀπεκδεχόμενοι, τὴν ἀπολύτρωσιν τοῦ σώματος ἡμῶν. 23 And we believers also groan , even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory , for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering . We , too , wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as his adopted children ,  *  including the new bodies he has promised us .
Rom.11:16 16εἰ δὲ ἡ ἀπαρχὴ ἁγία, καὶ τὸ φύραμα· καὶ εἰ ἡ ῥίζα ἁγία, καί, οἱ κλάδοι. 16 And since Abraham and the other patriarchs were holy , their descendants will also be holy — just as the entire batch of dough is holy because the portion given as an offering is holy . For if the roots of the tree are holy , the branches will be , too .

Jas.1:18 18βουληθεὶς ἀπεκύησεν ἡμᾶς λόγῳ ἀληθείας· εἰς τὸ εἶναι ἡμᾶς, ἀπαρχήν τινα, τῶν αὐτοῦ κτισμάτων. 18 He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word . And we , out of all creation {NEQ} , became his prized possession .  *

They have been purchased from among the people on the earth as a special offering  *  to {NEQ} God and to the Lamb .
