Rom.1:17 17δικαιοσύνη γὰρ θεοῦ ἐν αὐτῷ ἀποκαλύπτεται· ἐκ πίστεως εἰς πίστιν. καθὼς γέγραπται, Ὁ δὲ δίκαιος ἐκ πίστεως ζήσεται. 17 {NEQ} This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight . This is accomplished from start to finish by faith {RPT} . As the Scriptures say , “ {NEQ} It is through faith that a righteous person has life . ”  * 
Rom.3:5 5εἰ δέ, ἡ ἀδικία ἡμῶν θεοῦ δικαιοσύνην συνίστησιν, τί ἐροῦμεν; μὴ ἄδικος ὁ θεὸς ὁ ἐπιφέρων τὴν ὀργήν; (κατὰ ἄνθρωπον λέγω.) 5 “ But {NEQ} , ” some might say , “ our {NEQ} sinfulness serves a good purpose , for it helps people see how righteous God is . Isn’t it unfair , then , for him {RPT} to punish us ? ” ( This is merely a human point of view . )
Rom.3:21 21νυνὶ δὲ χωρὶς νόμου δικαιοσύνη θεοῦ πεφανέρωται, μαρτυρουμένη ὑπὸ τοῦ νόμου καὶ τῶν προφητῶν· 21 But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law , as was promised in the writings of Moses  *  and the prophets long ago .
Rom.3:22 22δικαιοσύνη δὲ θεοῦ διὰ πίστεως Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ· εἰς πάντας τοὺς πιστεύοντας, οὐ γάρ ἐστιν διαστολή. 22 {NEQ} We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ . And this is true for everyone who believes , {NEQ} no matter who we are .
Rom.3:25 25ὃν προέθετο ὁ θεὸς ἱλαστήριον· διὰ τῆς πίστεως, ἐν τῷ αὐτοῦ αἵματι· εἰς ἔνδειξιν τῆς δικαιοσύνης αὐτοῦ διὰ τὴν πάρεσιν τῶν προγεγονότων ἁμαρτημάτων, 25 For {NEQ} God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin . People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life , shedding his {NEQ} blood . This sacrifice shows that God {NEQ} was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past ,
Rom.3:26 26ἐν τῇ ἀνοχῇ τοῦ θεοῦ, πρὸς τὴν ἔνδειξιν τῆς δικαιοσύνης αὐτοῦ, ἐν τῷ νῦν καιρῷ· εἰς τὸ εἶναι αὐτὸν δίκαιον, καὶ δικαιοῦντα τὸν ἐκ πίστεως Ἰησοῦ. 26 for he was looking ahead and including them in what he would do in this present time . God did this to {NEQ} demonstrate his {NEQ} righteousness , for he himself is fair and just , and he declares sinners to be right in his sight when they believe in Jesus .
Rom.4:3 3τί γὰρ ἡ γραφὴ λέγει; ἐπίστευσεν δὲ Ἀβραὰμ τῷ θεῷ, καὶ ἐλογίσθη αὐτῷ εἰς δικαιοσύνην. 3 {NEQ} For the Scriptures tell us , “ {NEQ} Abraham believed {NEQ} God , and God counted him as righteous because of his faith . ”  * 
Rom.4:5 5τῷ δὲ μὴ ἐργαζομένῳ, πιστεύοντι δὲ ἐπὶ τὸν δικαιοῦντα τὸν ἀσεβῆ λογίζεται ἡ πίστις αὐτοῦ εἰς δικαιοσύνην· 5 But people {RPT} {RPT} are counted as righteous , not because of their work , but because of their faith in God who forgives sinners .
Rom.4:6 6καθάπερ καὶ Δαυεὶδ λέγει τὸν μακαρισμὸν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ᾧ ὁ θεὸς λογίζεται δικαιοσύνην χωρὶς ἔργων· 6 David also spoke of this when he described the happiness of those who {RPT} {RPT} are declared righteous without working for it :
Rom.4:9 9ὁ μακαρισμὸς οὖν οὗτος ἐπὶ τὴν περιτομήν, ἢ καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν ἀκροβυστίαν; λέγομεν γάρ, ἐλογίσθη τῷ Ἀβραὰμ ἡ πίστις εἰς δικαιοσύνην. 9 Now , is this {NEQ} blessing only for the Jews , or is it also for {NEQ} uncircumcised Gentiles ?  *  Well , we have been saying that {NEQ} Abraham was counted as righteous by God because of his faith .
Rom.4:11 11καὶ σημεῖον ἔλαβεν περιτομῆς, σφραγῖδα τῆς δικαιοσύνης τῆς πίστεως— τῆς ἐν τῇ ἀκροβυστίᾳ· εἰς τὸ εἶναι αὐτὸν πατέρα πάντων τῶν πιστευόντων δι᾽ ἀκροβυστίας· εἰς τὸ λογισθῆναι αὐτοῖς τὴν δικαιοσύνην· 11 Circumcision was {NEQ} a sign that Abraham already had {RPT} faith and that God had already accepted him and declared him to be {RPT} righteous — {RPT} even before {NEQ} he was circumcised . So Abraham is the spiritual father of those who have faith but have not been circumcised . They {NEQ} {NEQ} are counted as {NEQ} righteous because of their faith .
Rom.4:13 13οὐ γὰρ διὰ νόμου ἡ ἐπαγγελία τῷ Ἀβραὰμ ἢ τῷ σπέρματι αὐτοῦ τὸ κληρονόμον αὐτὸν εἶναι κόσμου, ἀλλὰ διὰ δικαιοσύνης πίστεως. 13 Clearly , God’s promise {RPT} to give the whole earth to {NEQ} Abraham and his {NEQ} descendants was based not on his obedience to God’s law , but on a right relationship with God that comes by faith .
Rom.4:22 22διὸ καί, ἐλογίσθη αὐτῷ εἰς δικαιοσύνην. 22 And because of Abraham’s faith , God counted him as righteous .
Rom.5:17 17εἰ γὰρ τῷ τοῦ ἑνὸς παραπτώματι, ὁ θάνατος ἐβασίλευσεν διὰ τοῦ ἑνός· πολλῷ μᾶλλον οἱ τὴν περισσείαν τῆς χάριτος καὶ τῆς δωρεᾶς τῆς δικαιοσύνης, λαμβάνοντες ἐν ζωῇ βασιλεύσουσιν διὰ τοῦ ἑνός, Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ. 17 For {NEQ} the sin of this one man , Adam , caused {NEQ} death to rule over many {RPT} {RPT} {RPT} . But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of {NEQ} righteousness , for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man , Jesus Christ .
Rom.5:21 21ἵνα ὥσπερ ἐβασίλευσεν ἡ ἁμαρτία ἐν τῷ θανάτῳ, οὕτως καὶ ἡ χάρις βασιλεύσῃ, διὰ δικαιοσύνης εἰς ζωὴν αἰώνιον διὰ Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν. 21 So just as {NEQ} sin ruled over all people and brought them to {NEQ} death , now God’s wonderful grace rules instead , giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our {NEQ} Lord .
Rom.6:13 13μηδὲ παριστάνετε τὰ μέλη ὑμῶν ὅπλα ἀδικίας τῇ ἁμαρτίᾳ· ἀλλά, παραστήσατε ἑαυτοὺς τῷ θεῷ, ὡσεὶ ἐκ νεκρῶν, ζῶντας· καὶ τὰ μέλη ὑμῶν ὅπλα δικαιοσύνης τῷ θεῷ. 13 Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve {NEQ} sin . Instead , give yourselves completely to {NEQ} God , for you were dead , but now you have new life . So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of {NEQ} God .
Rom.6:16 16οὐκ οἴδατε ὅτι ᾧ παριστάνετε ἑαυτοὺς δούλους εἰς ὑπακοήν, δοῦλοί ἐστε ᾧ ὑπακούετε, ἤτοι ἁμαρτίας εἰς θάνατον, ἢ ὑπακοῆς εἰς δικαιοσύνην; 16 Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey ? {RPT} You {RPT} can be a slave {RPT} {RPT} to sin , which leads to death , or you can choose to obey God , which leads to righteous living .
Rom.6:18 18ἐλευθερωθέντες δὲ ἀπὸ τῆς ἁμαρτίας, ἐδουλώθητε τῇ δικαιοσύνῃ. 18 Now you are free from your slavery to sin , and you have become slaves {NEQ} to righteous living .
Rom.6:19 19ἀνθρώπινον λέγω διὰ τὴν ἀσθένειαν τῆς σαρκὸς ὑμῶν· ὥσπερ γάρ, παρεστήσατε τὰ μέλη ὑμῶν δοῦλα τῇ ἀκαθαρσίᾳ καὶ τῇ ἀνομίᾳ, εἰς τὴν ἀνομίαν· οὕτω νῦν παραστήσατε τὰ μέλη ὑμῶν δοῦλα τῇ δικαιοσύνῃ εἰς ἁγιασμόν. 19 Because of the weakness of your {NEQ} human nature , I am using the illustration of slavery to help you understand all this . Previously {NEQ} , you let yourselves be slaves to {NEQ} impurity and {NEQ} lawlessness , which led ever deeper into {NEQ} sin . Now you must give yourselves to be slaves {NEQ} to righteous living so that you will become holy .
Rom.6:20 20ὅτε γὰρ δοῦλοι ἦτε τῆς ἁμαρτίας, ἐλεύθεροι ἦτε τῇ δικαιοσύνῃ. 20 {NEQ} When you were slaves to {NEQ} sin , you were free from the obligation to {NEQ} do right .
Rom.8:10 10εἰ δὲ Χριστὸς ἐν ὑμῖν, τὸ μὲν σῶμα νεκρὸν διὰ ἁμαρτίαν, τὸ δὲ πνεῦμα ζωὴ διὰ δικαιοσύνην. 10 And {NEQ} Christ lives within you , so even though your body will die because of sin , {NEQ} the Spirit gives you life  *  because you have been made right with God .
Rom.9:30 30τί οὖν ἐροῦμεν; ὅτι ἔθνη τὰ μὴ διώκοντα δικαιοσύνην κατέλαβεν δικαιοσύνην· δικαιοσύνην δὲ τὴν ἐκ πίστεως· 30 What {NEQ} does all this mean ? {NEQ} Even though the Gentiles {NEQ} were not trying to follow God’s standards , they were made right with God . And it was by {NEQ} faith that this took place .
Rom.9:31 31Ἰσραὴλ δέ, διώκων νόμον δικαιοσύνης, εἰς νόμον οὐκ ἔφθασεν. 31 But the people of Israel , who tried so hard to get right with God by keeping the law , never {NEQ} {RPT} succeeded .
Rom.10:3 3ἀγνοοῦντες γὰρ τὴν τοῦ θεοῦ δικαιοσύνην· καὶ τὴν ἰδίαν δικαιοσύνην ζητοῦντες στῆσαι, τῇ δικαιοσύνῃ τοῦ θεοῦ οὐχ ὑπετάγησαν· 3 For they don’t understand {NEQ} God’s {NEQ} way of making people right with himself . {NEQ} Refusing to accept {NEQ} God’s way , they cling to their own way of getting right with God by trying to keep the law .
Rom.10:4 4τέλος γὰρ νόμου Χριστὸς εἰς δικαιοσύνην· παντὶ τῷ πιστεύοντι. 4 For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given .  *  As a result , all who believe in him are made right with God .
Rom.10:5 5Μωυσῆς γὰρ γράφει ὅτι τὴν δικαιοσύνην τὴν ἐκ τοῦ νόμου ὁ ποιήσας ἄνθρωπος ζήσεται ἐν αὐτοῖς. 5 For Moses writes that {NEQ} the law’s {RPT} way of making a person right with God {RPT} requires obedience to all of its commands .  * 
Rom.10:6 6ἡ δὲ ἐκ πίστεως δικαιοσύνη οὕτως λέγει, Μὴ εἴπῃς ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ σου, Τίς ἀναβήσεται εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν; (τοῦτ᾽ ἔστιν Χριστὸν καταγαγεῖν.) 6 But {NEQ} {NEQ} faith’s way of getting right with God {NEQ} says , “ Don’t say in your {NEQ} heart , ‘ Who will go up to {NEQ} heaven ? ’ ( {NEQ} {NEQ} to bring Christ down to earth ) .
Rom.10:10 10καρδίᾳ γὰρ πιστεύεται εἰς δικαιοσύνην, στόματι δὲ ὁμολογεῖται εἰς σωτηρίαν. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God , and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved .
Rom.14:17 17οὐ γάρ ἐστιν ἡ βασιλεία τοῦ θεοῦ βρῶσις καὶ πόσις, ἀλλὰ δικαιοσύνη καὶ εἰρήνη καὶ χαρὰ ἐν πνεύματι ἁγίῳ. 17 For the Kingdom of {NEQ} God is not a matter of what we eat or drink , but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit .
1Cor.1:30 30ἐξ αὐτοῦ δὲ ὑμεῖς ἐστὲ ἐν Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ· ὃς ἐγενήθη σοφία ἡμῖν ἀπὸ θεοῦ· δικαιοσύνη τε, καὶ ἁγιασμός, καὶ ἀπολύτρωσις. 30 {NEQ} God has united you with Christ Jesus . For our benefit God made him to be wisdom itself . {NEQ} Christ made us right with God ; {NEQ} he made us pure and holy , and he freed us from sin .
2Cor.3:9 9εἰ γὰρ τῇ διακονίᾳ τῆς κατακρίσεως δόξα, πολλῷ μᾶλλον περισσεύει ἡ διακονία τῆς δικαιοσύνης δόξῃ. 9 If {NEQ} the old way , which brings condemnation , was glorious , how much more glorious is the new way , which makes us right with God !
2Cor.5:21 21τὸν μὴ γνόντα ἁμαρτίαν, ὑπὲρ ἡμῶν ἁμαρτίαν ἐποίησεν, ἵνα ἡμεῖς γενώμεθα δικαιοσύνη θεοῦ ἐν αὐτῷ. 21 For God made Christ , who never sinned , to be the offering for our sin ,  *  so that we could be made right with God through Christ .
2Cor.6:7 7ἐν λόγῳ ἀληθείας· ἐν δυνάμει θεοῦ· διὰ τῶν ὅπλων τῆς δικαιοσύνης— τῶν δεξιῶν καὶ ἀριστερῶν· 7 We faithfully preach the truth . God’s power is working in us . We use the weapons of {NEQ} righteousness in the right hand for attack and the left hand for defense .
2Cor.6:14 14μὴ γίνεσθε ἑτεροζυγοῦντες ἀπίστοις. τίς γὰρ μετοχὴ δικαιοσύνῃ καὶ ἀνομίᾳ; ἢ τίς κοινωνία φωτὶ πρὸς σκότος; 14 Don’t team up with those who are unbelievers . {NEQ} How can righteousness be a partner {NEQ} with wickedness ? {NEQ} How can light live with darkness ?
2Cor.9:9 9καθὼς γέγραπται, Ἐσκόρπισεν, ἔδωκεν τοῖς πένησιν· ἡ δικαιοσύνη αὐτοῦ μένει εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα· 9 As the Scriptures say , “ They share freely and give generously to the poor . Their {NEQ} good deeds will be remembered forever . ”  * 
2Cor.9:10 10ὁ δὲ ἐπιχορηγῶν σπόρον τῷ σπείροντι καὶ ἄρτον εἰς βρῶσιν, χορηγήσει καὶ πληθυνεῖ τὸν σπόρον ὑμῶν καὶ αὐξήσει τὰ γενήματα τῆς δικαιοσύνης ὑμῶν. 10 For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat . In the same way , he will provide and increase your {NEQ} resources and then produce a great harvest of {NEQ} generosity  *  in you .
2Cor.11:15 15οὐ μέγα οὖν εἰ καὶ οἱ διάκονοι αὐτοῦ μετασχηματίζονται ὡς διάκονοι δικαιοσύνης· ὧν τὸ τέλος ἔσται κατὰ τὰ ἔργα αὐτῶν. 15 So it is no wonder that his {NEQ} servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness . In the end they will get the punishment their {NEQ} wicked deeds deserve .
Gal.2:21 21οὐκ ἀθετῶ τὴν χάριν τοῦ θεοῦ· εἰ γὰρ διὰ νόμου δικαιοσύνη, ἄρα Χριστὸς δωρεὰν ἀπέθανεν. 21 I do not treat the grace of {NEQ} God as meaningless . For if keeping the law could make us right with God , then there was no need for Christ to die .
Gal.3:6 6καθώς, Ἀβραὰμ ἐπίστευσεν τῷ θεῷ, καὶ ἐλογίσθη αὐτῷ εἰς δικαιοσύνην. 6 In the same way , “ Abraham believed {NEQ} God , and God counted him as righteous because of his faith . ”  * 
Gal.3:21 21ὁ οὖν, νόμος κατὰ τῶν ἐπαγγελιῶν τοῦ θεοῦ; μὴ γένοιτο· εἰ γὰρ ἐδόθη νόμος ὁ δυνάμενος ζωοποιῆσαι, ὄντως ἐν νόμῳ ἂν ἦν ἡ δικαιοσύνη. 21 Is there a conflict , then , between God’s {NEQ} law and {NEQ} God’s {NEQ} promises ?  *  Absolutely not ! {NEQ} If the law {NEQ} could give us new life , we could be {NEQ} made right with God by obeying it .
Gal.5:5 5ἡμεῖς γὰρ πνεύματι ἐκ πίστεως ἐλπίδα δικαιοσύνης ἀπεκδεχόμεθα. 5 But we who live by the Spirit eagerly wait to receive by faith the righteousness God has promised to us .
Eph.4:24 24καὶ ἐνδύσασθαι τὸν καινὸν ἄνθρωπον, τὸν κατὰ θεὸν κτισθέντα— ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ, καὶ ὁσιότητι, τῆς ἀληθείας. 24 {NEQ} Put on your new nature , {NEQ} created to be like God — truly righteous and holy .
Eph.5:9 9ὁ γὰρ καρπὸς τοῦ φωτὸς ἐν πάσῃ ἀγαθωσύνῃ καὶ δικαιοσύνῃ καὶ ἀληθείᾳ· 9 For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true .
Eph.6:14 14στῆτε οὖν, περιζωσάμενοι τὴν ὀσφὺν ὑμῶν ἐν ἀληθείᾳ καὶ ἐνδυσάμενοι τὸν θώρακα τῆς δικαιοσύνης· 14 {NEQ} Stand your ground , putting on the belt {RPT} of truth and {RPT} the body armor of {NEQ} God’s righteousness .
Phil.1:11 11πεπληρωμένοι καρπὸν δικαιοσύνης— τόν διὰ Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ— εἰς δόξαν καὶ ἔπαινον θεοῦ. 11 May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation — the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ  *  — for this will bring much {NEQ} glory and praise to God .
Phil.3:6 6κατὰ ζῆλος διώκων τὴν ἐκκλησίαν· κατὰ δικαιοσύνην, τὴν ἐν νόμῳ γενόμενος ἄμεμπτος. 6 I was so zealous that I harshly persecuted the church . And as for righteousness , {RPT} I obeyed the law without fault .
Phil.3:9 9καὶ εὑρεθῶ ἐν αὐτῷ· μὴ ἔχων ἐμὴν δικαιοσύνην τὴν ἐκ νόμου· ἀλλά, τὴν διὰ πίστεως Χριστοῦ· τὴν ἐκ θεοῦ δικαιοσύνην ἐπὶ τῇ πίστει· 9 and become one with him . I no longer count on my own righteousness {RPT} through obeying the law ; rather , I become {RPT} righteous through faith in Christ .  *  For God’s way of making us right with himself depends on {NEQ} faith .
1Tim.6:11 11σὺ δέ, ὦ ἄνθρωπε θεοῦ· ταῦτα φεῦγε. δίωκε δὲ δικαιοσύνην εὐσέβειαν, πίστιν, ἀγάπην, ὑπομονήν, πραϋπαθίαν. 11 But you , Timothy , are a man of God ; so run from all these evil things . {NEQ} Pursue righteousness and a godly life , along with faith , love , perseverance , and gentleness .
2Tim.2:22 22τὰς δὲ νεωτερικὰς ἐπιθυμίας φεῦγε· δίωκε δέ, δικαιοσύνην, πίστιν, ἀγάπην, εἰρήνην, μετὰ τῶν ἐπικαλουμένων τὸν κύριον ἐκ καθαρᾶς καρδίας. 22 {NEQ} {NEQ} Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts . Instead , pursue righteous living , faithfulness , love , and peace . Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts .
2Tim.3:16 16πᾶσα γραφὴ θεόπνευστος καὶ ὠφέλιμος πρὸς διδασκαλίαν πρὸς ἐλεγμόν· πρὸς ἐπανόρθωσιν, πρὸς παιδείαν τὴν ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ· 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives . {RPT} It corrects us when we are wrong and {RPT} teaches us to do {NEQ} what is right .
2Tim.4:8 8λοιπὸν ἀπόκειταί μοι— ὁ τῆς δικαιοσύνης στέφανος ὃν ἀποδώσει μοι ὁ κύριος, ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ, ὁ δίκαιος κριτής· οὐ μόνον δὲ ἐμοὶ ἀλλὰ καὶ πᾶσιν τοῖς ἠγαπηκόσι τὴν ἐπιφάνειαν αὐτοῦ. 8 And now the prize awaits me — the crown of {NEQ} righteousness , which the Lord , the righteous Judge , will give me on the day of his return . And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his {NEQ} appearing .
Titus.3:5 5οὐκ ἐξ ἔργων τῶν ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ ἃ ἐποιήσαμεν ἡμεῖς, ἀλλὰ κατὰ τὸ αὐτοῦ ἔλεος, ἔσωσεν ἡμᾶς· διὰ λουτροῦ παλινγενεσίας, καὶ ἀνακαινώσεως πνεύματος ἁγίου. 5 he saved us , not because of the righteous things we {RPT} had done , but because of his {NEQ} mercy . He washed away our sins , {NEQ} giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit .  * 
Heb.1:9 9ἠγάπησας δικαιοσύνην καὶ ἐμίσησας ἀνομίαν· διὰ τοῦτο, ἔχρισέν σε ὁ θεός, ὁ θεός σου, ἔλαιον ἀγαλλιάσεως παρὰ τοὺς μετόχους σου· 9 You love justice and hate evil . Therefore , O {NEQ} God , your {NEQ} God has anointed you , pouring out the oil of joy on you more than on anyone else . ”  * 
Heb.5:13 13πᾶς γὰρ ὁ μετέχων γάλακτος ἄπειρος λόγου δικαιοσύνης νήπιος γάρ ἐστιν· 13 For someone who lives on milk {NEQ} is still an infant and doesn’t know how to do what is right .
Heb.7:2 2ᾧ καὶ δεκάτην ἀπὸ πάντων ἐμέρισεν Ἀβραάμ· πρῶτον μὲν ἑρμηνευόμενος, Βασιλεὺς δικαιοσύνης, ἔπειτα δὲ καὶ βασιλεὺς Σαλήμ ὅ ἐστιν, Βασιλεὺς εἰρήνης, 2 Then Abraham took a tenth of all he had captured in battle and gave it to Melchizedek . {NEQ} {NEQ} The name Melchizedek means “ king of justice , ” {NEQ} {NEQ} and king of Salem means “ king of peace . ”
Heb.11:7 7πίστει χρηματισθεὶς Νῶε περὶ τῶν μηδέπω βλεπομένων, εὐλαβηθεὶς κατεσκεύασεν κιβωτὸν εἰς σωτηρίαν τοῦ οἴκου αὐτοῦ· δι᾽ ἧς κατέκρινεν τὸν κόσμον, καὶ τῆς κατὰ πίστιν δικαιοσύνης ἐγένετο κληρονόμος. 7 It was by faith that Noah built a large boat to save his {NEQ} family from the flood . He obeyed God , who warned him about things that had never happened before . By his faith Noah condemned the rest of the world , and he received the righteousness that comes by {NEQ} faith .
Heb.11:33 33οἳ διὰ πίστεως κατηγωνίσαντο βασιλείας, ἠργάσαντο δικαιοσύνην, ἐπέτυχον ἐπαγγελιῶν· ἔφραξαν στόματα λεόντων, 33 By faith these people overthrew kingdoms , ruled with justice , and received what God had promised them . They shut the mouths of lions ,
Heb.12:11 11πᾶσα δὲ παιδεία πρὸς μὲν τὸ παρὸν οὐ δοκεῖ χαρᾶς εἶναι— ἀλλὰ λύπης· ὕστερον δὲ καρπὸν εἰρηνικὸν τοῖς δι᾽ αὐτῆς γεγυμνασμένοις ἀποδίδωσιν δικαιοσύνης. 11 {NEQ} No discipline is {NEQ} enjoyable while it is happening — {NEQ} it’s painful ! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way .
Jas.1:20 20ὀργὴ γὰρ ἀνδρὸς δικαιοσύνην θεοῦ οὐκ ἐργάζεται. 20 Human anger {NEQ}  *  does not produce the righteousness  *  God desires .
Jas.2:23 23καὶ ἐπληρώθη ἡ γραφὴ ἡ λέγουσα· Ἐπίστευσεν δὲ Ἀβραὰμ τῷ θεῷ, καὶ ἐλογίσθη αὐτῷ εἰς δικαιοσύνην· καὶ φίλος θεοῦ ἐκλήθη. 23 And so it happened just as the Scriptures {NEQ} say : “ {NEQ} Abraham believed {NEQ} God , and God counted him as righteous because of his faith . ”  *  He was even called the friend of God .  * 
Jas.3:18 18καρπὸς δὲ δικαιοσύνης ἐν εἰρήνῃ σπείρεται τοῖς ποιοῦσιν εἰρήνην. 18 And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness .  * 
1Pet.2:24 24ὃς τὰς ἁμαρτίας ἡμῶν αὐτὸς ἀνήνεγκεν ἐν τῷ σώματι αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὸ ξύλον ἵνα ταῖς ἁμαρτίαις ἀπογενόμενοι τῇ δικαιοσύνῃ ζήσωμεν· οὗ τῷ μώλωπι ἰάθητε. 24 He personally carried our {NEQ} sins in his {NEQ} body on the cross so that we can be dead to {NEQ} sin and live {NEQ} for what is right . By his {NEQ} wounds you are healed .
1Pet.3:14 14ἀλλ᾽ εἰ καὶ πάσχοιτε διὰ δικαιοσύνην, μακάριοι· τὸν δὲ φόβον αὐτῶν μὴ φοβηθῆτε μηδὲ ταραχθῆτε· 14 But even if you suffer for doing what is right , God will reward you for it . So don’t worry or be afraid of their {NEQ} threats .
2Pet.1:1 1Συμεὼν Πέτρος, δοῦλος καὶ ἀπόστολος Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ· τοῖς ἰσότιμον ἡμῖν λαχοῦσιν πίστιν· ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ τοῦ θεοῦ ἡμῶν καὶ σωτῆρος, Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ· 1:1 This letter is from Simon  *  Peter , a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ . I am writing to you who share the same precious faith we have . This faith was given to you because of the justice and fairness  *  of Jesus Christ , our {NEQ} God and Savior .
2Pet.2:5 5καὶ ἀρχαίου κόσμου οὐκ ἐφείσατο— ἀλλὰ ὄγδοον Νῶε δικαιοσύνης κήρυκα ἐφύλαξεν· κατακλυσμὸν κόσμῳ ἀσεβῶν ἐπάξας· 5 And God did not spare the ancient world — except for Noah and the seven others in his family . Noah warned the world of God’s righteous judgment . So God protected Noah when he destroyed the world of ungodly people with a vast flood .
2Pet.2:21 21κρεῖττον γὰρ ἦν αὐτοῖς μὴ ἐπεγνωκέναι τὴν ὁδὸν τῆς δικαιοσύνης ἢ ἐπιγνοῦσιν ὑποστρέψαι ἐκ τῆς παραδοθείσης αὐτοῖς ἁγίας ἐντολῆς. 21 {NEQ} It would be better if they had never known the way to {NEQ} righteousness than to know it and then reject the command they were given to live a holy life .
2Pet.3:13 13καινοὺς δὲ οὐρανοὺς καὶ γῆν καινὴν κατὰ τὸ ἐπάγγελμα αὐτοῦ προσδοκῶμεν, ἐν οἷς δικαιοσύνη κατοικεῖ. 13 But we are looking forward to the new heavens and new earth he has promised , a world filled with God’s righteousness .
1Jn.2:29 29ἐὰν εἰδῆτε ὅτι δίκαιός ἐστιν, γινώσκετε ὅτι καὶ πᾶς ὁ ποιῶν τὴν δικαιοσύνην ἐξ αὐτοῦ γεγέννηται. 29 Since we know that Christ is righteous , we also know that all who do {NEQ} what is right are God’s children .
1Jn.3:7 7τεκνία, μηδεὶς πλανάτω ὑμᾶς· ὁ ποιῶν τὴν δικαιοσύνην, δίκαιός ἐστιν, καθὼς ἐκεῖνος δίκαιός ἐστιν· 7 Dear children , don’t let anyone deceive you about this : When people do {NEQ} what is right , it shows that they are righteous , even as Christ is righteous .
1Jn.3:10 10ἐν τούτῳ φανερά ἐστιν τὰ τέκνα τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ τὰ τέκνα τοῦ διαβόλου. πᾶς ὁ μὴ ποιῶν δικαιοσύνην οὐκ ἔστιν ἐκ τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ ὁ μὴ ἀγαπῶν τὸν ἀδελφὸν αὐτοῦ. 10 So now we can tell who are {NEQ} children of {NEQ} God and who are {NEQ} children of the devil . Anyone who does not live righteously and does {NEQ} not love other {NEQ} believers  *  does not belong to {NEQ} God .
Rev.19:11 11καὶ εἶδον τὸν οὐρανὸν ἠνεῳγμένον, καὶ ἰδοὺ ἵππος λευκός· καὶ ὁ καθήμενος ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν πιστὸς καλούμενος καὶ ἀληθινός, καὶ ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ κρίνει καὶ πολεμεῖ. 11 Then I saw {NEQ} heaven opened , and a white horse was standing there . {NEQ} Its rider was named Faithful and True , for he judges fairly and wages a righteous war .
Rev.22:11 11ὁ ἀδικῶν ἀδικησάτω ἔτι· καὶ ὁ ῥυπαρός, ῥυπανθήτω ἔτι· καὶ ὁ δίκαιος, δικαιοσύνην ποιησάτω ἔτι· καὶ ὁ ἅγιος, ἁγιασθήτω ἔτι. 11 Let the one who is doing harm continue to do harm ; {NEQ} let the one who is vile continue to be vile ; {NEQ} let the one who is righteous continue to live righteously ; {NEQ} let the one who is holy continue to be holy . ”
