Acts.7:42 42ἔστρεψεν δὲ ὁ θεὸς καὶ παρέδωκεν αὐτοὺς λατρεύειν τῇ στρατιᾷ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ. καθὼς γέγραπται ἐν βίβλῳ τῶν προφητῶν, Μὴ σφάγια καὶ θυσίας προσηνέγκατέ μοι ἔτη τεσσεράκοντα ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ, οἶκος Ἰσραήλ; 42 Then {NEQ} God turned away from them and abandoned them to serve the stars of {NEQ} heaven as their gods ! In the book of the prophets {NEQ} it is written , ‘ Was it to me you were bringing sacrifices and offerings during those forty years in the wilderness , Israel ?
Acts.7:44 44ἡ σκηνὴ τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἦν τοῖς πατράσιν ἡμῶν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ· καθὼς διετάξατο ὁ λαλῶν τῷ Μωυσῇ ποιῆσαι αὐτὴν κατὰ τὸν τύπον ὃν ἑωράκει· 44 “ Our {NEQ} ancestors carried the Tabernacle  *  with them through the wilderness . {RPT} {RPT} It was constructed according to the plan {RPT} God had shown to {NEQ} Moses .
Acts.13:18 18καὶ ὡς τεσσερακονταετῆ χρόνον ἐτροποφόρησεν αὐτοὺς ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ. 18 He put up with them  *  through forty years of wandering in the wilderness .
Acts.21:38 38οὐκ ἄρα σὺ εἶ ὁ Αἰγύπτιος ὁ πρὸ τούτων τῶν ἡμερῶν ἀναστατώσας καὶ ἐξαγαγὼν εἰς τὴν ἔρημον τοὺς τετρακισχιλίους ἄνδρας τῶν σικαρίων; 38 “ Aren’t {NEQ} you the Egyptian who led a rebellion some {NEQ} time ago and took {NEQ} 4,000 members of the Assassins out into the desert ? ”
1Cor.10:5 5ἀλλ᾽ οὐκ ἐν τοῖς πλείοσιν αὐτῶν ηὐδόκησεν ὁ θεός, κατεστρώθησαν γὰρ ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ. 5 Yet {NEQ} God was not pleased with most of them , and their bodies were scattered in the wilderness .
Heb.3:8 8μὴ σκληρύνητε τὰς καρδίας ὑμῶν ὡς ἐν τῷ παραπικρασμῷ, κατὰ τὴν ἡμέραν τοῦ πειρασμοῦ ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ· 8 don’t harden your {NEQ} hearts as Israel did when {NEQ} they rebelled , when they {NEQ} tested me in the wilderness .
Heb.3:17 17τίσιν δὲ προσώχθισεν τεσσεράκοντα ἔτη; οὐχὶ τοῖς ἁμαρτήσασιν, ὧν τὰ κῶλα ἔπεσεν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ; 17 And who made God angry for forty years ? Wasn’t it the people who sinned , whose {NEQ} corpses lay in the wilderness ?
Rev.12:6 6καὶ ἡ γυνὴ ἔφυγεν εἰς τὴν ἔρημον, ὅπου ἔχει ἐκεῖ τόπον ἡτοιμασμένον ἀπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ ἵνα ἐκεῖ τρέφωσιν αὐτὴν ἡμέρας χιλίας διακοσίας ἑξήκοντα. 6 And the woman fled into the wilderness , where {NEQ} God {RPT} {NEQ} had prepared a place to {RPT} care for her for 1,260 days .
Rev.12:14 14καὶ ἐδόθησαν τῇ γυναικὶ αἱ δύο πτέρυγες τοῦ ἀετοῦ τοῦ μεγάλου ἵνα πέτηται εἰς τὴν ἔρημον εἰς τὸν τόπον αὐτῆς· ὅπου τρέφεται ἐκεῖ καιρόν, καὶ καιρούς, καὶ ἥμισυ καιροῦ ἀπὸ προσώπου τοῦ ὄφεως. 14 But she was given two {NEQ} wings like those of a {RPT} great eagle so she could fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness . {RPT} There she would be cared for and protected from the dragon  *  for a time , {NEQ} times , and half a time .
Rev.17:3 3καὶ ἀπήνεγκέν με εἰς ἔρημον ἐν πνεύματι. καὶ εἶδον γυναῖκα καθημένην ἐπὶ θηρίον κόκκινον γέμοντα ὀνόματα βλασφημίας, ἔχων κεφαλὰς ἑπτὰ καὶ κέρατα δέκα· 3 So the angel took me in the Spirit  *  into the wilderness . There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that had seven heads and ten horns , and blasphemies against God were written all over it .
