Rom.9:11 11μήπω γὰρ γεννηθέντων, μηδὲ πραξάντων τι ἀγαθὸν ἢ φαῦλον, (ἵνα ἡ κατ᾽ ἐκλογὴν πρόθεσις τοῦ θεοῦ μένῃ· 11 But before they were born , before they had done anything good or bad , she received a message from God . ( This message shows that {NEQ} God chooses people according to his own purposes ;
Rom.11:5 5οὕτως οὖν καὶ ἐν τῷ νῦν καιρῷ, λεῖμμα κατ᾽ ἐκλογὴν χάριτος γέγονεν· 5 It is the same today , for a few of the people of Israel  *  have remained faithful because of God’s grace — his undeserved kindness in choosing them .
Rom.11:7 7τί οὖν; ὃ ἐπιζητεῖ Ἰσραὴλ τοῦτο οὐκ ἐπέτυχεν— ἡ δὲ ἐκλογὴ ἐπέτυχεν— οἱ δὲ λοιποὶ ἐπωρώθησαν. 7 So this is the situation : {RPT} Most of the people of Israel have not found the favor of God they are looking for so earnestly . A few have — {NEQ} the ones God has chosen — but the hearts of the rest were hardened .
Rom.11:28 28κατὰ μὲν τὸ εὐαγγέλιον ἐχθροί, δι᾽ ὑμᾶς· κατὰ δὲ τὴν ἐκλογὴν ἀγαπητοὶ διὰ τοὺς πατέρας· 28 Many of the people of Israel are now enemies of the Good News , and this benefits you Gentiles . Yet they are still the people he loves because he chose their ancestors Abraham , Isaac , and Jacob .
1Thes.1:4 4εἰδότες, ἀδελφοί, ἠγαπημένοι ὑπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ τὴν ἐκλογὴν ὑμῶν· 4 We know , dear brothers and sisters ,  *  that {NEQ} God loves you and has chosen you to be his own people .
2Pet.1:10 10διὸ μᾶλλον, ἀδελφοί, σπουδάσατε βεβαίαν ὑμῶν τὴν κλῆσιν καὶ ἐκλογὴν ποιεῖσθαι· ταῦτα γὰρ ποιοῦντες, οὐ μὴ πταίσητέ ποτε. 10 So , dear brothers and sisters ,  *  work hard to prove that you really are among those God has {NEQ} called and chosen . Do {NEQ} these things , and you will never fall away .
