Acts.23:3 3τότε ὁ Παῦλος πρὸς αὐτὸν εἶπεν, Τύπτειν σε μέλλει ὁ θεός, τοῖχε κεκονιαμένε. καὶ σὺ κάθῃ κρίνων με κατὰ τὸν νόμον καὶ παρανομῶν κελεύεις με τύπτεσθαι; 3 But {NEQ} Paul said to him , “ {NEQ} God will slap you , you corrupt hypocrite !  *  {NEQ} What kind of judge are {RPT} you to break the law yourself by ordering me struck like that ? ”
1Cor.14:30 30ἐὰν δὲ ἄλλῳ ἀποκαλυφθῇ καθημένῳ, ὁ πρῶτος σιγάτω. 30 But if someone is prophesying and another person {NEQ} receives a revelation from the Lord , the one who is speaking must stop .
Col.3:1 1εἰ οὖν συνηγέρθητε τῷ Χριστῷ, τὰ ἄνω ζητεῖτε, οὗ ὁ Χριστός ἐστιν ἐν δεξιᾷ τοῦ θεοῦ καθήμενος· 3:1 Since you have been raised to new life with {NEQ} Christ , set your sights on the realities of heaven , where {NEQ} Christ sits in the place of honor at {NEQ} God’s right hand .
Heb.1:13 13πρὸς τίνα δὲ τῶν ἀγγέλων εἴρηκέν ποτε, Κάθου ἐκ δεξιῶν μου ἕως ἂν θῶ τοὺς ἐχθρούς σου, ὑποπόδιον τῶν ποδῶν σου; 13 And God never said to any of the angels , “ Sit in the place of honor at my right hand until I humble your {NEQ} enemies , making them a footstool under your {NEQ} feet . ”  * 
Jas.2:3 3ἐπιβλέψητε δὲ ἐπὶ τὸν φοροῦντα τὴν ἐσθῆτα τὴν λαμπρὰν καὶ εἴπητε, Σὺ κάθου ὧδε καλῶς, καὶ τῷ πτωχῷ εἴπητε, Σὺ στῆθι ἢ κάθου ἐκεῖ ὑπὸ τὸ ὑποπόδιόν μου— 3 {NEQ} If you give special attention {RPT} and {RPT} a good seat {RPT} to the rich person {RPT} {RPT} , but you say to the poor one , “ You can stand over there , or else sit on the floor {RPT} ” — well ,
Rev.4:2 2εὐθέως ἐγενόμην ἐν πνεύματι, καὶ ἰδοὺ θρόνος ἔκειτο ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν θρόνον καθήμενος. 2 And instantly I was in the Spirit ,  *  and I saw a throne in {NEQ} heaven and someone sitting on it .
Rev.4:3 3καὶ ὁ καθήμενος ὅμοιος ὁράσει λίθῳ— ἰάσπιδι καὶ σαρδίῳ· καὶ ἶρις κυκλόθεν τοῦ θρόνου ὅμοιος ὁράσει σμαραγδίνῳ· 3 {NEQ} The one sitting on the throne was as brilliant as gemstones — like jasper and carnelian . And the glow of an emerald circled his throne like a rainbow .
Rev.4:4 4καὶ κυκλόθεν τοῦ θρόνου θρόνους εἴκοσι τέσσαρες, καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς θρόνους εἴκοσι τέσσαρας πρεσβυτέρους· καθημένους περιβεβλημένους ἱματίοις λευκοῖς καὶ ἐπὶ τὰς κεφαλὰς αὐτῶν στεφάνους χρυσοῦς. 4 {NEQ} Twenty-four thrones surrounded him , and twenty-four elders sat on them . They were all clothed in white and had gold crowns on their {NEQ} heads .
Rev.4:9 9καὶ ὅταν δώσουσιν τὰ ζῷα δόξαν καὶ τιμὴν καὶ εὐχαριστίαν τῷ καθημένῳ ἐπὶ τοῦ θρόνου (τῷ ζῶντι εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων), 9 {NEQ} Whenever the living beings give glory and honor and thanks to the one sitting on the throne ( the one who lives forever and ever ) ,
Rev.4:10 10πεσοῦνται οἱ εἴκοσι τέσσαρες πρεσβύτεροι ἐνώπιον τοῦ καθημένου ἐπὶ τοῦ θρόνου καὶ προσκυνήσουσιν (τῷ ζῶντι εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων)· καὶ βαλοῦσιν τοὺς στεφάνους αὐτῶν ἐνώπιον τοῦ θρόνου λέγοντες, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down and worship {RPT} the one sitting on the throne ( the one who lives forever and ever ) . And they lay their {NEQ} crowns before the throne and say ,
Rev.5:1 1καὶ εἶδον ἐπὶ τὴν δεξιὰν τοῦ καθημένου ἐπὶ τοῦ θρόνου· βιβλίον γεγραμμένον ἔσωθεν καὶ ὄπισθεν, κατεσφραγισμένον σφραγῖσιν ἑπτά. 5:1 Then I saw a scroll  *  in the right hand of the one who was sitting on the throne . There was writing on the inside and the outside of the scroll , and it was sealed with seven seals .
Rev.5:7 7καὶ ἦλθεν καὶ εἴληφεν ἐκ τῆς δεξιᾶς τοῦ καθημένου ἐπὶ τοῦ θρόνου. 7 {NEQ} He stepped forward and took the scroll from the right hand of the one sitting on the throne .
Rev.5:13 13καὶ πᾶν κτίσμα ὃ ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς καὶ ὑποκάτω τῆς γῆς καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς θαλάσσης· καὶ τὰ ἐν αὐτοῖς πάντα ἤκουσα λέγοντας· Τῷ καθημένῳ ἐπὶ τῷ θρόνῳ καὶ τῷ ἀρνίῳ ἡ εὐλογία καὶ ἡ τιμὴ καὶ ἡ δόξα καὶ τὸ κράτος εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων. 13 And then I heard every creature {RPT} in {NEQ} heaven and on {NEQ} earth and under the earth and in the sea {NEQ} {NEQ} {NEQ} {RPT} {RPT} . They sang : “ {RPT} Blessing and {RPT} honor and {RPT} glory and {NEQ} power belong to the one sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever . ”
Rev.6:2 2καὶ εἶδον καὶ ἰδοὺ ἵππος λευκός· καὶ ὁ καθήμενος ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν ἔχων τόξον, καὶ ἐδόθη αὐτῷ στέφανος. καὶ ἐξῆλθεν νικῶν καὶ ἵνα νικήσῃ. 2 I looked up and saw a white horse standing there . {NEQ} Its rider carried a bow , and a crown was placed on his head . {NEQ} He rode out to win many battles and gain the victory .
Rev.6:4 4καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ἄλλος ἵππος, πυρρός· καὶ τῷ καθημένῳ ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν ἐδόθη αὐτῷ λαβεῖν τὴν εἰρήνην ἐκ τῆς γῆς· καὶ ἵνα ἀλλήλους σφάξουσιν καὶ ἐδόθη αὐτῷ μάχαιρα μεγάλη. 4 Then another horse appeared , a red one . {NEQ} Its rider {NEQ} was given {RPT} a mighty sword and the authority to take {RPT} {NEQ} peace from the earth . And {NEQ} there was war and slaughter everywhere .
Rev.6:5 5καὶ ὅτε ἤνοιξε τὴν σφραγῖδα τὴν τρίτην, ἤκουσα τοῦ τρίτου ζῴου λέγοντος, ̓Έρχου. καὶ εἶδον καὶ ἰδοὺ ἵππος μέλας, καὶ ὁ καθήμενος ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν ἔχων ζυγὸν ἐν τῇ χειρὶ αὐτοῦ. 5 When the Lamb broke the {RPT} third seal , I heard the third living being say , “ Come ! ” {NEQ} I looked up and saw a black horse , and its rider was holding a pair of scales in his {NEQ} hand .
Rev.6:8 8καὶ εἶδον καὶ ἰδοὺ ἵππος χλωρός· καὶ ὁ καθήμενος ἐπάνω αὐτοῦ ὄνομα αὐτῷ ὁ θάνατος, καὶ ὁ ᾅδης ἠκολούθει μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ. καὶ ἐδόθη αὐτοῖς ἐξουσία ἐπὶ τὸ τέταρτον τῆς γῆς, ἀποκτεῖναι ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ καὶ ἐν λιμῷ καὶ ἐν θανάτῳ καὶ ὑπὸ τῶν θηρίων τῆς γῆς. 8 I looked up and saw a horse whose color was pale green . {NEQ} Its rider was named {NEQ} Death , and his companion was the Grave .  *  {NEQ} These two were given authority over one-fourth of the earth , to kill with the sword and {RPT} famine and {RPT} disease  *  and {NEQ} wild animals .
Rev.6:16 16καὶ λέγουσιν τοῖς ὄρεσιν καὶ ταῖς πέτραις, Πέσετε ἐφ᾽ ἡμᾶς καὶ κρύψατε ἡμᾶς ἀπὸ προσώπου τοῦ καθημένου ἐπὶ τοῦ θρόνου καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς ὀργῆς τοῦ ἀρνίου· 16 And they cried to the mountains and the rocks , “ Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb .
Rev.7:10 10καὶ κράζουσι φωνῇ μεγάλῃ λέγοντες, Ἡ σωτηρία τῷ θεῷ ἡμῶν τῷ καθημένῳ ἐπὶ τῷ θρόνῳ καὶ τῷ ἀρνίῳ. 10 And they were shouting with a great roar , “ {NEQ} Salvation comes from our {NEQ} God who sits on the throne and from the Lamb ! ”
Rev.7:15 15διὰ τοῦτό εἰσιν ἐνώπιον τοῦ θρόνου τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ λατρεύουσιν αὐτῷ ἡμέρας καὶ νυκτὸς ἐν τῷ ναῷ αὐτοῦ. καὶ ὁ καθήμενος ἐπὶ τοῦ θρόνου σκηνώσει ἐπ᾽ αὐτούς. 15 “ That is why they stand in front of {RPT} God’s {RPT} throne and serve him day and night in his {NEQ} Temple . And he who sits on the throne will give them shelter .
Rev.9:17 17καὶ οὕτως, εἶδον τοὺς ἵππους ἐν τῇ ὁράσει καὶ τοὺς καθημένους ἐπ᾽ αὐτῶν· ἔχοντας θώρακας πυρίνους καὶ ὑακινθίνους καὶ θειώδεις· καὶ αἱ κεφαλαὶ τῶν ἵππων ὡς κεφαλαὶ λεόντων, καὶ ἐκ τῶν στομάτων αὐτῶν ἐκπορεύεται πῦρ καὶ καπνὸς καὶ θεῖον· 17 And in my vision , I saw the horses and the riders sitting on them . The riders wore armor that was fiery red and dark blue and yellow . {NEQ} The horses had {NEQ} heads like {RPT} lions , and fire and smoke and burning sulfur billowed from {NEQ} their mouths .
Rev.11:16 16καὶ οἱ εἴκοσι τέσσαρες πρεσβύτεροι οἱ ἐνώπιον τοῦ θεοῦ καθήμενοι ἐπὶ τοὺς θρόνους αὐτῶν ἔπεσαν ἐπὶ τὰ πρόσωπα αὐτῶν καὶ προσεκύνησαν τῷ θεῷ. 16 {NEQ} The twenty-four elders {NEQ} sitting on their {NEQ} thrones before {NEQ} God fell with their {NEQ} faces to the ground and worshiped {NEQ} him .
Rev.14:6 6καὶ εἶδον ἄλλον ἄγγελον πετόμενον ἐν μεσουρανήματι, ἔχοντα εὐαγγέλιον αἰώνιον εὐαγγελίσαι ἐπὶ τοὺς καθημένους ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς— καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶν ἔθνος, καὶ φυλήν, καὶ γλῶσσαν, καὶ λαόν. 6 And I saw another angel flying through the sky , carrying the eternal Good News to proclaim to the people who belong to this world — {NEQ} to every nation , {NEQ} tribe , {NEQ} language , and people .
Rev.14:14 14καὶ εἶδον καὶ ἰδοὺ νεφέλη λευκὴ καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν νεφέλην καθήμενον ὅμοιον υἱὸν ἀνθρώπου· ἔχων ἐπὶ τῆς κεφαλῆς αὐτοῦ στέφανον χρυσοῦν καὶ ἐν τῇ χειρὶ αὐτοῦ δρέπανον ὀξύ. 14 Then I saw {NEQ} {NEQ} a white cloud , and seated on the cloud was someone like the Son of Man .  *  He had a gold crown on his {NEQ} head and a sharp sickle in his {NEQ} hand .
Rev.14:15 15καὶ ἄλλος ἄγγελος ἐξῆλθεν ἐκ τοῦ ναοῦ κράζων ἐν φωνῇ μεγάλῃ τῷ καθημένῳ ἐπὶ τῆς νεφέλης, Πέμψον τὸ δρέπανόν σου καὶ θέρισον, ὅτι ἦλθεν ἡ ὥρα θερίσαι· ὅτι ἐξηράνθη ὁ θερισμὸς τῆς γῆς. 15 Then another angel came from the Temple and shouted to the one sitting on the cloud , “ Swing the sickle {RPT} {NEQ} {RPT} , for the time of harvest has come ; {NEQ} the crop on {NEQ} earth is ripe . ”
Rev.14:16 16καὶ ἔβαλεν ὁ καθήμενος ἐπὶ τῆς νεφέλης τὸ δρέπανον αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν, καὶ ἐθερίσθη ἡ γῆ. 16 So the one sitting on the cloud swung his {NEQ} sickle over the earth , and the whole earth was harvested .
Rev.17:1 1καὶ ἦλθεν εἷς ἐκ τῶν ἑπτὰ ἀγγέλων τῶν ἐχόντων τὰς ἑπτὰ φιάλας καὶ ἐλάλησεν μετ᾽ ἐμοῦ· λέγων, Δεῦρο, δείξω σοι τὸ κρίμα τῆς πόρνης τῆς μεγάλης τῆς καθημένης ἐπὶ ὑδάτων πολλῶν· 17:1 One of the seven angels who had poured out the seven bowls {NEQ} came over and spoke to me . “ Come with me , ” he said , “ and I will show you the judgment that is going to come on the {RPT} great prostitute , who {RPT} rules over many waters .
Rev.17:3 3καὶ ἀπήνεγκέν με εἰς ἔρημον ἐν πνεύματι. καὶ εἶδον γυναῖκα καθημένην ἐπὶ θηρίον κόκκινον γέμοντα ὀνόματα βλασφημίας, ἔχων κεφαλὰς ἑπτὰ καὶ κέρατα δέκα· 3 So the angel took me in the Spirit  *  into the wilderness . There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that had seven heads and ten horns , and blasphemies against God were written all over it .
Rev.17:9 9ὧδε ὁ νοῦς ὁ ἔχων σοφίαν· αἱ ἑπτὰ κεφαλαὶ ἑπτὰ ὄρη εἰσὶν ὅπου ἡ γυνὴ κάθηται ἐπ᾽ αὐτῶν· καὶ βασιλεῖς ἑπτά εἰσιν. 9 “ This calls for a mind {RPT} with understanding : The seven heads of the beast represent the seven hills where the woman rules {RPT} . They also represent seven kings .
Rev.17:15 15καὶ λέγει μοι, Τὰ ὕδατα ἃ εἶδες οὗ ἡ πόρνη κάθηται λαοὶ καὶ ὄχλοι εἰσὶν καὶ ἔθνη καὶ γλῶσσαι. 15 Then the angel said to me , “ The waters {RPT} {NEQ} where the prostitute is ruling represent masses of people {NEQ} of every nation and language .
Rev.18:7 7ὅσα ἐδόξασεν αὑτὴν καὶ ἐστρηνίασεν, τοσοῦτον δότε αὐτῇ βασανισμὸν καὶ πένθος. ὅτι ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ αὐτῆς λέγει ὅτι, Κάθημαι βασίλισσα· καὶ χήρα οὐκ εἰμί, καὶ πένθος οὐ μὴ ἴδω· 7 {RPT} She glorified herself and lived in luxury , so match it now with {RPT} torment and sorrow . {NEQ} She boasted in her {NEQ} heart , ‘ I am queen on my throne . {NEQ} I am no helpless widow , and I have no reason to mourn . ’
Rev.19:4 4καὶ ἔπεσαν οἱ πρεσβύτεροι οἱ εἴκοσι τέσσαρες καὶ τὰ τέσσερα ζῷα καὶ προσεκύνησαν τῷ θεῷ, τῷ καθημένῳ ἐπὶ τῷ θρόνῳ. λέγοντες· Ἀμήν. ἁλληλουϊά. 4 Then the {RPT} twenty-four elders and the four living beings fell down and worshiped {NEQ} God , who was sitting on the throne . They cried out , “ Amen ! Praise the LORD ! ”
Rev.19:11 11καὶ εἶδον τὸν οὐρανὸν ἠνεῳγμένον, καὶ ἰδοὺ ἵππος λευκός· καὶ ὁ καθήμενος ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν πιστὸς καλούμενος καὶ ἀληθινός, καὶ ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ κρίνει καὶ πολεμεῖ. 11 Then I saw {NEQ} heaven opened , and a white horse was standing there . {NEQ} Its rider was named Faithful and True , for he judges fairly and wages a righteous war .
Rev.19:18 18ἵνα φάγητε σάρκας βασιλέων, καὶ σάρκας χιλιάρχων, καὶ σάρκας ἰσχυρῶν· καὶ σάρκας ἵππων καὶ τῶν καθημένων ἐπ᾽ αὐτούς· καὶ σάρκας πάντων, ἐλευθέρων τε καὶ δούλων, καὶ μικρῶν καὶ μεγάλων. 18 Come and eat the flesh of kings , {RPT} {RPT} generals , and {RPT} strong warriors ; {RPT} {RPT} of horses and their {NEQ} riders ; and {RPT} of all humanity , both free and slave , {NEQ} small and great . ”
Rev.19:19 19καὶ εἶδον τὸ θηρίον καὶ τοὺς βασιλεῖς τῆς γῆς καὶ τὰ στρατεύματα αὐτῶν συνηγμένα ποιῆσαι τὸν πόλεμον μετὰ τοῦ καθημένου ἐπὶ τοῦ ἵππου καὶ μετὰ τοῦ στρατεύματος αὐτοῦ. 19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the world and their {NEQ} armies gathered together to fight against the one sitting on the horse and his {NEQ} army .
Rev.19:21 21καὶ οἱ λοιποὶ ἀπεκτάνθησαν ἐν τῇ ῥομφαίᾳ τοῦ καθημένου ἐπὶ τοῦ ἵππου τῇ ἐξελθούσῃ ἐκ τοῦ στόματος αὐτοῦ· καὶ πάντα τὰ ὄρνεα ἐχορτάσθησαν ἐκ τῶν σαρκῶν αὐτῶν. 21 {NEQ} Their entire army was killed by the sharp sword that came from {RPT} the mouth {RPT} of the one riding the white horse . And the vultures all gorged themselves on the dead bodies .
Rev.20:11 11καὶ εἶδον θρόνον μέγαν λευκὸν καὶ τὸν καθήμενον ἐπ᾽ αὐτόν· οὗ ἀπὸ τοῦ προσώπου ἔφυγεν ἡ γῆ καὶ ὁ οὐρανός, καὶ τόπος οὐχ εὑρέθη αὐτοῖς. 11 And I saw a great white throne and the one sitting on it . The earth and {NEQ} sky fled from his {NEQ} presence , but they found no place to hide .
Rev.21:5 5καὶ εἶπεν ὁ καθήμενος ἐπὶ τῷ θρόνῳ, Ἰδού, καινὰ ποιῶ πάντα. καὶ λέγει, Γράψον, ὅτι οὗτοι οἱ λόγοι πιστοὶ καὶ ἀληθινοί εἰσιν. 5 And the one sitting on the throne said , “ Look , I am making everything new ! ” And then he said to me , “ Write this down , for what I tell you is trustworthy and true . ”
