For there will be disaster in the land and great anger against this {NEQ} people .
John.3:36 36ὁ πιστεύων εἰς τὸν υἱὸν ἔχει ζωὴν αἰώνιον· ὁ δὲ ἀπειθῶν τῷ υἱῷ οὐκ ὄψεται ζωὴν ἀλλ᾽ ἡ ὀργὴ τοῦ θεοῦ μένει ἐπ᾽ αὐτόν. 36 And anyone who believes in God’s {NEQ} Son has eternal life . {NEQ} Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under {NEQ} God’s {NEQ} angry judgment {RPT} . ”
Rom.1:18 18ἀποκαλύπτεται γὰρ ὀργὴ θεοῦ ἀπ᾽ οὐρανοῦ ἐπὶ πᾶσαν ἀσέβειαν, καὶ ἀδικίαν ἀνθρώπων τῶν τὴν ἀλήθειαν ἐν ἀδικίᾳ κατεχόντων, 18 But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful , {NEQ} wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness .  * 
Rom.2:5 5κατὰ δὲ τὴν σκληρότητά σου καὶ ἀμετανόητον καρδίαν, θησαυρίζεις σεαυτῷ ὀργήν· ἐν ἡμέρᾳ ὀργῆς, καὶ ἀποκαλύψεως δικαιοκρισίας τοῦ θεοῦ. 5 But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin , you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself . For a day of anger is coming , when {NEQ} God’s righteous judgment will be revealed .
Rom.2:8 8τοῖς δὲ ἐξ ἐριθείας καὶ ἀπειθοῦσι τῇ ἀληθείᾳ, πειθομένοις δὲ τῇ ἀδικίᾳ ὀργὴ καὶ θυμός. 8 But he will pour out his anger and wrath on those who live for themselves , who {NEQ} refuse to obey the truth and instead live lives of {NEQ} wickedness .
Rom.3:5 5εἰ δέ, ἡ ἀδικία ἡμῶν θεοῦ δικαιοσύνην συνίστησιν, τί ἐροῦμεν; μὴ ἄδικος ὁ θεὸς ὁ ἐπιφέρων τὴν ὀργήν; (κατὰ ἄνθρωπον λέγω.) 5 “ But {NEQ} , ” some might say , “ our {NEQ} sinfulness serves a good purpose , for it helps people see how righteous God is . Isn’t it unfair , then , for him {RPT} to punish us ? ” ( This is merely a human point of view . )
Rom.4:15 15ὁ γὰρ νόμος ὀργὴν κατεργάζεται· (οὗ δὲ οὐκ ἔστιν νόμος οὐδὲ παράβασις.) 15 For the law always brings punishment on those who try to obey it . ( The only way to avoid breaking the law is to have no law to break ! )
Rom.5:9 9πολλῷ οὖν μᾶλλον δικαιωθέντες νῦν ἐν τῷ αἵματι αὐτοῦ, σωθησόμεθα δι᾽ αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ τῆς ὀργῆς. 9 And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ , he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation .
Rom.9:22 22εἰ δέ, θέλων ὁ θεὸς ἐνδείξασθαι τὴν ὀργὴν καὶ γνωρίσαι τὸ δυνατὸν αὐτοῦ, ἤνεγκεν ἐν πολλῇ μακροθυμίᾳ σκεύη ὀργῆς, κατηρτισμένα εἰς ἀπώλειαν. 22 In the same way , even though {NEQ} God has the right to show his anger and his {RPT} {NEQ} power , he is very patient with those on whom his anger falls , who are destined for destruction .
Rom.12:19 19μὴ ἑαυτοὺς ἐκδικοῦντες, ἀγαπητοί· ἀλλὰ δότε τόπον τῇ ὀργῇ· γέγραπται γάρ, Ἐμοὶ ἐκδίκησις· ἐγὼ ἀνταποδώσω, λέγει κύριος. 19 Dear friends , never take revenge . {NEQ} Leave that to the righteous anger of God . For the Scriptures say , “ I will take revenge ; I will pay them back , ”  *  says the LORD .
Rom.13:4 4θεοῦ γὰρ διάκονός ἐστιν, σοὶ εἰς τὸ ἀγαθόν. ἐὰν δὲ τὸ κακὸν ποιῇς, φοβοῦ, οὐ γὰρ εἰκῇ τὴν μάχαιραν φορεῖ. θεοῦ γὰρ διάκονός ἐστιν, ἔκδικος εἰς ὀργὴν τῷ τὸ κακὸν πράσσοντι. 4 {NEQ} The authorities are God’s servants , sent for your {NEQ} good . But if you are doing {NEQ} wrong , of course you should be afraid , for they have the power to punish you . {NEQ} They are God’s servants , sent for the very purpose of punishing those who do what is wrong .
Rom.13:5 5διὸ ἀνάγκη ὑποτάσσεσθαι, οὐ μόνον διὰ τὴν ὀργήν, ἀλλὰ καὶ διὰ τὴν συνείδησιν. 5 So you must submit to them , not only to avoid {NEQ} punishment , but also to keep a clear conscience .
Eph.2:3 3ἐν οἷς καὶ ἡμεῖς πάντες ἀνεστράφημέν ποτε, ἐν ταῖς ἐπιθυμίαις τῆς σαρκὸς ἡμῶν ποιοῦντες τὰ θελήματα τῆς σαρκὸς καὶ τῶν διανοιῶν· καὶ ἤμεθα τέκνα φύσει ὀργῆς, ὡς καὶ οἱ λοιποί· 3 {NEQ} {RPT} All of us used to live that way , following the passionate desires and {NEQ} inclinations of {NEQ} our {NEQ} sinful nature . {NEQ} By our very nature we were subject to God’s anger , just like everyone else .
Eph.4:31 31πᾶσα πικρία, καὶ θυμός, καὶ ὀργή, καὶ κραυγή, καὶ βλασφημία ἀρθήτω, ἀφ᾽ ὑμῶν σὺν πάσῃ κακίᾳ. 31 Get rid of {NEQ} {RPT} all bitterness , {NEQ} rage , {NEQ} anger , {NEQ} harsh words , and slander , as well as all types of evil behavior .
Eph.5:6 6μηδεὶς ὑμᾶς ἀπατάτω κενοῖς λόγοις, διὰ ταῦτα γὰρ ἔρχεται ἡ ὀργὴ τοῦ θεοῦ ἐπὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς τῆς ἀπειθείας. 6 Don’t {RPT} be fooled by those who try to excuse {NEQ} these sins , for the anger of {NEQ} God will fall on all who disobey him .
Col.3:6 6δι᾽ ἅ, ἔρχεται ἡ ὀργὴ τοῦ θεοῦ· 6 Because of these sins , the anger of {NEQ} God is coming .  *

He is the one who has rescued us from the terrors of the coming judgment .
1Thes.2:16 16κωλυόντων ἡμᾶς τοῖς ἔθνεσιν λαλῆσαι ἵνα σωθῶσιν· εἰς τὸ ἀναπληρῶσαι αὐτῶν τὰς ἁμαρτίας πάντοτε. ἔφθασεν δὲ ἐπ᾽ αὐτοὺς ἡ ὀργὴ εἰς τέλος. 16 as they try to keep us from preaching the Good News of {NEQ} salvation to the Gentiles . By doing this , they continue to pile up their {NEQ} sins . But the anger of God has caught up with them at last .
1Thes.5:9 9ὅτι οὐκ ἔθετο ἡμᾶς ὁ θεὸς εἰς ὀργήν, ἀλλὰ εἰς περιποίησιν σωτηρίας διὰ τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ· 9 For {NEQ} God chose {NEQ} to save us through our {NEQ} Lord Jesus Christ , not to pour out his anger on us .

Heb.3:11 11ὡς ὤμοσα ἐν τῇ ὀργῇ μου· Εἰ εἰσελεύσονται εἰς τὴν κατάπαυσίν μου. 11 So in my {NEQ} anger I took an oath : ‘ They will never enter {RPT} my {NEQ} place of rest . ’ ”  * 
Heb.4:3 3εἰσερχόμεθα γὰρ εἰς τὴν κατάπαυσιν οἱ πιστεύσαντες· καθώς, εἴρηκεν, Ὡς ὤμοσα ἐν τῇ ὀργῇ μου· εἰ εἰσελεύσονται εἰς τὴν κατάπαυσίν μου, καίτοι τῶν ἔργων ἀπὸ καταβολῆς κόσμου γενηθέντων. 3 For only we who believe can enter {RPT} his {NEQ} rest . As for the others , God said , “ In my {NEQ} anger {NEQ} I took an oath : ‘ They will never enter {RPT} my place of {NEQ} rest , ’ ”  *  even though this rest has been ready since he made the world .
Jas.1:19 19ἴστε, ἀδελφοί μου ἀγαπητοί· ἔστω δὲ πᾶς ἄνθρωπος ταχὺς εἰς τὸ ἀκοῦσαι, βραδὺς εἰς τὸ λαλῆσαι, βραδὺς εἰς ὀργήν· 19 Understand this , my dear brothers and sisters : {NEQ} You must all be quick to listen , slow to speak , and slow to get angry .

It is time to judge the dead and reward your {NEQ} servants the prophets , as well as your holy people , and all who fear your {NEQ} name , from the least {NEQ} to the greatest . {NEQ} It is time to destroy all who have caused destruction on the earth . ”
Rev.14:10 10καὶ αὐτὸς πίεται ἐκ τοῦ οἴνου τοῦ θυμοῦ τοῦ θεοῦ· τοῦ κεκερασμένου ἀκράτου ἐν τῷ ποτηρίῳ τῆς ὀργῆς αὐτοῦ· καὶ βασανισθήσεται ἐν πυρὶ καὶ θείῳ ἐνώπιον ἀγγέλων ἁγίων καὶ ἐνώπιον τοῦ ἀρνίου. 10 {NEQ} {RPT} must drink {NEQ} the wine of {NEQ} God’s {NEQ} anger . {NEQ} It has been poured full strength into God’s {NEQ} cup of {NEQ} wrath . And they will be tormented with fire and burning sulfur in the presence of the holy {RPT} angels and the Lamb .
Rev.16:19 19καὶ ἐγένετο ἡ πόλις ἡ μεγάλη εἰς τρία μέρη, καὶ αἱ πόλεις τῶν ἐθνῶν ἔπεσαν. καὶ Βαβυλὼν ἡ μεγάλη ἐμνήσθη ἐνώπιον τοῦ θεοῦ, δοῦναι αὐτῇ τὸ ποτήριον τοῦ οἴνου τοῦ θυμοῦ τῆς ὀργῆς αὐτοῦ· 19 The {RPT} great city of Babylon split into three sections , and the cities {NEQ} of many nations fell into heaps of rubble . So {NEQ} God remembered all of Babylon’s {RPT} {RPT} sins , and he made her drink the cup that was filled with the wine of his {NEQ} {NEQ} fierce wrath .
Rev.19:15 15καὶ ἐκ τοῦ στόματος αὐτοῦ ἐκπορεύεται ῥομφαία ὀξεῖα ἵνα ἐν αὐτῇ πατάξῃ τὰ ἔθνη· καὶ αὐτὸς ποιμανεῖ αὐτοὺς ἐν ῥάβδῳ σιδηρᾷ· καὶ αὐτὸς πατεῖ τὴν ληνὸν τοῦ οἴνου, τοῦ θυμοῦ τῆς ὀργῆς τοῦ θεοῦ, τοῦ παντοκράτορος. 15   {NEQ} From his {NEQ} mouth came a sharp sword to strike down the nations {RPT} {RPT} . {NEQ} {RPT} He will rule them with an iron rod . {RPT} {NEQ} He will release the fierce {NEQ} wrath {NEQ} of God , the Almighty , {NEQ} like juice flowing from a winepress .
