Matt.5:18 18ἀμὴν γὰρ λέγω ὑμῖν, ἕως ἂν παρέλθῃ ὁ οὐρανὸς καὶ ἡ γῆ, ἰῶτα ἓν ἢ μία κεραία οὐ μὴ παρέλθῃ ἀπὸ τοῦ νόμου ἕως ἂν πάντα γένηται. 18 {NEQ} I tell you the truth , until {NEQ} heaven and {NEQ} earth disappear , not even the smallest detail of God’s law will disappear until its purpose is achieved .
Matt.5:19 19ὃς ἐὰν οὖν λύσῃ μίαν τῶν ἐντολῶν τούτων τῶν ἐλαχίστων καὶ διδάξῃ οὕτως τοὺς ἀνθρώπους, ἐλάχιστος κληθήσεται ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ τῶν οὐρανῶν. ὃς δ᾽ ἂν ποιήσῃ καὶ διδάξῃ οὗτος μέγας κληθήσεται ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ τῶν οὐρανῶν. 19 {RPT} {RPT} So if you ignore the {RPT} least commandment and teach others to do the same , you will be called the least in the Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven . But anyone who obeys God’s laws and teaches them {RPT} will be called great in the Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven .
Matt.5:20 20λέγω γὰρ ὑμῖν— ὅτι ἐὰν μὴ περισσεύσῃ ὑμῶν ἡ δικαιοσύνη πλεῖον τῶν γραμματέων καὶ Φαρισαίων, οὐ μὴ εἰσέλθητε εἰς τὴν βασιλείαν τῶν οὐρανῶν. 20 “ But I warn you — {NEQ} unless your {NEQ} righteousness is better than the righteousness of the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees , you will never enter {RPT} the Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven !
Matt.5:34 34ἐγὼ δὲ λέγω ὑμῖν, μὴ ὀμόσαι ὅλως· μήτε, ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ· ὅτι θρόνος ἐστὶν τοῦ θεοῦ· 34 But I say {RPT} , do not make any vows ! Do not say , ‘ By {NEQ} heaven ! ’ because heaven is {NEQ} God’s throne .
Matt.5:45 45ὅπως, γένησθε υἱοὶ τοῦ πατρὸς ὑμῶν τοῦ ἐν οὐρανοῖς. ὅτι τὸν ἥλιον αὐτοῦ ἀνατέλλει ἐπὶ πονηροὺς καὶ ἀγαθούς, καὶ βρέχει ἐπὶ δικαίους καὶ ἀδίκους. 45 In that way , you will be acting as true children of your {RPT} Father {RPT} in heaven . For {NEQ} he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good , and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike .

Matt.6:9 9οὕτως οὖν προσεύχεσθε ὑμεῖς· Πάτερ ἡμῶν ὁ ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς, ἁγιασθήτω τὸ ὄνομά σου. 9 {NEQ} Pray like this {RPT} : Our {NEQ} Father in {NEQ} heaven , may your {NEQ} name be kept holy .
Matt.6:10 10ἐλθάτω ἡ βασιλεία σου. γενηθήτω τὸ θέλημά σου ὡς ἐν οὐρανῷ, καὶ ἐπὶ γῆς. 10 May your {NEQ} Kingdom come soon . May your {NEQ} will {NEQ} be done on earth , as it is in heaven .
Matt.6:20 20θησαυρίζετε δὲ ὑμῖν θησαυροὺς ἐν οὐρανῷ, ὅπου οὔτε σὴς οὔτε βρῶσις ἀφανίζει, καὶ ὅπου κλέπται οὐ διορύσσουσιν οὐδὲ κλέπτουσιν. 20 {NEQ} Store your treasures in heaven , where moths and rust cannot destroy , and {RPT} thieves do not break in and steal .
Matt.6:26 26ἐμβλέψατε εἰς τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ. ὅτι οὐ σπείρουσιν οὐδὲ θερίζουσιν οὐδὲ συνάγουσιν εἰς ἀποθήκας, καὶ ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν ὁ οὐράνιος τρέφει αὐτά. οὐχ ὑμεῖς μᾶλλον διαφέρετε αὐτῶν; 26 Look at the birds . {NEQ} They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns , for your {RPT} heavenly {RPT} Father feeds them . And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are ?
Matt.7:11 11εἰ οὖν ὑμεῖς πονηροὶ ὄντες οἴδατε δόματα ἀγαθὰ διδόναι τοῖς τέκνοις ὑμῶν, πόσῳ μᾶλλον ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν ὁ ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς δώσει ἀγαθὰ τοῖς αἰτοῦσιν αὐτόν. 11 So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your {NEQ} children , how much more will your {RPT} {NEQ} heavenly {RPT} Father give good gifts to those who ask him .
Matt.7:21 21οὐ πᾶς ὁ λέγων μοι Κύριε· κύριε· εἰσελεύσεται εἰς τὴν βασιλείαν τῶν οὐρανῶν· ἀλλ᾽ ὁ ποιῶν τὸ θέλημα τοῦ πατρός μου τοῦ ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς. 21 “ Not everyone who calls out to me , ‘ Lord ! Lord ! ’ will enter {RPT} the Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven . Only those who actually do the will of my {NEQ} Father {RPT} in {NEQ} heaven will enter .
Matt.8:11 11λέγω δὲ ὑμῖν, ὅτι πολλοί— ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν καὶ δυσμῶν— ἥξουσιν καὶ ἀνακλιθήσονται μετὰ Ἀβραάμ, καὶ Ἰσαάκ, καὶ Ἰακὼβ ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ τῶν οὐρανῶν. 11 And I tell you this , that many Gentiles will come from all over the world — from east and west — and sit down with Abraham , {NEQ} Isaac , and Jacob at the feast in the Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven .
Matt.8:20 20καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ ὁ Ἰησοῦς, Αἱ ἀλώπεκες φωλεοὺς ἔχουσιν, καὶ τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ κατασκηνώσεις, ὁ δὲ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου οὐκ ἔχει ποῦ τὴν κεφαλὴν κλίνῃ. 20 But {NEQ} Jesus replied {RPT} , “ {NEQ} Foxes have dens to live in , and {NEQ} birds have nests , but the Son of {NEQ} Man  *  has no place even to lay his head . ”
Matt.10:7 7πορευόμενοι δὲ κηρύσσετε λέγοντες ὅτι ἤγγικεν ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν. 7 {NEQ} Go and announce to them that the Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven is near .  * 
Matt.10:32 32πᾶς οὖν ὅστις ὁμολογήσει ἐν ἐμοὶ ἔμπροσθεν τῶν ἀνθρώπων ὁμολογήσω κἀγὼ ἐν αὐτῷ ἔμπροσθεν τοῦ πατρός μου τοῦ ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς. 32 “ {NEQ} Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth , I will also acknowledge {RPT} before my {NEQ} Father {RPT} in {NEQ} heaven .
Matt.10:33 33ὅστις δὲ ἀρνήσηταί με ἔμπροσθεν τῶν ἀνθρώπων, ἀρνήσομαι κἀγὼ αὐτὸν ἔμπροσθεν τοῦ πατρός μου τοῦ ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς. 33 But everyone who denies me here on earth , I will also deny {RPT} before my {NEQ} Father {RPT} in {NEQ} heaven .
Matt.11:11 11ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, οὐκ ἐγήγερται ἐν γεννητοῖς γυναικῶν, μείζων Ἰωάνου τοῦ Βαπτιστοῦ. ὁ δὲ μικρότερος ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ τῶν οὐρανῶν μείζων αὐτοῦ ἐστίν. 11 “ I tell you the truth , of all who have ever lived , none is greater than John the Baptist . Yet even the least person in the Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven is greater than he is !
Matt.11:12 12ἀπὸ δὲ τῶν ἡμερῶν Ἰωάνου τοῦ Βαπτιστοῦ ἕως ἄρτι, ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν βιάζεται καὶ βιασταὶ ἁρπάζουσιν αὐτήν. 12 And from the time John the Baptist began preaching until now , the Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven has been forcefully advancing , and violent people are attacking it .  * 
Matt.11:23 23καὶ σὺ Καφαρναούμ, μὴ ἕως οὐρανοῦ ὑψωθήσῃ; ἕως ᾅδου καταβήσῃ. ὅτι εἰ ἐν Σοδόμοις ἐγενήθησαν αἱ δυνάμεις αἱ γενόμεναι ἐν σοί, ἔμεινεν ἂν μέχρι τῆς σήμερον. 23 “ And you people of Capernaum , will you be honored in heaven ? No , you will go down to the place of the dead .  *  For if the miracles I did for you {NEQ} had been done in wicked Sodom , it would still be here {NEQ} today .
Matt.11:25 25ἐν ἐκείνῳ τῷ καιρῷ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν· Ἐξομολογοῦμαί σοι, πάτερ, κύριε τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ τῆς γῆς, ὅτι ἔκρυψας ταῦτα ἀπὸ σοφῶν καὶ συνετῶν, καὶ ἀπεκάλυψας αὐτὰ νηπίοις. 25 At that {NEQ} time {NEQ} Jesus prayed this prayer : “ O Father , Lord {NEQ} of heaven and {NEQ} earth , thank you for hiding these things from those who think themselves wise and clever , and for revealing them to the childlike .
Matt.12:50 50ὅστις γὰρ ἂν ποιήσῃ τὸ θέλημα τοῦ πατρός μου τοῦ ἐν οὐρανοῖς αὐτός μου ἀδελφὸς καὶ ἀδελφὴ καὶ μήτηρ ἐστίν. 50 {NEQ} Anyone who does the will of my {NEQ} Father {RPT} in heaven {RPT} is my brother and sister and mother ! ”
Matt.13:11 11ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς, ὅτι, Ὑμῖν δέδοται γνῶναι τὰ μυστήρια τῆς βασιλείας τῶν οὐρανῶν, ἐκείνοις δὲ οὐ δέδοται. 11 {NEQ} He replied {RPT} , “ You are permitted to understand the secrets  *  of the Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven , but others are not .
Matt.13:24 24ἄλλην παραβολὴν παρέθηκεν αὐτοῖς λέγων· Ὡμοιώθη ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν ἀνθρώπῳ σπείραντι καλὸν σπέρμα ἐν τῷ ἀγρῷ αὐτοῦ. 24 Here is another story Jesus told {RPT} : “ The Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven is like a farmer who planted good seed in his {NEQ} field .
Matt.13:31 31ἄλλην παραβολὴν παρέθηκεν αὐτοῖς λέγων· Ὁμοία ἐστὶν ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν κόκκῳ σινάπεως ὃν λαβὼν ἄνθρωπος ἔσπειρεν ἐν τῷ ἀγρῷ αὐτοῦ. 31 Here is another illustration Jesus used {RPT} : “ The Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven is like a mustard seed {RPT} {NEQ} {NEQ} planted in a field {RPT} .
Matt.13:32 32ὃ μικρότερον μέν ἐστιν πάντων τῶν σπερμάτων, ὅταν δὲ αὐξηθῇ μεῖζον τῶν λαχάνων ἐστίν· καὶ γίνεται δένδρον, ὥστε ἐλθεῖν τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ κατασκηνοῦν ἐν τοῖς κλάδοις αὐτοῦ. 32 It is the smallest {NEQ} of all {NEQ} seeds , {NEQ} but it becomes the largest {NEQ} of {NEQ} garden plants ; {NEQ} it grows into a tree , and {NEQ} birds come and make nests in its {NEQ} branches . ”
Matt.13:33 33ἄλλην παραβολὴν ἐλάλησεν αὐτοῖς· Ὁμοία ἐστὶν ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν ζύμῃ· ἣν λαβοῦσα γυνὴ ἐνέκρυψεν εἰς ἀλεύρου σάτα τρία, ἕως οὗ ἐζυμώθη ὅλον. 33 Jesus also used this illustration {RPT} : “ The Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven is like the yeast a woman {RPT} used in making bread . Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour , {RPT} {RPT} it permeated every part of the dough . ”
Matt.13:44 44ὁμοία ἐστὶν ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν θησαυρῷ κεκρυμμένῳ ἐν τῷ ἀγρῷ ὃν εὑρὼν ἄνθρωπος· ἔκρυψεν, καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς χαρᾶς αὐτοῦ, ὑπάγει καὶ πωλεῖ πάντα ὅσα ἔχει καὶ ἀγοράζει τὸν ἀγρὸν ἐκεῖνον. 44 “ The Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven is like a treasure that a man discovered hidden in a field . {NEQ} In his {NEQ} excitement , he hid it again {NEQ} and sold everything he owned to get enough money to {NEQ} buy the field {RPT} .
Matt.13:45 45πάλιν, ὁμοία ἐστὶν ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν ἐμπόρῳ ζητοῦντι καλοὺς μαργαρίτας. 45 “ Again , the Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven is like a merchant on the lookout for choice pearls .
Matt.13:47 47πάλιν, ὁμοία ἐστὶν ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν σαγήνῃ βληθείσῃ εἰς τὴν θάλασσαν καὶ ἐκ παντὸς γένους συναγαγούσῃ· 47 “ Again , the Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven is like a fishing net that was thrown into the water and caught fish of every kind .
Matt.13:52 52ὁ δὲ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς, Διὰ τοῦτο πᾶς γραμματεὺς μαθητευθεὶς τῇ βασιλείᾳ τῶν οὐρανῶν ὅμοιός ἐστιν ἀνθρώπῳ οἰκοδεσπότῃ ὅστις ἐκβάλλει ἐκ τοῦ θησαυροῦ αὐτοῦ καινὰ καὶ παλαιά. 52 Then he added {RPT} , “ {NEQ} {NEQ} Every teacher of religious law who becomes a disciple in the Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven is like a homeowner who brings from his {NEQ} storeroom new gems of truth as well as old . ”
Matt.14:19 19καὶ κελεύσας τοὺς ὄχλους ἀνακλιθῆναι ἐπὶ τοῦ χόρτου· λαβὼν τοὺς πέντε ἄρτους καὶ τοὺς δύο ἰχθύας, ἀναβλέψας εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν, εὐλόγησεν. καί, κλάσας, ἔδωκεν τοῖς μαθηταῖς τοὺς ἄρτους, οἱ δὲ μαθηταὶ τοῖς ὄχλοις. 19 Then he told the people to sit down on the grass . Jesus took the five loaves and {NEQ} two fish , looked up toward {NEQ} heaven , and blessed them . Then , breaking the loaves into pieces , he gave the bread to the disciples , {NEQ} who distributed it to the people .
Matt.16:1 1καὶ προσελθόντες οἱ Φαρισαῖοι καὶ Σαδδουκαῖοι πειράζοντες, ἐπηρώτησαν αὐτὸν σημεῖον ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἐπιδεῖξαι αὐτοῖς. 16:1 One day the Pharisees and Sadducees came to test Jesus , demanding that he show them a miraculous sign from {NEQ} heaven to prove his authority .
Matt.16:2 2ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς, Ὀψίας γενομένης λέγετε, Εὐδία, πυρράζει γὰρ ὁ οὐρανός, 2 {NEQ} He replied {RPT} , “ You know the saying , ‘ Red {NEQ} sky at night means fair weather tomorrow ;
Matt.16:3 3καὶ πρωί, Σήμερον χειμών, πυρράζει γὰρ στυγνάζων ὁ οὐρανός. τὸ μὲν πρόσωπον τοῦ οὐρανοῦ γινώσκετε διακρίνειν, τὰ δὲ σημεῖα τῶν καιρῶν οὐ δύνασθε. 3 {NEQ} red {NEQ} sky in the morning means foul weather all day . ’ {NEQ} {NEQ} You know how to interpret the weather signs in the sky , but you don’t know how to interpret the signs of the times !  * 
Matt.16:17 17ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτῷ, Μακάριος εἶ, Σίμων Βαριωνᾶ, ὅτι σὰρξ καὶ αἷμα οὐκ ἀπεκάλυψέν σοι, ἀλλ᾽ ὁ πατήρ μου ὁ ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς. 17 {NEQ} {NEQ} Jesus replied {RPT} , “ You are blessed , Simon son of John ,  *  because my {RPT} Father {RPT} in {NEQ} heaven has revealed this to you . {NEQ} You did not learn this from any human being .
Matt.16:19 19δώσω σοι τὰς κλεῖδας τῆς βασιλείας τῶν οὐρανῶν. καὶ ὃ ἐὰν δήσῃς ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἔσται δεδεμένον ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς, καὶ ὃ ἐὰν λύσῃς ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἔσται λελυμένον ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς. 19 And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven . {NEQ} Whatever you forbid  *  on {NEQ} earth will be forbidden in {NEQ} heaven , and whatever you permit  *  on {NEQ} earth will be permitted in {NEQ} heaven . ”
Matt.18:1 1ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ὥρᾳ προσῆλθον οἱ μαθηταὶ τῷ Ἰησοῦ λέγοντες, Τίς ἄρα μείζων ἐστὶν ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ τῶν οὐρανῶν; 18:1 About that {NEQ} time the disciples came to {NEQ} Jesus and asked , “ Who {NEQ} is greatest in the Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven ? ”
Matt.18:3 3καὶ εἶπεν, Ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, ἐὰν μὴ στραφῆτε καὶ γένησθε ὡς τὰ παιδία, οὐ μὴ εἰσέλθητε εἰς τὴν βασιλείαν τῶν οὐρανῶν. 3 Then he said , “ I tell you the truth , unless you turn from your sins and become like {NEQ} little children , you will never get into the Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven .
Matt.18:4 4ὅστις οὖν ταπεινώσει ἑαυτὸν ὡς τὸ παιδίον τοῦτο, οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ μείζων ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ τῶν οὐρανῶν. 4 So anyone who becomes as humble as this {NEQ} little child {RPT} is the greatest in the Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven .
Matt.18:10 10ὁρᾶτε μὴ καταφρονήσητε ἑνὸς τῶν μικρῶν τούτων. λέγω γὰρ ὑμῖν ὅτι οἱ ἄγγελοι αὐτῶν ἐν οὐρανοῖς διὰ παντὸς βλέπουσι τὸ πρόσωπον τοῦ πατρός μου τοῦ ἐν οὐρανοῖς. 10 “ Beware that you don’t look down on any of these {NEQ} little ones . For I tell you that in heaven their {NEQ} angels are always in the presence of my {RPT} heavenly {RPT} Father .  * 
Matt.18:14 14οὕτως, οὐκ ἔστιν θέλημα ἔμπροσθεν τοῦ πατρός μου τοῦ ἐν οὐρανοῖς ἵνα ἀπόληται ἓν τῶν μικρῶν τούτων. 14 In the same way , it is not my {RPT} heavenly {RPT} Father’s will that even one of these {NEQ} little ones should perish .
Matt.18:18 18ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, ὅσα ἐὰν δήσητε ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἔσται δεδεμένα ἐν οὐρανῷ, καὶ ὅσα ἐὰν λύσητε ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἔσται λελυμένα ἐν οὐρανῷ. 18 “ I tell you the truth , whatever you forbid  *  on {NEQ} earth will be forbidden in heaven , and whatever you permit  *  on {NEQ} earth will be permitted in heaven .
Matt.18:19 19πάλιν ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν· ὅτι ἐὰν δύο συμφωνήσωσιν ἐξ ὑμῶν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς περὶ παντὸς πράγματος οὗ ἐὰν αἰτήσωνται, γενήσεται αὐτοῖς παρὰ τοῦ πατρός μου τοῦ ἐν οὐρανοῖς. 19 “ I also tell you this : {NEQ} If two of you agree here on {NEQ} earth concerning anything you ask , my {NEQ} Father {RPT} in heaven will do it for you .
Matt.18:23 23διὰ τοῦτο, ὡμοιώθη ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν ἀνθρώπῳ βασιλεῖ ὃς ἠθέλησεν συνᾶραι λόγον μετὰ τῶν δούλων αὐτοῦ. 23 “ Therefore , the Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven can be compared to a king who decided to bring his accounts up to date with {NEQ} servants who had borrowed money from him .
Matt.19:12 12εἰσὶν γὰρ εὐνοῦχοι οἵτινες ἐκ κοιλίας μητρὸς ἐγεννήθησαν οὕτως, καὶ εἰσὶν εὐνοῦχοι οἵτινες εὐνουχίσθησαν ὑπὸ τῶν ἀνθρώπων, καὶ εἰσὶν εὐνοῦχοι οἵτινες εὐνούχισαν ἑαυτοὺς διὰ τὴν βασιλείαν τῶν οὐρανῶν. ὁ δυνάμενος χωρεῖν χωρείτω. 12 {NEQ} Some are born as eunuchs , {NEQ} some {RPT} have been made eunuchs by others , and {RPT} some choose not to marry for the sake of the Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven . Let anyone accept this who can . ”
Matt.19:14 14ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν, ̓Άφετε τὰ παιδία, καὶ μὴ κωλύετε αὐτὰ ἐλθεῖν πρός με· τῶν γὰρ τοιούτων ἐστὶν ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν. 14 But {NEQ} Jesus said , “ Let the children come to me . {NEQ} Don’t stop them ! For the Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven belongs to those who are like these children . ”
Matt.19:21 21ἔφη αὐτῷ ὁ Ἰησοῦς, Εἰ θέλεις τέλειος εἶναι, ὕπαγε πώλησόν σου τὰ ὑπάρχοντα καὶ δὸς τοῖς πτωχοῖς, καὶ ἕξεις θησαυρὸν ἐν οὐρανοῖς. καὶ δεῦρο, ἀκολούθει μοι. 21 {NEQ} Jesus told him , “ If you want to be perfect , go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor , and you will have treasure in heaven . Then come , follow me . ”
Matt.19:23 23ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ, Ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, ὅτι πλούσιος δυσκόλως εἰσελεύσεται εἰς τὴν βασιλείαν τῶν οὐρανῶν. 23 Then {NEQ} Jesus said to his {NEQ} disciples , “ I tell you the truth , {NEQ} it is very hard for a rich person to enter {RPT} the Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven .
Matt.20:1 1ὁμοία γάρ ἐστιν ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν ἀνθρώπῳ οἰκοδεσπότῃ ὅστις ἐξῆλθεν ἅμα πρωὶ μισθώσασθαι ἐργάτας εἰς τὸν ἀμπελῶνα αὐτοῦ. 20:1 “ For the Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven is like the landowner who went out early one morning to hire workers for his {NEQ} vineyard .
Matt.21:25 25τὸ βάπτισμα τὸ Ἰωάνου πόθεν ἦν ἐξ οὐρανοῦ, ἢ ἐξ ἀνθρώπων; οἱ δὲ διελογίζοντο ἐν ἑαυτοῖς· λέγοντες, Ἐὰν Εἴπωμεν, Ἐξ οὐρανοῦ, ἐρεῖ ἡμῖν, Διὰ τί οὖν οὐκ ἐπιστεύσατε αὐτῷ; 25 “ Did {NEQ} John’s authority to {NEQ} baptize come from heaven , or was it merely human ? ” They {NEQ} talked it over among themselves . “ If we say it was from heaven , he will ask us {NEQ} why we didn’t believe John .
Matt.22:2 2Ὡμοιώθη ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν ἀνθρώπῳ βασιλεῖ ὅστις ἐποίησεν γάμους τῷ υἱῷ αὐτοῦ. 2 “ The Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven can be illustrated by the story of a king who prepared a great wedding feast for his {NEQ} son .
Matt.22:30 30ἐν γὰρ τῇ ἀναστάσει, οὔτε γαμοῦσιν οὔτε γαμίζονται· ἀλλ᾽ ὡς ἄγγελοι ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ εἰσίν. 30 For when the dead rise , they will neither marry nor be given in marriage . In this respect they will be like the angels in {NEQ} heaven .
Matt.23:13 13οὐαὶ δὲ ὑμῖν γραμματεῖς καὶ Φαρισαῖοι, ὑποκριταί. ὅτι κλείετε τὴν βασιλείαν τῶν οὐρανῶν ἔμπροσθεν τῶν ἀνθρώπων. ὑμεῖς γὰρ οὐκ εἰσέρχεσθε, οὐδέ, τοὺς εἰσερχομένους ἀφίετε εἰσελθεῖν. 13 “ {NEQ} What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees . Hypocrites ! For you shut the door of the Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven in {NEQ} people’s faces . {NEQ} You won’t go in yourselves , and you don’t let others enter either .  * 
Matt.23:22 22καὶ ὁ ὀμόσας, Ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ, ὀμνύει ἐν τῷ θρόνῳ τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ ἐν τῷ καθημένῳ ἐπάνω αὐτοῦ. 22 And when you swear ‘ by {NEQ} heaven , ’ you are swearing by the throne of {NEQ} God and by God , who sits on the throne .
Matt.24:29 29εὐθέως δὲ μετὰ τὴν θλῖψιν τῶν ἡμερῶν ἐκείνων, ὁ ἥλιος σκοτισθήσεται, καὶ ἡ σελήνη οὐ δώσει τὸ φέγγος αὐτῆς, καὶ οἱ ἀστέρες πεσοῦνται ἀπὸ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ, καὶ αἱ δυνάμεις τῶν οὐρανῶν σαλευθήσονται. 29 “ Immediately after the anguish of those {NEQ} days , the sun will be darkened , {NEQ} the moon will give no {NEQ} light {RPT} , {NEQ} the stars will fall from the sky , and the powers in the heavens will be shaken .  * 
Matt.24:30 30καὶ τότε, φανήσεται τὸ σημεῖον τοῦ υἱοῦ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐν οὐρανῷ, καὶ τότε κόψονται πᾶσαι αἱ φυλαὶ τῆς γῆς. καὶ ὄψονται τὸν υἱὸν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐρχόμενον ἐπὶ τῶν νεφελῶν τοῦ οὐρανοῦ μετὰ δυνάμεως καὶ δόξης πολλῆς. 30 And then at last , the sign that the Son of {NEQ} Man is coming will appear in the heavens , and there will be deep mourning among all the peoples of the earth . And they will see the Son of {NEQ} Man coming on the clouds of {NEQ} heaven with power and great glory .  * 
Matt.24:31 31καὶ ἀποστελεῖ τοὺς ἀγγέλους αὐτοῦ μετὰ σάλπιγγος μεγάλης, καὶ ἐπισυνάξουσιν τοὺς ἐκλεκτοὺς αὐτοῦ ἐκ τῶν τεσσάρων ἀνέμων— ἀπ᾽ ἄκρων οὐρανῶν ἕως τῶν ἄκρων αὐτῶν. 31 And he will send out his {NEQ} angels with the mighty blast of a trumpet , and they will gather his {NEQ} chosen ones from all over the world  *  — from the farthest ends of the earth and heaven {RPT} .
Matt.24:35 35ὁ οὐρανὸς καὶ ἡ γῆ παρελεύσεται, οἱ δὲ λόγοι μου οὐ μὴ παρέλθωσιν. 35 {NEQ} Heaven and {NEQ} earth will disappear , but my {NEQ} words will never disappear .
Matt.24:36 36περὶ δέ, τῆς ἡμέρας ἐκείνης καὶ ὥρας οὐδεὶς οἶδεν, οὐδὲ οἱ ἄγγελοι τῶν οὐρανῶν οὐδὲ ὁ υἱός. εἰ μὴ ὁ πατὴρ μόνος. 36 “ However , no one knows the {NEQ} day or hour when these things will happen , not even the angels in {NEQ} heaven or the Son himself .  *  Only the Father knows .
Matt.25:1 1τότε ὁμοιωθήσεται ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν δέκα παρθένοις αἵτινες λαβοῦσαι τὰς λαμπάδας ἑαυτῶν ἐξῆλθον εἰς ὑπάντησιν τοῦ νυμφίου. 25:1 “ Then the Kingdom of {NEQ} Heaven will be like ten bridesmaids  *  who took their {NEQ} lamps and went to meet the bridegroom .
Matt.26:64 64λέγει αὐτῷ ὁ Ἰησοῦς, Σὺ εἶπας. πλὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ἀπ᾽ ἄρτι ὄψεσθε τὸν υἱὸν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου καθήμενον ἐκ δεξιῶν τῆς δυνάμεως καὶ ἐρχόμενον ἐπὶ τῶν νεφελῶν τοῦ οὐρανοῦ. 64 {NEQ} Jesus replied {RPT} , “ You have said it . And in the future you will see the Son of {NEQ} Man seated in the place of {NEQ} power at God’s right hand  *  and coming on the clouds of {NEQ} heaven . ”  * 
Matt.28:2 2καὶ ἰδοὺ σεισμὸς ἐγένετο μέγας· ἄγγελος γὰρ κυρίου καταβὰς ἐξ οὐρανοῦ, καὶ προσελθὼν ἀπεκύλισε τὸν λίθον, καὶ ἐκάθητο ἐπάνω αὐτοῦ. 2 Suddenly there was a great earthquake ! For an angel of the Lord came down from heaven , {NEQ} {RPT} rolled aside the stone , and sat on it .
Matt.28:18 18καὶ προσελθὼν ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἐλάλησεν αὐτοῖς λέγων, Ἐδόθη μοι πᾶσα ἐξουσία ἐν οὐρανῷ καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς. 18 {NEQ} {NEQ} Jesus came and told his disciples , “ I have been given all authority in heaven and on {NEQ} earth .
Mark.1:10 10καὶ εὐθὺς ἀναβαίνων ἐκ τοῦ ὕδατος, εἶδεν σχιζομένους τοὺς οὐρανοὺς καὶ τὸ πνεῦμα ὡς περιστερὰν καταβαῖνον εἰς αὐτόν. 10 {NEQ} {NEQ} As Jesus came up out of the water , he saw the heavens splitting apart and the Holy Spirit descending on him  *  like a dove .
Mark.1:11 11καὶ φωνὴ ἐγένετο ἐκ τῶν οὐρανῶν, Σὺ εἶ ὁ υἱός μου ὁ ἀγαπητός, ἐν σοὶ εὐδόκησα. 11 And a voice from {NEQ} heaven said , “ You are my {RPT} dearly loved {RPT} Son , and you bring me great joy . ”
Mark.4:32 32καὶ ὅταν σπαρῇ, ἀναβαίνει καὶ γίνεται μεῖζον πάντων τῶν λαχάνων· καὶ ποιεῖ κλάδους μεγάλους, ὥστε δύνασθαι ὑπὸ τὴν σκιὰν αὐτοῦ τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ κατασκηνοῦν. 32 but it becomes the largest of all {NEQ} garden plants ; {NEQ} it grows long branches , and {NEQ} birds can make nests in its {NEQ} shade . ”
Mark.6:41 41καὶ λαβὼν τοὺς πέντε ἄρτους καὶ τοὺς δύο ἰχθύας, ἀναβλέψας εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν, εὐλόγησεν. καί, κατέκλασεν τοὺς ἄρτους καὶ ἐδίδου τοῖς μαθηταῖς ἵνα παρατιθῶσιν αὐτοῖς. καὶ τοὺς δύο ἰχθύας ἐμέρισεν πᾶσιν. 41 {NEQ} Jesus took the five loaves and {RPT} two fish , looked up toward {NEQ} heaven , and blessed them . Then , breaking the loaves into pieces , {NEQ} he kept giving the bread to the disciples so they could distribute it to the people . He also divided the fish for everyone to share .
Mark.7:34 34καὶ ἀναβλέψας εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν, ἐστέναξεν καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ, Ἐφφαθά, ὅ ἐστιν Διανοίχθητι. 34   {NEQ} Looking up to {NEQ} heaven , he sighed and said {RPT} , “ Ephphatha , ” which means , “ Be opened ! ”
Mark.8:11 11καὶ ἐξῆλθον οἱ Φαρισαῖοι, καὶ ἤρξαντο συζητεῖν αὐτῷ· ζητοῦντες παρ᾽ αὐτοῦ σημεῖον ἀπὸ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ, πειράζοντες αὐτόν. 11 When the Pharisees heard that Jesus had arrived , {NEQ} they came and started to argue with him . Testing him , they demanded that he show them a miraculous sign from {NEQ} heaven to prove his authority .
Mark.10:21 21ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς ἐμβλέψας αὐτῷ, ἠγάπησεν αὐτόν. καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ, ̔Έν σε ὑστερεῖ. ὕπαγε, ὅσα ἔχεις πώλησον καὶ δὸς τοῖς πτωχοῖς, καὶ ἕξεις θησαυρὸν ἐν οὐρανῷ. καὶ δεῦρο, ἀκολούθει μοι. 21 Looking at the man , {NEQ} {NEQ} Jesus felt genuine love for him . “ There is still one thing you haven’t done , ” {NEQ} he told him . “ Go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor , and you will have treasure in heaven . Then come , follow me . ”
Mark.11:25 25καὶ ὅταν στήκετε προσευχόμενοι, ἀφίετε εἴ τι ἔχετε κατά τινος, ἵνα καί, ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν ὁ ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς ἀφῇ ὑμῖν τὰ παραπτώματα ὑμῶν. 25 But when you are praying , first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against , so that your {NEQ} Father {RPT} in {NEQ} heaven will forgive {RPT} your {NEQ} sins , too .  *  ”

Mark.16:19 19Ὁ μὲν οὖν κύριος Ἰησοῦς μετὰ τὸ λαλῆσαι αὐτοῖς, ἀνελήμφθη εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ ἐκάθισεν ἐκ δεξιῶν τοῦ θεοῦ. 19 When the Lord Jesus had finished talking with them , he was taken up into {NEQ} heaven and sat down in the place of honor at {NEQ} God’s right hand .
Luke.2:15 15καὶ ἐγένετο ὡς ἀπῆλθον ἀπ᾽ αὐτῶν εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν οἱ ἄγγελοι, οἱ ποιμένες ἐλάλουν πρὸς ἀλλήλους, Διέλθωμεν δὴ ἕως Βηθλεέμ· καὶ ἴδωμεν τὸ ῥῆμα τοῦτο τὸ γεγονός, ὃ ὁ κύριος ἐγνώρισεν ἡμῖν. 15 {NEQ} {NEQ} When the angels had {RPT} returned {RPT} to {NEQ} heaven , the shepherds said to each other , “ Let’s go {NEQ} to Bethlehem ! {NEQ} Let’s see this {NEQ} thing that has happened , which the Lord has told us about . ”
Luke.3:21 21ἐγένετο δὲ ἐν τῷ βαπτισθῆναι ἅπαντα τὸν λαόν, καὶ Ἰησοῦ βαπτισθέντος· καὶ προσευχομένου, ἀνεῳχθῆναι τὸν οὐρανόν, 21 One day when the crowds were being baptized , {NEQ} Jesus himself was baptized . {NEQ} As he was praying , the heavens opened ,
Luke.3:22 22καὶ καταβῆναι τὸ πνεῦμα τὸ ἅγιον, σωματικῷ, εἴδει ὡς περιστερὰν ἐπ᾽ αὐτόν. καὶ φωνὴν ἐξ οὐρανοῦ γενέσθαι, Σὺ εἶ ὁ υἱός μου ὁ ἀγαπητός, ἐν σοὶ εὐδόκησα. 22 and the {RPT} Holy Spirit , in bodily form , descended on him like a dove . And a voice from heaven said , “ You are my {RPT} dearly loved {RPT} Son , and you bring me great joy .  *  ”
Luke.4:25 25ἐπ᾽ ἀληθείας δὲ λέγω ὑμῖν πολλαὶ χῆραι ἦσαν ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις Ἠλείου ἐν τῷ Ἰσραήλ, ὅτε ἐκλείσθη ὁ οὐρανὸς ἔτη τρία καὶ μῆνας ἕξ, ὡς ἐγένετο λιμὸς μέγας ἐπὶ πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν. 25 “ Certainly there were many needy widows in {NEQ} Israel in Elijah’s {NEQ} time , when the heavens were closed for three and a half years , and a severe famine devastated {NEQ} the land .
Luke.6:23 23χάρητε, ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ. καὶ σκιρτήσατε. ἰδοὺ γὰρ ὁ μισθὸς ὑμῶν πολὺς ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ. κατὰ τὰ αὐτὰ γὰρ ἐποίουν τοῖς προφήταις οἱ πατέρες αὐτῶν. 23 When that happens , be happy ! Yes , leap for joy ! {NEQ} For a great reward awaits you in {NEQ} heaven . And remember , their {NEQ} ancestors treated the ancient prophets that same way .
Luke.8:5 5Ἐξῆλθεν ὁ σπείρων τοῦ σπεῖραι τὸν σπόρον αὐτοῦ. καὶ ἐν τῷ σπείρειν αὐτόν, ὃ μὲν ἔπεσεν παρὰ τὴν ὁδόν, καὶ κατεπατήθη, καὶ τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ κατέφαγεν αὐτό. 5 “ A farmer went out to plant his {NEQ} seed . {NEQ} As he scattered it across his field , some seed fell on a footpath , {NEQ} where it was stepped on , and the birds ate it .

Then , breaking the loaves into pieces , {NEQ} he kept giving the bread and fish to the disciples so they could distribute it to the people .
Luke.9:54 54ἰδόντες δὲ οἱ μαθηταὶ Ἰάκωβος καὶ Ἰωάνης, εἶπαν, Κύριε, θέλεις εἴπωμεν πῦρ καταβῆναι ἀπὸ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ ἀναλῶσαι αὐτούς; 54 {NEQ} {NEQ} {NEQ} When James and John saw this , they said to Jesus , “ Lord , {RPT} should we call down fire from {NEQ} heaven {NEQ} to burn them up  *  ? ”
Luke.9:58 58καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ ὁ Ἰησοῦς, Αἱ ἀλώπεκες φωλεοὺς ἔχουσιν, καὶ τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ κατασκηνώσεις, ὁ δὲ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου οὐκ ἔχει ποῦ τὴν κεφαλὴν κλίνῃ. 58 But {NEQ} Jesus replied {RPT} , “ {NEQ} Foxes have dens to live in , and {NEQ} birds have nests , but the Son of {NEQ} Man has no place even to lay his head . ”
Luke.10:15 15καὶ σὺ Καφαρναούμ, μὴ ἕως οὐρανοῦ ὑψωθήσῃ; ἕως τοῦ ᾅδου καταβήσῃ. 15 And you people of Capernaum , will you be honored in heaven ? No , you will go down to the place of the dead .  *  ”
Luke.10:18 18εἶπεν δὲ αὐτοῖς, Ἐθεώρουν τὸν Σατανᾶν ὡς ἀστραπὴν ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ πεσόντα. 18 “ {NEQ} Yes , ” he told them , “ I saw {NEQ} Satan fall from {NEQ} heaven like lightning !
Luke.10:20 20πλὴν ἐν τούτῳ μὴ χαίρετε ὅτι τὰ πνεύματα ὑμῖν ὑποτάσσεται· χαίρετε δὲ ὅτι τὰ ὀνόματα ὑμῶν ἐνγέγραπται ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς. 20 But {RPT} {RPT} don’t rejoice because {NEQ} evil spirits obey you ; {NEQ} rejoice because your {NEQ} names are registered in {NEQ} heaven . ”
Luke.10:21 21ἐν αὐτῇ τῇ ὥρᾳ ἠγαλλιάσατο τῷ πνεύματι τῷ ἁγίῳ καὶ εἶπεν, Ἐξομολογοῦμαί σοι, πάτερ, κύριε τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ τῆς γῆς, ὅτι ἀπέκρυψας ταῦτα ἀπὸ σοφῶν καὶ συνετῶν, καὶ ἀπεκάλυψας αὐτὰ νηπίοις. ναί, ὁ πατήρ, ὅτι οὕτως εὐδοκία ἐγένετο ἔμπροσθέν σου. 21 At that same time Jesus was filled with the joy of the {RPT} Holy Spirit , and he said , “ O Father , Lord of {NEQ} heaven and {NEQ} earth , thank you for hiding these things from those who think themselves wise and clever , and for revealing them to the childlike . Yes , {NEQ} Father , {NEQ} it pleased you to do it this way .
Luke.11:13 13εἰ οὖν ὑμεῖς πονηροὶ ὑπάρχοντες οἴδατε δόματα ἀγαθὰ διδόναι τοῖς τέκνοις ὑμῶν, πόσῳ μᾶλλον ὁ πατὴρ ὁ ἐξ οὐρανοῦ δώσει πνεῦμα ἅγιον τοῖς αἰτοῦσιν αὐτόν. 13 So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your {NEQ} children , how much more will your {RPT} heavenly {RPT} Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him . ”
Luke.11:16 16ἕτεροι δέ, πειράζοντες, σημεῖον ἐξ οὐρανοῦ ἐζήτουν παρ᾽ αὐτοῦ. 16 Others , trying to test Jesus , demanded that he show them a miraculous sign from heaven to prove his authority .
Luke.12:33 33πωλήσατε τὰ ὑπάρχοντα ὑμῶν καὶ δότε ἐλεημοσύνην. ποιήσατε ἑαυτοῖς βαλλάντια μὴ παλαιούμενα· θησαυρὸν ἀνέκλειπτον ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς, ὅπου κλέπτης οὐκ ἐγγίζει οὐδὲ σὴς διαφθείρει. 33 “ Sell your {NEQ} possessions and give to those in need . This will store up treasure for you in {NEQ} heaven ! And the purses of heaven never get old or develop holes . Your treasure will be safe ; no thief can steal it and no moth can destroy it .
Luke.12:56 56ὑποκριταί, τὸ πρόσωπον τῆς γῆς καὶ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ οἴδατε δοκιμάζειν, τὸν καιρὸν δὲ τοῦτον πῶς οὐκ οἴδατε δοκιμάζειν. 56 You fools ! You know how to interpret the weather signs of the earth and {NEQ} sky , but you don’t know how to interpret the present times .
Luke.13:19 19ὁμοία ἐστὶν κόκκῳ σινάπεως ὃν λαβὼν ἄνθρωπος ἔβαλεν εἰς κῆπον ἑαυτοῦ· καὶ ηὔξησεν καὶ ἐγένετο εἰς δένδρον, καὶ τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ κατεσκήνωσεν ἐν τοῖς κλάδοις αὐτοῦ. 19 It is like a tiny mustard seed that a man planted in a garden ; {NEQ} it grows and becomes a tree , and the birds make nests in its {NEQ} branches . ”
Luke.15:7 7λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι οὕτως, χαρὰ ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ ἔσται ἐπὶ ἑνὶ ἁμαρτωλῷ μετανοοῦντι ἢ ἐπὶ ἐνενήκοντα ἐννέα δικαίοις οἵτινες οὐ χρείαν ἔχουσιν μετανοίας. 7 {NEQ} {RPT} In the same way , there is more joy in {NEQ} heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away !
Luke.15:18 18ἀναστὰς πορεύσομαι πρὸς τὸν πατέρα μου καὶ ἐρῶ αὐτῷ, Πάτερ, ἥμαρτον εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ ἐνώπιόν σου, 18 I will go home to my {NEQ} father and say , “ Father , I have sinned against both {NEQ} heaven and {NEQ} you ,
Luke.15:21 21εἶπεν δὲ ὁ υἱὸς αὐτῷ, Πάτερ, ἥμαρτον εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ ἐνώπιόν σου, οὐκέτι εἰμὶ ἄξιος κληθῆναι υἱός σου. 21 {NEQ} His son said to him , ‘ Father , I have sinned against both {NEQ} heaven and {NEQ} you , and I am no longer worthy of being called your son .  *  ’
Luke.16:17 17εὐκοπώτερον δέ ἐστιν τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ τὴν γῆν παρελθεῖν ἢ τοῦ νόμου μίαν κεραίαν πεσεῖν. 17 But that doesn’t mean that the law has lost its force . {NEQ} It is easier for {NEQ} heaven and {NEQ} earth to disappear than for the smallest point of God’s law to be overturned .
Luke.17:24 24ὥσπερ γὰρ ἡ ἀστραπὴ ἀστράπτουσα ἐκ τῆς ὑπὸ τὸν οὐρανὸν εἰς τὴν ὑπ᾽ οὐρανὸν λάμπει, οὕτως ἔσται ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ αὐτοῦ. 24 For as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the {RPT} other , so it will be on the day when the Son of {NEQ} Man comes {RPT} .
Luke.17:29 29ᾗ δὲ ἡμέρᾳ ἐξῆλθεν Λὼτ ἀπὸ Σοδόμων. ἔβρεξεν πῦρ καὶ θεῖον ἀπ᾽ οὐρανοῦ καὶ ἀπώλεσεν πάντας. 29 until the morning Lot left Sodom . Then fire and burning sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all .
Luke.18:13 13ὁ δὲ τελώνης μακρόθεν ἑστὼς οὐκ ἤθελεν οὐδὲ τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς ἐπᾶραι εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν. ἀλλ᾽ ἔτυπτε τὸ στῆθος αὐτοῦ, λέγων, Ὁ θεός, ἱλάσθητί μοι, τῷ ἁμαρτωλῷ. 13 “ But the tax collector stood at a distance and dared not even lift his eyes to {NEQ} heaven as he prayed . Instead , he beat his {NEQ} chest in sorrow , saying , ‘ {NEQ} O God , be merciful to me , for I am a sinner . ’
Luke.18:22 22ἀκούσας δέ, ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτῷ, ̓Έτι ἕν σοι λείπει. πάντα ὅσα ἔχεις πώλησον καὶ διάδος πτωχοῖς, καὶ ἕξεις θησαυρὸν ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς. καὶ δεῦρο, ἀκολούθει μοι. 22 {NEQ} When {NEQ} Jesus heard his answer , he said {RPT} , “ There is still one thing you haven’t done . Sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor , and you will have treasure in {NEQ} heaven . Then come , follow me . ”
Luke.19:38 38λέγοντες, Εὐλογημένος ὁ ἐρχόμενος, ὁ βασιλεύς ἐν ὀνόματι κυρίου· ἐν οὐρανῷ εἰρήνη, καὶ δόξα ἐν ὑψίστοις. 38 “ Blessings on the King who comes in the name of the LORD ! Peace in heaven , and glory in highest heaven ! ”  * 
Luke.20:4 4Τὸ βάπτισμα Ἰωάνου ἐξ οὐρανοῦ ἦν, ἢ ἐξ ἀνθρώπων; 4 “ Did John’s authority to {NEQ} baptize come from heaven , or was it merely human ? ”
Luke.20:5 5οἱ δὲ συνελογίσαντο πρὸς ἑαυτούς. λέγοντες ὅτι, Ἐὰν εἴπωμεν, Ἐξ οὐρανοῦ· ἐρεῖ, Διὰ τί οὐκ ἐπιστεύσατε αὐτῷ; 5 {NEQ} {NEQ} They talked it over among themselves . “ If we say it was from heaven , he will ask why we didn’t believe John .
Luke.21:11 11σεισμοί, τε μεγάλοι καὶ κατὰ τόπους, λιμοὶ καὶ λοιμοὶ ἔσονται, φόβηθρά τε καὶ ἀπ᾽ οὐρανοῦ σημεῖα μεγάλα ἔσται. 11 {NEQ} There will be great earthquakes , and there will be famines and plagues in many lands , and there will be terrifying things and great miraculous signs from heaven .
Luke.21:26 26ἀποψυχόντων ἀνθρώπων ἀπὸ φόβου καὶ προσδοκίας τῶν ἐπερχομένων τῇ οἰκουμένῃ, αἱ γὰρ δυνάμεις τῶν οὐρανῶν σαλευθήσονται. 26 People will be terrified at {NEQ} what they see coming upon the earth , for the powers in the heavens will be shaken .
Luke.21:33 33ὁ οὐρανὸς καὶ ἡ γῆ παρελεύσονται, οἱ δὲ λόγοι μου οὐ μὴ παρελεύσονται. 33 {NEQ} Heaven and {NEQ} earth will disappear , but my {NEQ} words will never disappear .
Luke.22:43 43ὤφθη δὲ αὐτῷ ἄγγελος ἀπὸ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἐνισχύων αὐτόν. 43 Then an angel from {NEQ} heaven appeared {RPT} and strengthened him .
Luke.24:51 51καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ εὐλογεῖν αὐτὸν αὐτούς, διέστη ἀπ᾽ αὐτῶν καὶ ἀνεφέρετο εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν. 51 {NEQ} {NEQ} While he was blessing them , he left them and was taken up to {NEQ} heaven .  * 
John.1:32 32καὶ ἐμαρτύρησεν Ἰωάνης λέγων ὅτι, Τεθέαμαι τὸ πνεῦμα καταβαῖνον ὡς περιστερὰν ἐξ οὐρανοῦ καὶ ἔμεινεν ἐπ᾽ αὐτόν. 32 Then John testified , “ I saw the Holy Spirit descending like a dove from heaven and resting upon him .
John.1:51 51καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ, Ἀμὴν ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, ὄψεσθε τὸν οὐρανὸν ἀνεῳγότα καὶ τοὺς ἀγγέλους τοῦ θεοῦ ἀναβαίνοντας καὶ καταβαίνοντας ἐπὶ τὸν υἱὸν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου. 51 Then he said {RPT} , “ I tell you the truth , you will all see {NEQ} heaven open and the angels of {NEQ} God going up and down on the Son of {NEQ} Man , the one who is the stairway between heaven and earth .  *  ”
John.3:13 13καὶ οὐδεὶς ἀναβέβηκεν εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν· εἰ μὴ ὁ ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καταβὰς ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου. 13 {NEQ} No one has ever gone to {NEQ} heaven and returned . But the Son of {NEQ} Man  *  {NEQ} has come down from {NEQ} heaven .
John.3:27 27ἀπεκρίθη Ἰωάνης καὶ εἶπεν, Οὐ δύναται ἄνθρωπος λαμβάνειν οὐδὲ ἓν ἐὰν μὴ ᾖ δεδομένον αὐτῷ ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ. 27 John replied , “ No one can receive anything unless God gives it {RPT} from {NEQ} heaven .
John.3:31 31ὁ ἄνωθεν ἐρχόμενος ἐπάνω πάντων ἐστίν. ὁ ὢν ἐκ τῆς γῆς ἐκ τῆς γῆς ἐστίν, καὶ ἐκ τῆς γῆς λαλεῖ, ὁ ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἐρχόμενος ἐπάνω πάντων ἐστίν· 31 “ He has come from above and is greater than anyone else . We are of the earth {RPT} {RPT} {RPT} {RPT} , and we speak of {NEQ} earthly things , but he has come from {NEQ} heaven and is greater than anyone else .  * 
John.6:31 31οἱ πατέρες ἡμῶν τὸ μάννα ἔφαγον ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ· καθώς ἐστιν γεγραμμένον, ̓Άρτον ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἔδωκεν αὐτοῖς φαγεῖν. 31 After all , our {NEQ} ancestors ate {NEQ} manna while they journeyed through the wilderness ! {NEQ} The Scriptures say , ‘ Moses gave them bread from {NEQ} heaven to eat . ’  *  ”
John.6:32 32εἶπεν οὖν αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς, Ἀμὴν ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, οὐ Μωυσῆς δέδωκεν ὑμῖν τὸν ἄρτον ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ· ἀλλ᾽ ὁ πατήρ μου δίδωσιν ὑμῖν τὸν ἄρτον ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ τὸν ἀληθινόν. 32 {NEQ} {NEQ} Jesus said {RPT} , “ I tell you the truth , Moses didn’t give you {NEQ} bread from {NEQ} heaven . {NEQ} My {NEQ} Father did . And now he offers you the {RPT} true bread from {NEQ} heaven .
John.6:33 33ὁ γὰρ ἄρτος τοῦ θεοῦ ἐστὶν ὁ καταβαίνων ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ ζωὴν διδοὺς τῷ κόσμῳ. 33 {NEQ} The true bread of {NEQ} God is the one who comes down from {NEQ} heaven and gives life to the world . ”
John.6:38 38ὅτι καταβέβηκα ἀπὸ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ οὐχ ἵνα ποιῶ τὸ θέλημα τὸ ἐμόν, ἀλλὰ τὸ θέλημα τοῦ πέμψαντός με. 38 For I have come down from {NEQ} heaven to do {NEQ} the will of God who sent me , not to do {RPT} my own {RPT} will .
John.6:41 41ἐγόγγυζον οὖν οἱ Ἰουδαῖοι περὶ αὐτοῦ ὅτι εἶπεν, Ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ ἄρτος ὁ καταβὰς ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ. 41 Then the people  *  began to murmur in disagreement because he had said , “ I am the bread that came down from {NEQ} heaven . ”
John.6:42 42καὶ ἔλεγον, Οὐχὶ οὗτός ἐστιν Ἰησοῦς, ὁ υἱὸς Ἰωσήφ; οὗ ἡμεῖς οἴδαμεν τὸν πατέρα καὶ τὴν μητέρα. πῶς νῦν λέγει ὅτι, Ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καταβέβηκα; 42 {NEQ} They said , “ Isn’t this Jesus , the son of Joseph ? We know his {NEQ} father and {NEQ} mother . How can he say , ‘ I came down from {NEQ} heaven ’ ? ”
John.6:50 50οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ ἄρτος ὁ ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καταβαίνων ἵνα τις ἐξ αὐτοῦ φάγῃ, καί, μὴ ἀποθάνῃ. 50 {RPT} {NEQ} {NEQ} Anyone who eats {NEQ} {RPT} the bread {RPT} from {NEQ} heaven , however , will never die .
John.6:51 51ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ ἄρτος ὁ ζῶν ὁ ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καταβάς. ἐάν τις φάγῃ ἐκ τούτου τοῦ ἄρτου ζήσει εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα· καὶ ὁ ἄρτος δέ, ὃν ἐγὼ δώσω, ἡ σάρξ μου ἐστὶν ὑπὲρ τῆς τοῦ κόσμου ζωῆς. 51 I am the {RPT} living bread that came down from {NEQ} heaven . {NEQ} Anyone who eats this {NEQ} bread will live forever ; {NEQ} and this bread , which I will offer so the world may live , is my {NEQ} flesh . ”
John.6:58 58οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ ἄρτος ὁ ἐξ οὐρανοῦ καταβάς. οὐ καθὼς ἔφαγον οἱ πατέρες, καὶ ἀπέθανον, ὁ τρώγων τοῦτον τὸν ἄρτον ζήσει εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα. 58 I am the true bread that came down from heaven . Anyone who eats this {NEQ} bread {NEQ} will not die as your ancestors did ( even though they ate the manna ) but will live forever . ”
John.12:28 28Πάτερ, δόξασόν σου τὸ ὄνομα. ἦλθεν οὖν φωνὴ ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ, Καὶ ἐδόξασα, καὶ πάλιν δοξάσω. 28 Father , bring glory to your {NEQ} name . ” Then a voice spoke from {NEQ} heaven , saying , “ I have already brought glory to my name , and I will do so again . ”
John.17:1 1ταῦτα ἐλάλησεν Ἰησοῦς, καὶ ἐπάρας τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν εἶπεν, Πάτερ, ἐλήλυθεν ἡ ὥρα· δόξασόν σου τὸν υἱὸν ἵνα ὁ υἱὸς δοξάσῃ σέ. 17:1 After saying all these things , Jesus {NEQ} looked up {RPT} to {NEQ} heaven and said , “ Father , the hour has come . Glorify your {NEQ} Son so he can give glory back to you .
Acts.1:10 10καὶ ὡς ἀτενίζοντες ἦσαν εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν πορευομένου αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἰδοὺ ἄνδρες δύο παρειστήκεισαν αὐτοῖς ἐν ἐσθήσεσι λευκαῖς. 10 {NEQ} As they strained to see him rising into {NEQ} heaven , {NEQ} two white-robed men suddenly stood among them .
Acts.1:11 11οἳ καὶ εἶπαν, ̓Άνδρες Γαλιλαῖοι, τί ἑστήκατε βλέποντες εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν; οὗτος ὁ Ἰησοῦς ὁ ἀναλημφθεὶς ἀφ᾽ ὑμῶν εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν, οὕτως ἐλεύσεται ὃν τρόπον ἐθεάσασθε αὐτὸν πορευόμενον εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν. 11 “ Men of Galilee , ” {RPT} {NEQ} they said , “ why are you standing here staring into {NEQ} heaven ? {RPT} {RPT} {RPT} Jesus has been taken from you into {NEQ} heaven , but someday he will return from heaven {RPT} in the same way you saw him go ! ”
Acts.2:2 2καὶ ἐγένετο, ἄφνω ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἦχος ὥσπερ φερομένης πνοῆς βιαίας, καὶ ἐπλήρωσεν ὅλον τὸν οἶκον οὗ ἦσαν καθήμενοι. 2 {NEQ} Suddenly , there was a sound from {NEQ} heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm , and it filled the house where they were sitting .
Acts.2:5 5ἦσαν δὲ ἐν Ἰερουσαλὴμ κατοικοῦντες Ἰουδαῖοι ἄνδρες εὐλαβεῖς ἀπὸ παντὸς ἔθνους τῶν ὑπὸ τὸν οὐρανόν. 5 At that time there were devout Jews from every nation living in Jerusalem .
Acts.2:19 19καὶ δώσω τέρατα ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ ἄνω καὶ σημεῖα ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς κάτω— αἷμα καὶ πῦρ καὶ ἀτμίδα καπνοῦ. 19 And I will cause wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below — blood and fire and clouds of smoke .
Acts.2:34 34οὐ γὰρ Δαυεὶδ ἀνέβη εἰς τοὺς οὐρανούς, λέγει δὲ αὐτός, Εἶπεν ὁ κύριος τῷ κυρίῳ μου, Κάθου ἐκ δεξιῶν μου 34 For David himself never ascended into {NEQ} heaven , yet he said , ‘ The LORD said to my {NEQ} Lord , “ Sit in the place of honor at my right hand
Acts.3:21 21ὃν δεῖ οὐρανὸν μὲν δέξασθαι ἄχρι χρόνων ἀποκαταστάσεως πάντων, ὧν ἐλάλησεν ὁ θεὸς διὰ στόματος τῶν ἁγίων ἀπ᾽ αἰῶνος αὐτοῦ προφητῶν. 21 For he must remain in heaven {NEQ} until the time for the final restoration of all things , {RPT} as {NEQ} God promised long ago through his {NEQ} holy prophets .
Acts.4:12 12καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἐν ἄλλῳ οὐδενὶ ἡ σωτηρία· οὐδὲ γὰρ ὄνομά ἐστιν ἕτερον ὑπὸ τὸν οὐρανὸν τὸ δεδομένον ἐν ἀνθρώποις ἐν ᾧ δεῖ σωθῆναι ἡμᾶς. 12 {NEQ} There is {NEQ} salvation in no one else ! {NEQ} God has {NEQ} given no other name under {NEQ} heaven by which we must be saved . ”
Acts.4:24 24οἱ δὲ ἀκούσαντες, ὁμοθυμαδὸν ἦραν φωνὴν πρὸς τὸν θεὸν καὶ εἶπαν· Δέσποτα, σὺ ὁ ποιήσας τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ τὴν γῆν, καὶ τὴν θάλασσαν, καὶ πάντα τὰ ἐν αὐτοῖς— 24 {NEQ} When they heard the report , all the believers lifted their voices together in prayer to {NEQ} God : {NEQ} “ O Sovereign Lord , {RPT} Creator of {NEQ} heaven and {NEQ} earth , {NEQ} the sea , and everything in them —
Acts.7:42 42ἔστρεψεν δὲ ὁ θεὸς καὶ παρέδωκεν αὐτοὺς λατρεύειν τῇ στρατιᾷ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ. καθὼς γέγραπται ἐν βίβλῳ τῶν προφητῶν, Μὴ σφάγια καὶ θυσίας προσηνέγκατέ μοι ἔτη τεσσεράκοντα ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ, οἶκος Ἰσραήλ; 42 Then {NEQ} God turned away from them and abandoned them to serve the stars of {NEQ} heaven as their gods ! In the book of the prophets {NEQ} it is written , ‘ Was it to me you were bringing sacrifices and offerings during those forty years in the wilderness , Israel ?
Acts.7:49 49Ὁ οὐρανός μοι θρόνος, καὶ ἡ γῆ ὑποπόδιον τῶν ποδῶν μου. Ποῖον οἶκον οἰκοδομήσετέ μοι; λέγει κύριος· ̓Ὴ τίς τόπος τῆς καταπαύσεώς μου; 49 ‘ {NEQ} Heaven is my throne , and the earth is my footstool . Could you build me a temple as good as that ? ’ asks the LORD . ‘ Could you build me such a {NEQ} resting place ?
Acts.7:55 55ὑπάρχων δὲ πλήρης πνεύματος ἁγίου, ἀτενίσας εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν εἶδεν δόξαν θεοῦ, καὶ Ἰησοῦν ἑστῶτα ἐκ δεξιῶν τοῦ θεοῦ. 55 But Stephen , full of the Holy Spirit , gazed steadily into {NEQ} heaven and saw the glory of God , and he saw Jesus standing in the place of honor at {NEQ} God’s right hand .
Acts.7:56 56καὶ εἶπεν, Ἰδού, θεωρῶ τοὺς οὐρανοὺς διηνοιγμένους καὶ τὸν υἱὸν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐκ δεξιῶν ἑστῶτα τοῦ θεοῦ. 56 And he told them , “ Look , I see the heavens opened and the Son of {NEQ} Man standing in the place of honor at {NEQ} God’s right hand ! ”
Acts.9:3 3ἐν δὲ τῷ πορεύεσθαι ἐγένετο αὐτὸν ἐγγίζειν τῇ Δαμασκῷ, ἐξαίφνης τε αὐτὸν περιήστραψεν φῶς ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ. 3 {NEQ} As he was approaching {NEQ} Damascus on this mission , {NEQ} a light from {NEQ} heaven suddenly shone down around him .
Acts.10:11 11καὶ θεωρεῖ τὸν οὐρανὸν ἀνεῳγμένον, καὶ καταβαῖνον σκεῦός τι ὡς ὀθόνην μεγάλην τέσσαρσιν ἀρχαῖς καθιέμενον ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς· 11 {NEQ} He saw the sky open , and something like a large sheet was let down by its four corners .
Acts.10:12 12ἐν ᾧ ὑπῆρχεν πάντα τὰ τετράποδα καὶ ἑρπετὰ τῆς γῆς, καὶ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ. 12 In the sheet were all sorts of {NEQ} animals , {NEQ} reptiles , and birds .
Acts.10:16 16τοῦτο δὲ ἐγένετο ἐπὶ τρίς· καὶ εὐθὺς ἀνελήμφθη τὸ σκεῦος εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν. 16 {NEQ} The same vision was repeated three times . Then the sheet was suddenly pulled up to {NEQ} heaven .
Acts.11:5 5Ἐγὼ ἤμην ἐν πόλει Ἰόππῃ, προσευχόμενος, καὶ εἶδον ἐν ἐκστάσει ὅραμα· καταβαῖνον σκεῦός τι ὡς ὀθόνην μεγάλην τέσσαρσιν ἀρχαῖς καθιεμένην ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ. καὶ ἦλθεν ἄχρι ἐμοῦ. 5   “ I was in the town of Joppa , ” he said , “ and while I was praying , {NEQ} I went into a trance and saw a vision . {RPT} Something like a large sheet was let down by its four corners from the sky . And it came right down to me .
Acts.11:6 6εἰς ἣν ἀτενίσας κατενόουν, καὶ εἶδον τὰ τετράποδα τῆς γῆς, καὶ τὰ θηρία, καὶ τὰ ἑρπετά, καὶ τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ. 6 When I looked inside the sheet , {NEQ} I saw all sorts of {NEQ} tame and {NEQ} wild animals , {NEQ} {NEQ} reptiles , and {NEQ} birds .
Acts.11:9 9ἀπεκρίθη δὲ ἐκ δευτέρου φωνὴ ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ· ̔Ὰ ὁ θεὸς ἐκαθάρισεν σὺ μὴ κοίνου. 9 “ But the voice from {NEQ} heaven spoke again : ‘ {RPT} Do not call something unclean if {NEQ} God has made it clean . ’
Acts.11:10 10τοῦτο δὲ ἐγένετο ἐπὶ τρὶς καὶ ἀνεσπάσθη πάλιν ἅπαντα εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν. 10 {NEQ} This happened three times before the sheet and all it contained was pulled back up to {NEQ} heaven .
Acts.14:15 15καὶ λέγοντες, ̓Άνδρες, τί ταῦτα ποιεῖτε; καὶ ἡμεῖς ὁμοιοπαθεῖς ἐσμὲν ὑμῖν ἄνθρωποι· εὐαγγελιζόμενοι ὑμᾶς ἀπὸ τούτων τῶν ματαίων ἐπιστρέφειν ἐπὶ θεὸν ζῶντα, ὃς ἐποίησεν τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ τὴν γῆν, καὶ τὴν θάλασσαν, καὶ πάντα τὰ ἐν αὐτοῖς. 15 {NEQ} “ Friends ,  *  why are you doing this ? {NEQ} We are merely human beings — just like you ! We have come to bring you the Good News that you should turn from these {NEQ} worthless things and turn to the living God , who made {NEQ} heaven and {NEQ} earth , {NEQ} the sea , and everything in them .
Acts.17:24 24ὁ θεὸς ὁ ποιήσας τὸν κόσμον καὶ πάντα τὰ ἐν αὐτῷ. οὗτος οὐρανοῦ καὶ γῆς ὑπάρχων κύριος, οὐκ ἐν χειροποιήτοις ναοῖς κατοικεῖ, 24 “ He is the God who made the world and everything in it . Since he is Lord of heaven and earth , he doesn’t live in man-made temples ,
Acts.22:6 6ἐγένετο δέ μοι πορευομένῳ, καὶ ἐγγίζοντι τῇ Δαμασκῷ περὶ μεσημβρίαν, ἐξαίφνης ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ περιαστράψαι φῶς ἱκανὸν περὶ ἐμέ. 6 “ {NEQ} {NEQ} As I was on the road , {NEQ} approaching {NEQ} Damascus about noon , a very bright light from {NEQ} heaven suddenly shone down around {RPT} me .
Rom.1:18 18ἀποκαλύπτεται γὰρ ὀργὴ θεοῦ ἀπ᾽ οὐρανοῦ ἐπὶ πᾶσαν ἀσέβειαν, καὶ ἀδικίαν ἀνθρώπων τῶν τὴν ἀλήθειαν ἐν ἀδικίᾳ κατεχόντων, 18 But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful , {NEQ} wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness .  * 
Rom.10:6 6ἡ δὲ ἐκ πίστεως δικαιοσύνη οὕτως λέγει, Μὴ εἴπῃς ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ σου, Τίς ἀναβήσεται εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν; (τοῦτ᾽ ἔστιν Χριστὸν καταγαγεῖν.) 6 But {NEQ} {NEQ} faith’s way of getting right with God {NEQ} says , “ Don’t say in your {NEQ} heart , ‘ Who will go up to {NEQ} heaven ? ’ ( {NEQ} {NEQ} to bring Christ down to earth ) .
1Cor.8:5 5καὶ γὰρ εἴπερ εἰσὶν λεγόμενοι θεοὶ εἴτε ἐν οὐρανῷ εἴτε ἐπὶ γῆς, ὥσπερ εἰσὶν θεοὶ πολλοὶ καὶ κύριοι πολλοί· 5 {NEQ} {NEQ} There may be so-called gods both in heaven and on earth , and some people actually worship many gods and many lords .
1Cor.15:47 47ὁ πρῶτος ἄνθρωπος, ἐκ γῆς χοϊκός, ὁ δεύτερος ἄνθρωπος, ἐξ οὐρανοῦ. 47 Adam , the first man , was made from the dust of the earth , while Christ , the second man , came from heaven .
2Cor.5:1 1οἴδαμεν γὰρ ὅτι ἐὰν ἡ ἐπίγειος ἡμῶν οἰκία τοῦ σκήνους καταλυθῇ, οἰκοδομὴν ἐκ θεοῦ ἔχομεν, οἰκίαν ἀχειροποίητον αἰώνιον ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς. 5:1 For we know that when this earthly {NEQ} tent we live in is taken down ( that is , when we die and leave this earthly body ) , we will have a house in {NEQ} heaven , an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands .
2Cor.5:2 2καὶ γὰρ ἐν τούτῳ στενάζομεν, τὸ οἰκητήριον ἡμῶν τὸ ἐξ οὐρανοῦ ἐπενδύσασθαι ἐπιποθοῦντες· 2 {NEQ} {NEQ} We grow weary in our present bodies , and we long to put on {RPT} our heavenly bodies like new clothing .
2Cor.12:2 2οἶδα ἄνθρωπον ἐν Χριστῷ πρὸ ἐτῶν δεκατεσσάρων· εἴτε ἐν σώματι οὐκ οἶδα εἴτε ἐκτὸς τοῦ σώματος οὐκ οἶδα— ὁ θεὸς οἶδεν— ἁρπαγέντα τὸν τοιοῦτον ἕως τρίτου οὐρανοῦ. 2 {NEQ} I {NEQ} {NEQ} {NEQ} {NEQ}  *  was caught up to the third heaven fourteen years ago . Whether {RPT} {NEQ} I was in my body or out of my body , I don’t know — only {NEQ} God knows .
Gal.1:8 8ἀλλὰ καὶ ἐὰν ἡμεῖς ἢ ἄγγελος ἐξ οὐρανοῦ, εὐαγγελίζηται ὑμῖν παρ᾽ ὃ εὐηγγελισάμεθα ὑμῖν, ἀνάθεμα ἔστω. 8 Let God’s curse fall on anyone , including us or even an angel from heaven , who preaches a different kind of Good News than {RPT} the one we preached to you .
Eph.1:10 10εἰς οἰκονομίαν τοῦ πληρώματος τῶν καιρῶν, ἀνακεφαλαιώσασθαι τὰ πάντα ἐν τῷ Χριστῷ— τὰ ἐπὶ τοῖς οὐρανοῖς καὶ τὰ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς. 10 And this is the plan : At the right {NEQ} time he will bring everything together under the authority of {NEQ} Christ — everything in {NEQ} heaven and {RPT} on {NEQ} earth .
Eph.3:15 15ἐξ οὗ πᾶσα πατριὰ ἐν οὐρανοῖς καὶ ἐπὶ γῆς ὀνομάζεται· 15 the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth .  * 
Eph.4:10 10ὁ καταβὰς αὐτός ἐστιν καὶ ὁ ἀναβὰς ὑπεράνω πάντων τῶν οὐρανῶν, ἵνα πληρώσῃ τὰ πάντα. 10 And the same one who descended is {NEQ} the one who ascended higher than all the heavens , so that he might fill the entire universe with himself .
Eph.6:9 9καὶ οἱ κύριοι, τὰ αὐτὰ ποιεῖτε πρὸς αὐτούς· ἀνιέντες τὴν ἀπειλήν, εἰδότες, ὅτι καὶ αὐτῶν καὶ ὑμῶν ὁ κύριός ἐστιν ἐν οὐρανοῖς, καὶ προσωπολημψία οὐκ ἔστιν παρ᾽ αὐτῷ. 9 {NEQ} {NEQ} Masters , treat your slaves in the same way . Don’t {NEQ} threaten them ; remember , {NEQ} you both have the same Master in heaven , and he has no favorites .
Phil.3:20 20ἡμῶν γὰρ τὸ πολίτευμα ἐν οὐρανοῖς ὑπάρχει, ἐξ οὗ καὶ σωτῆρα ἀπεκδεχόμεθα, κύριον Ἰησοῦν Χριστόν· 20 But we are {NEQ} citizens of heaven , where the Lord Jesus Christ lives . And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior .
Col.1:5 5διὰ τὴν ἐλπίδα τὴν ἀποκειμένην ὑμῖν ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς· ἣν προηκούσατε ἐν τῷ λόγῳ τῆς ἀληθείας τοῦ εὐαγγελίου· 5 which come from your confident hope of what God has reserved for you in {NEQ} heaven . {RPT} You have had this expectation ever since you first heard the truth of the Good News .
Col.1:16 16ὅτι ἐν αὐτῷ ἐκτίσθη τὰ πάντα ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς· τὰ ὁρατὰ καὶ τὰ ἀόρατα— εἴτε θρόνοι, εἴτε κυριότητες, εἴτε ἀρχαί, εἴτε ἐξουσίαι· τὰ πάντα δι᾽ αὐτοῦ καὶ εἰς αὐτὸν ἔκτισται· 16 for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on {NEQ} earth . He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see — such as thrones , {RPT} kingdoms , {RPT} rulers , and authorities in the unseen world . Everything was created through him and for him .
Col.1:20 20καὶ δι᾽ αὐτοῦ ἀποκαταλλάξαι τὰ πάντα εἰς αὐτόν· εἰρηνοποιήσας διὰ τοῦ αἵματος τοῦ σταυροῦ αὐτοῦ δι᾽ αὐτοῦ εἴτε τὰ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς εἴτε τὰ ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς. 20 and through him God reconciled everything to himself . He made peace with {NEQ} everything {RPT} {RPT} {RPT} in {NEQ} heaven and on {NEQ} earth by means of Christ’s {RPT} blood on the cross .
Col.1:23 23εἴ γε ἐπιμένετε τῇ πίστει τεθεμελιωμένοι καὶ ἑδραῖοι· καὶ μὴ μετακινούμενοι ἀπὸ τῆς ἐλπίδος τοῦ εὐαγγελίου οὗ ἠκούσατε· τοῦ κηρυχθέντος ἐν πάσῃ κτίσει τῇ ὑπὸ τὸν οὐρανόν, οὗ ἐγενόμην ἐγώ, Παῦλος, διάκονος. 23 But you must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it . {NEQ} Don’t drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News . The Good News {NEQ} has been preached all over the world , and I , Paul , have been appointed as God’s servant to proclaim it .
Col.4:1 1οἱ κύριοι, τὸ δίκαιον καὶ τὴν ἰσότητα τοῖς δούλοις παρέχεσθε· εἰδότες ὅτι καὶ ὑμεῖς ἔχετε κύριον— ἐν οὐρανῷ. 4:1 {NEQ} Masters , be {NEQ} just and {NEQ} fair to your slaves . Remember that you also have a Master — in heaven .
1Thes.1:10 10καὶ ἀναμένειν τὸν υἱὸν αὐτοῦ ἐκ τῶν οὐρανῶν— ὃν ἤγειρεν ἐκ τῶν νεκρῶν· Ἰησοῦν τὸν ῥυόμενον ἡμᾶς ἐκ τῆς ὀργῆς τῆς ἐρχομένης. 10 And they speak of how you are looking forward to the coming of God’s {NEQ} Son from {NEQ} heaven — Jesus , whom God raised from the dead . He is the one who has rescued us from the terrors of the coming judgment .
1Thes.4:16 16ὅτι αὐτὸς ὁ κύριος ἐν κελεύσματι, ἐν φωνῇ ἀρχαγγέλου, καὶ ἐν σάλπιγγι θεοῦ, καταβήσεται ἀπ᾽ οὐρανοῦ· καὶ οἱ νεκροὶ ἐν Χριστῷ ἀναστήσονται, πρῶτον· 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout , with the voice of the archangel , and with the trumpet call of God . First , {NEQ} the Christians who have died  *  will rise from their graves .
2Thes.1:7 7καὶ ὑμῖν τοῖς θλιβομένοις ἄνεσιν μεθ᾽ ἡμῶν ἐν τῇ ἀποκαλύψει τοῦ κυρίου Ἰησοῦ ἀπ᾽ οὐρανοῦ· μετ᾽ ἀγγέλων δυνάμεως αὐτοῦ, 7 And God will provide rest for you who are being persecuted and also for us when the Lord Jesus {NEQ} appears from heaven . He will come with his mighty angels ,
Heb.1:10 10καί, Σὺ κατ᾽ ἀρχάς, κύριε, τὴν γῆν ἐθεμελίωσας καὶ ἔργα τῶν χειρῶν σού εἰσιν οἱ οὐρανοί· 10 He also says to the Son , “ In the beginning , Lord , you laid the foundation of the earth and made the heavens with your {NEQ} hands .
Heb.4:14 14ἔχοντες οὖν, ἀρχιερέα μέγαν διεληλυθότα τοὺς οὐρανούς, Ἰησοῦν τὸν υἱὸν τοῦ θεοῦ, κρατῶμεν τῆς ὁμολογίας. 14 So then , since we have a great High Priest who has entered {NEQ} heaven , Jesus the Son of {NEQ} God , let us hold firmly to {NEQ} what we believe .
Heb.7:26 26τοιοῦτος γὰρ ἡμῖν καὶ ἔπρεπεν ἀρχιερεὺς ὅσιος ἄκακος, ἀμίαντος· κεχωρισμένος ἀπὸ τῶν ἁμαρτωλῶν, καὶ ὑψηλότερος τῶν οὐρανῶν γενόμενος· 26 {NEQ} He is the kind of high priest we need because he is holy and blameless , unstained by sin . He has been set apart from {NEQ} sinners and has been given the highest place of honor in {NEQ} heaven .  * 
Heb.8:1 1κεφάλαιον δὲ ἐπὶ τοῖς λεγομένοις· τοιοῦτον ἔχομεν ἀρχιερέα ὃς ἐκάθισεν ἐν δεξιᾷ τοῦ θρόνου τῆς μεγαλωσύνης ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς· 8:1 Here is the main point : We have {NEQ} a High Priest who sat down in the place of honor beside the throne of the majestic God in {NEQ} heaven .
Heb.9:23 23ἀνάγκη οὖν τὰ μὲν ὑποδείγματα τῶν ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς, τούτοις καθαρίζεσθαι· αὐτὰ δὲ τὰ ἐπουράνια κρείττοσι θυσίαις παρὰ ταύτας. 23 That is why the Tabernacle and everything in it , which were {NEQ} copies of things in {NEQ} heaven , had to be purified by the blood of animals . But the real things in heaven {RPT} had to be purified with far better sacrifices than the blood of animals .
Heb.9:24 24οὐ γὰρ εἰς χειροποίητα εἰσῆλθεν ἅγια Χριστός, ἀντίτυπα τῶν ἀληθινῶν· ἀλλ᾽ εἰς αὐτὸν τὸν οὐρανὸν νῦν ἐμφανισθῆναι τῷ προσώπῳ τοῦ θεοῦ ὑπὲρ ἡμῶν· 24 For Christ did not enter into a holy place made with human hands , which was only a copy of the true one in heaven . {NEQ} He entered into {NEQ} heaven itself to appear now before {NEQ} God on our behalf .
Heb.11:12 12διὸ καὶ ἀφ᾽ ἑνὸς ἐγεννήθησαν καὶ ταῦτα νενεκρωμένου— καθὼς τὰ ἄστρα τοῦ οὐρανοῦ τῷ πλήθει καὶ ὡς ἡ ἄμμος ἡ παρὰ τὸ χεῖλος τῆς θαλάσσης, ἡ ἀναρίθμητος. 12 And so a whole nation came from this one man who {NEQ} {RPT} was as good as dead — {NEQ} a nation with so many people that , like the stars in the sky and {RPT} the sand {RPT} on the seashore , {NEQ} there is no way to count them .
Heb.12:23 23καὶ ἐκκλησίᾳ πρωτοτόκων, ἀπογεγραμμένων ἐν οὐρανοῖς· καὶ κριτῇ θεῷ, πάντων· καὶ πνεύμασι δικαίων τετελειωμένων· 23 {NEQ} You have come to the assembly of God’s firstborn children , whose names are written in heaven . You have come to God himself , {NEQ} who is the judge over all things . {NEQ} You have come to the spirits of the righteous ones in heaven who have now been made perfect .
Heb.12:25 25βλέπετε μὴ παραιτήσησθε τὸν λαλοῦντα· εἰ γὰρ ἐκεῖνοι οὐκ ἐξέφυγον, ἐπὶ γῆς παραιτησάμενοι τὸν χρηματίζοντα, πολὺ μᾶλλον ἡμεῖς οἱ τὸν ἀπ᾽ οὐρανῶν ἀποστρεφόμενοι· 25 Be careful that you do not refuse to listen to the One who is speaking . For if the people of Israel did not escape when they refused to listen to Moses , the earthly messenger , we will certainly not escape if we reject the One who speaks to us from heaven !
Heb.12:26 26οὗ ἡ φωνὴ τὴν γῆν ἐσάλευσεν τότε, νῦν δὲ ἐπήγγελται λέγων· ̓Έτι ἅπαξ ἐγὼ σείσω οὐ μόνον τὴν γῆν ἀλλὰ καὶ τὸν οὐρανόν. 26 When God spoke from Mount Sinai his {NEQ} voice shook the earth , but now he makes another promise : “ Once again I will shake not only the earth but the heavens also . ”  * 
Jas.5:12 12πρὸ πάντων δέ, ἀδελφοί μου, μὴ ὀμνύετε, μήτε τὸν οὐρανὸν μήτε τὴν γῆν μήτε ἄλλον τινὰ ὅρκον· ἤτω δὲ ὑμῶν τὸ ναὶ ναὶ καὶ τὸ οὒ οὔ, ἵνα μὴ ὑπὸ κρίσιν πέσητε. 12 But most of all , my brothers and sisters , never take an oath , {NEQ} by {NEQ} heaven or {NEQ} earth or anything else . Just {RPT} say a simple yes or {RPT} no , so that you will not sin and be condemned .
Jas.5:18 18καί, πάλιν προσηύξατο, καὶ ὁ οὐρανὸς ὑετὸν ἔδωκεν καὶ ἡ γῆ ἐβλάστησεν τὸν καρπὸν αὐτῆς. 18 Then , when he prayed again , {NEQ} the sky sent down rain and the earth began to yield its {NEQ} crops .
1Pet.1:4 4εἰς κληρονομίαν— ἄφθαρτον καὶ ἀμίαντον, καὶ ἀμάραντον— τετηρημένην ἐν οὐρανοῖς εἰς ὑμᾶς· 4 and we have a priceless inheritance — an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you , pure and {NEQ} undefiled , beyond the reach of change and decay .
1Pet.1:12 12οἷς ἀπεκαλύφθη ὅτι οὐχ ἑαυτοῖς, ὑμῖν δὲ διηκόνουν αὐτά· ἃ νῦν ἀνηγγέλη ὑμῖν διὰ τῶν εὐαγγελισαμένων ὑμᾶς ἐν πνεύματι ἁγίῳ ἀποσταλέντι ἀπ᾽ οὐρανοῦ· εἰς ἃ ἐπιθυμοῦσιν ἄγγελοι παρακύψαι. 12 They were told that their messages were not for themselves , but for you . And now this Good News {RPT} has been announced to you by those who preached {RPT} in the power of the Holy Spirit sent from heaven . It is all so wonderful that even the angels are eagerly watching these things happen .
1Pet.3:22 22ὅς ἐστιν ἐν δεξιᾷ τοῦ θεοῦ, πορευθεὶς εἰς οὐρανόν· ὑποταγέντων αὐτῷ ἀγγέλων καὶ ἐξουσιῶν καὶ δυνάμεων. 22 Now Christ has gone to heaven . He is seated in the place of honor next to {NEQ} God , and all the angels and authorities and powers accept his authority .
2Pet.1:18 18καὶ ταύτην τὴν φωνὴν ἡμεῖς ἠκούσαμεν ἐξ οὐρανοῦ ἐνεχθεῖσαν σὺν αὐτῷ ὄντες ἐν τῷ ἁγίῳ ὄρει. 18 {NEQ} We ourselves heard that {NEQ} voice from heaven when we were with him on the holy mountain .
2Pet.3:5 5λανθάνει γὰρ αὐτοὺς τοῦτο θέλοντας, ὅτι οὐρανοὶ ἦσαν ἔκπαλαι καὶ γῆ ἐξ ὕδατος καὶ δι᾽ ὕδατος συνεστῶσα, τῷ τοῦ θεοῦ λόγῳ· 5 {NEQ} {RPT} They deliberately forget that God made the heavens by the word of his command , and he brought the earth out from the water and surrounded it with water .
2Pet.3:7 7οἱ δὲ νῦν οὐρανοὶ καὶ ἡ γῆ, τῷ αὐτῷ λόγῳ, τεθησαυρισμένοι εἰσὶν πυρί· τηρούμενοι εἰς ἡμέραν κρίσεως, καὶ ἀπωλείας τῶν ἀσεβῶν ἀνθρώπων. 7 And by the same word , the present heavens and {NEQ} earth have been stored up for fire . They are being kept for the day of judgment , {NEQ} when {NEQ} ungodly people will be destroyed .
2Pet.3:10 10ἥξει δὲ ἡμέρα κυρίου ὡς κλέπτης· ἐν ᾗ οἱ οὐρανοὶ ῥοιζηδὸν παρελεύσονται, στοιχεῖα δὲ καυσούμενα λυθήσεται, καὶ γῆ καὶ τὰ ἐν αὐτῇ ἔργα εὑρεθήσεται. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief . Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise , and the very elements themselves will disappear in fire , and the earth and everything on it will be found to deserve judgment .  * 
2Pet.3:12 12προσδοκῶντας καὶ σπεύδοντας τὴν παρουσίαν τῆς τοῦ θεοῦ ἡμέρας· δι᾽ ἣν οὐρανοὶ πυρούμενοι λυθήσονται καὶ στοιχεῖα καυσούμενα τήκεται· 12 looking forward to the day of {NEQ} God and hurrying it along . On that day , he will set the heavens on fire , {RPT} and the elements will melt away in the flames .
2Pet.3:13 13καινοὺς δὲ οὐρανοὺς καὶ γῆν καινὴν κατὰ τὸ ἐπάγγελμα αὐτοῦ προσδοκῶμεν, ἐν οἷς δικαιοσύνη κατοικεῖ. 13 But we are looking forward to the new heavens and new earth he has promised , a world filled with God’s righteousness .
Rev.3:12 12ὁ νικῶν ποιήσω αὐτὸν στῦλον ἐν τῷ ναῷ τοῦ θεοῦ μου, καὶ ἔξω οὐ μὴ ἐξέλθῃ ἔτι. καὶ γράψω ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ θεοῦ μου, καὶ τὸ ὄνομα τῆς πόλεως τοῦ θεοῦ μου— τῆς καινῆς Ἰερουσαλὴμ ἡ καταβαίνουσα ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἀπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ μου· καὶ τὸ ὄνομά μου τὸ καινόν. 12 All who are victorious will become {RPT} pillars in the Temple of my {NEQ} God , and they will never have to leave {RPT} it . And I will write on them the name of my {NEQ} God , and they will be citizens in the city of my {NEQ} God — the new Jerusalem that comes down from {NEQ} heaven from my {NEQ} God . And I will also write on them my {RPT} new {RPT} name .
Rev.4:1 1μετὰ ταῦτα εἶδον, καὶ ἰδοὺ θύρα ἠνεῳγμένη ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ, καὶ ἡ φωνὴ ἡ πρώτη ἣν ἤκουσα ὡς σάλπιγγος λαλούσης μετ᾽ ἐμοῦ. λέγων, Ἀνάβα ὧδε, καὶ δείξω σοι ἃ δεῖ γενέσθαι μετὰ ταῦτα. 4:1 Then as I looked , {NEQ} I saw a door standing open in {NEQ} heaven , and the {RPT} same voice {RPT} I had heard before spoke to me like a trumpet blast . The voice said , “ Come up here , and I will show you what must happen after this . ”
Rev.4:2 2εὐθέως ἐγενόμην ἐν πνεύματι, καὶ ἰδοὺ θρόνος ἔκειτο ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν θρόνον καθήμενος. 2 And instantly I was in the Spirit ,  *  and I saw a throne in {NEQ} heaven and someone sitting on it .
Rev.5:3 3καὶ οὐδεὶς ἐδύνατο ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ οὐδὲ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς οὐδὲ ὑποκάτω τῆς γῆς ἀνοῖξαι τὸ βιβλίον οὔτε βλέπειν αὐτό. 3 But no one in {NEQ} heaven or on {NEQ} earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll and read it .
Rev.5:13 13καὶ πᾶν κτίσμα ὃ ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς καὶ ὑποκάτω τῆς γῆς καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς θαλάσσης· καὶ τὰ ἐν αὐτοῖς πάντα ἤκουσα λέγοντας· Τῷ καθημένῳ ἐπὶ τῷ θρόνῳ καὶ τῷ ἀρνίῳ ἡ εὐλογία καὶ ἡ τιμὴ καὶ ἡ δόξα καὶ τὸ κράτος εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων. 13 And then I heard every creature {RPT} in {NEQ} heaven and on {NEQ} earth and under the earth and in the sea {NEQ} {NEQ} {NEQ} {RPT} {RPT} . They sang : “ {RPT} Blessing and {RPT} honor and {RPT} glory and {NEQ} power belong to the one sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever . ”
Rev.6:13 13καὶ οἱ ἀστέρες τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἔπεσαν εἰς τὴν γῆν ὡς συκῆ βάλλει τοὺς ὀλύνθους αὐτῆς ὑπὸ
