1Tim.3:2 2δεῖ οὖν τὸν ἐπίσκοπον ἀνεπίλημπτον εἶναι· μιᾶς γυναικὸς ἄνδρα· νηφάλιον, σώφρονα, κόσμιον· φιλόξενον, διδακτικόν· 2 So an elder must be a man whose life is above reproach . He must be faithful to his wife .  *  He must exercise self-control , live wisely , and have a good reputation . He must enjoy having guests in his home , and he must be able to teach .
Titus.1:8 8ἀλλά, φιλόξενον, φιλάγαθον· σώφρονα, δίκαιον· ὅσιον, ἐγκρατῆ· 8 Rather , he must enjoy having guests in his home , and he must love what is good . He must live wisely and be just . He must live a devout and disciplined life .
Titus.2:2 2πρεσβύτας νηφαλίους εἶναι, σεμνούς, σώφρονας· ὑγιαίνοντας τῇ πίστει τῇ ἀγάπῃ τῇ ὑπομονῇ. 2 Teach the older men to exercise self-control , to be worthy of respect , and to live wisely . They must have sound {NEQ} faith and be filled with {NEQ} love and {NEQ} patience .
Titus.2:5 5σώφρονας, ἁγνάς, οἰκουργούς, ἀγαθάς, ὑποτασσομένας τοῖς ἰδίοις ἀνδράσιν· ἵνα μὴ λόγος τοῦ θεοῦ βλασφημῆται. 5 to live wisely and be pure , to work in their homes ,  *  to do good , and to be submissive to {NEQ} their husbands . Then they will not bring shame on the word of {NEQ} God .
