Jas.1:26 26εἴ τις δοκεῖ θρησκὸς εἶναι μὴ χαλιναγωγῶν γλῶσσαν αὐτοῦ, ἀλλὰ ἀπατῶν καρδίαν ἑαυτοῦ, τούτου μάταιος θρησκεία. 26 If you claim to be religious but don’t control your tongue , {NEQ} you are fooling yourself , and your {NEQ} religion is worthless .
Jas.3:2 2πολλὰ γάρ, πταίομεν ἅπαντες. εἴ τις ἐν λόγῳ οὐ πταίει, οὗτος τέλειος ἀνὴρ δυνατὸς χαλιναγωγῆσαι καὶ ὅλον τὸ σῶμα. 2 Indeed , we all make many mistakes . For if we could control our tongues , we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way .
